When I created my educational plan with my school it was created ultil 2026 but today I have received an email informing that my education plan will expired in 4 weeks. Did you change the politics?
I can see a Material font in my Figma app by default, but it doesn’t see to be the variable font version. I downloaded and installed the variable font version of the Google Material Icon, but I can’t seem to get it on the Figma app. I don’t see any controls to modify the weight, grade and optical size of the font in the Typography details or variable section. How do I get the variable font version of Google Material Icon in Figma?
Hi all, I’ve been using the Figma MCP server and found that get_code outputs Tailwind classes without any reference to Figma variables. For example, if I have 2 boxes that use two different semantic variables with the same hex value, Figma only provides the raw value in the generated React components. My Figma frame setup What get_code returns in Cursor Unfortunately, this means the model has to guess which token to use from the codebase based on the raw value provided. Here is what Cursor tells me: Do you know if this is intended? Am I missing something that can bridge that gap accurately? Thanks.
I just published a figma make design to share with a client and the ui broke - all the styling is gone and I cant share it in the state it’s in. Has anyone else experienced this?
So, ive been using figma make for a few days now, and everything is absolutely smooth , getting amazing results, creating amazing flows, complex interactions, but starting from yesterday, my figma make became completely DUMB, every simple change that i make on the project, everything breaks, for example, i have a 3 tab design, with everything working fine, i asked figma make to remove 1 item of the accordion on the fist tab and the entire project breaks, the second and third tab simply lost their funcionalities just by doing this, ive tried just edit a text and still gettin this behaviour, everything breaks.Ive been asking consistently to figma make does not interact or interfere with anything else that im asking , but gettin the same faulty results.Dit anything change? why is this happening? do the IA getting dumber ?
It would indeed be game changing and important if we could get the option to automatically swap between variants based on the actual size of the parent frame. This could simulate real life complete web applications and be really helpful to show when and how a breakpoint should interfere with a component.
OK, maybe I’m just lazy but while developing a plugin using an AI editor to help, it would be really nice if I could highlight/copy the red error messages form the Figma application. I know the solution to this issue but for other issues it’s good to give AI the exact wording.

As of Monday (so perhaps a release) cell padding guides / desktop have appeared on ALL of my figma files. I don’t want them. I also don’t want to have to do shift+g every time I open a file. I also don’t want to have to remove 100+ guides on all my files. How do you get rid of them and stop them from coming back
Right now, the “Update from main file” modal is the least helpful modal imaginable: No indication of what or where the conflict is. All I see is a zoomed-out view of my “Layout & Content” library page with nothing highlighted or listed out anywhere. And with this information, I have to choose whether to keep these changes or keep my branch. I manage a design system for a team of 10 designers, split up into 3 pods. This is a nightmare every time. Items with changes should be highlighted, and those changes should also be listed on the left-hand side. Edit: And would you look at that, I chose to keep the branch, arbitrarily, and the next screen actually shows me what the update involves! Why wouldn’t this be on the first screen? (I’ve edited out the content for NDA reasons) Now I actually have to go back to the previous screen and choose again if I’ve made a mistake.
Hello, I’m might not the only one trough this, but gradients from 100% to 0% opacity are incorrect from a color to another. It doesn’t behave like a web browser and it can be confusing. Here is an example roughly pasted from dev mode.
I have a button animation I’ve been trying to figure out. I did my very best, but I can’t work out how it works. I’d like to send you a link to the website where I saw it. Would you be able to explain it to me? Here’s the link: https://www.mutabor.de/de/...Go to the third section on the page (scroll down to Elevate your strategy). On the right, at the bottom, there’s a button called for example Brenntag CASE. When you hover over it, it instantly changes — the button image switches to an icon with an arrow, and the style changes from an outlined button to this icon version. Thanks a lot,Geof
Our Sketch license expires next month and I need to upload copies of all our Sketch files to Figma as we transition over and sketch runs out. We need backup copies of that work. However, recently while importing the Sketch files into Figma, I have noticed that the files are not rendering as they should, with fonts and containers going haywire and looking like a complete mess. Initially I will upload a file and it will load up without fonts, and Figma will say that there are ‘missing fonts’ - I then add the missing fonts like for like, and the fonts appear all over the place - not fitting in containers and spilling out everywhere looking all jumbled up. Also, some of the components look a bit messy too (wrong colours, broken elements etc). When I first tried the import 6 months ago it worked fine - no problems? Now they seem broken when newly uploaded. Is there a way to fix this?
Hello Team, Could you please inform me about the maximum number of users that can be added to a Figma prototype file with view access? Thank you.
