Please how can i turn a screen to a A4 and PDF in Figma
I am following the Figma beginners tutorial and when I select a group within my design, and attempt to convert it to a frame, some of the material from the group does not seem to render into the frame. In particular, it seems to cut off some of the material from the borders.I’m following the steps outlined in the tutorial - create a group, select the group, use the drop down menu on the right to change “group” to “frame”.

Is there a plugin or an out-of-the-box Figma solution that would allow end users to switch UI design between multiple brand looks (e.g., Brand-A, Brand-B, Brand-C, or more than 50 different brands)?The idea is to maintain one master design in Figma, driven by variables from multiple collections and modes, so it can adapt to each predefined brands. Essentially, I’m looking for a way to let end users toggle between various brands based on a predefined set of collections and modes for each brand.
I’m building a plugin that manages numbered dots on canvas, organized in groups. In the plugin, the user can click a button to add a dot to the canvas. However, on larger files, adding the first or any dot is slow to update the UI in the plugin. So far I’ve done this setup Uses Figma.clientStorage registry instead of page scanning Built with Preact, communicates via messages In-memory caching for groups/dots Issue Creating new elements is fast, but UI updates are delayed: // Fast canvas operations create_first_dot: 220ms add_dot_to_page: 0ms registry_update: 0ms // But slow UI update Message received → +513ms → State update State update → +3948ms → Render scheduled Render scheduled → +559ms → Complete Total: ~5s delay Interestingly, the canvas dot appears instantly (despite the large file size). Furthermore: Registry updates immediately Subsequent UI updates are fast (~15ms) Only first update after creating element is slow Any ideas why there’s such a delay between canvas operatio
Is there a limit to how many people can view a model in presentation view at the same time? I get the limits on viewing a model or project itself but I want to share the link of a demo of the model with a lot of people. I feel like I can’t get a straight answer on this.
Hello everyone, I have downloaded Figma to use in this version of my laptop but it is not opening. Any dialog is popping up saying that Figma is not compatible with this version. When I click the Figma icon in the applications folder to opening, it just stays jumping on the navbar donw the page and never opens. I hope somebody can help please. I don´t is anything related with some system permissions but a dialog to login should come up.
Just updated to the latest version ( 124.3.3). The option to copy text from the inspect mode has disappeared? Where did it go? This has totally slowed down my workflow…
Really frustrating, we’re working with a client on a new homepage and our After Delay animations aren’t starting on opening the link. Only once you hit ‘R’ to restart or refresh the page in the browser do they then begin. We don’t want to ask the client to do this as it looks unprofessional, and we shouldn’t have to as this wasn’t a problem until the recent updates. Is anyone else experiencing this?

My problem is that when I try to export it as SVG, Figma responds with: “This file has run out of browser memory. Your work isn’t lost, but you won’t be able to use this file unless memory usage is reduced. In recovery mode, you can access tools and tips to reduce memory usage and continue using the file safely”. After this, I have looked at how much % of memory I am using and I get that I only use 8%, unlike other posts that have a similar error where the % reaches 65% or more. As a result of some testing, if I try to export it as a different file (JPG, PNG or PDF) it gives no problem. Only when I try to export it as SVG. As a last detail, I am using Chrome, on MAC. Hi Figma Community, Our team is facing an issue with our shared design file that’s affecting productivity. The problem occurs when we try to fetch components from our design system or library. Specifically: It takes an unusually long time to load icons and components. The process often gets stuck, forcing us to wait for it to load completely. This isn’t isolated to one person or one file—it’s happening across our team, with everyone working on the same file. The delay is frustrating and wastes a lot of valuable time. We’ve checked our internet connection and ensured our system resources are sufficient, but the issue persists. Has anyone else experienced something similar, or does anyone have suggestions on how to resolve this? Any tips or guidance would be greatly appreciated! i used to be able to just drag and drop a new design on top of the main component and it would change all instances, but now when i try to drag and drop a new design into the main component it just places it over top of the old design. its starting to frustrate me because i think i’ve tried everything… thanks in advance

I have some questions for the Figma pros: What do I have to think of, befor I start creating the design system? What are the best components to start with, based on atomic design? What are best solution for multi brands? Token or using master components? Working with master components, because Ive got 4 brands, Is it right, that I create the master component, copy the child from this component, change color, font from it and create out of this component a new component for brand? How to add and use a icon font in Figma?
I’m making some icons and want to turn the strokes I used to make them into outline stroke for SVG purposes. However, some icons break completely when trying this. I’m making sure that all possible paths are closed, I tried flattening the icons etc. But nothing seems to be working. Does someone know a solution for this? (I tried uploading a screen recording of this but I get a notification that new members can’t do this)
Hello y’all! I’ve been experiencing a weird issue with downloaded icons. I’m using iconic’s free set, but some of them have weird joint vectors when I set the outline. It looks as if 2 vectors were merged or close to each other, but when I look closer, I see no error? So I’m confused on how to fix it: Has anyone had the same issue or knows how to fix this case? Thanks!

In case of using an organization plan, we tried to upload San Francisco (Apple) font packages to make them shareable through our organization. We are not sure if we can use Apple fonts this way. Do you know if someone had similar problems?
i was trying to open a prototype of a project, shared by a colleague, but prototype in not loading and is study in an endless loop, these are the errors i got in the dev tool for my browser, i am using Firefox browser and i have tried deleting all the cache and cookie, but it did not work.
