AI suggestions cannot be turned off

I sent this over to our AI team, and they confirmed that this is currently expected behavior. 

There’s currently no way to turn off the suggestion toasts for AI actions, as actions are recognized as separate from text suggestions. That said, I’ve updated your topic into a feature request, so we can better gauge how this is affecting the community. The AI team is now reevaluating our current content fill suggestion toast notification. 

What is the reason for adding the menu command, which just not work?

Again, to clarify, text suggestions from AI are completely separate and recognized differently by Figma. The suggestions that are made by AI actions can apply to a number of different items on your canvas, including but not limited to only text.

Figma views text suggestions and “AI Actions” as two separate features, so toggling off text suggestions does not toggle off AI Actions. 

The ‘Intelligence’ seems to have gone missing in this A.I. approach. If you must add suggestions for new, please ensure there is an option to block the recommendations/suggestions. Even ‘do not show again’ so we don’t have to go looking for how to remove them.

This 🤬  thing is driving me CRAZY.

Every-time I duplicate a layer or group with text that I need to move around with my keyboard this 🤬 shows up and I cannot use keystrokes to move my layer or group. I need to close this go*dam thing hitting the close button with my cursor and then go back to arranging the elements.

I honestly cannot believe such a useless thing has passed all the review steps and made it to production being as obtrusive as it is.

Could this get fixed? I really don’t mind that it appears, but if I use any other key besides the one that triggers the “Replace Content” those keystrokes should work and not be prevented by this tooltip.

Please. This truly drives me crazy.

I completely understand the frustration here. I’ve merged your topic with a similar, existing one here in the community. While you can turn off AI text suggestions (Go to the main menu > Text > Toggle off Show text suggestions), there is currently no way to toggle off all types of AI tool suggestions, but I’ll pass this onto the team to continue and continue to advocate to add an option to toggle off AI tool suggestions as well.

Look, there’s no need to toggle off such a feature. What I believe needs to be fixed is the keyboard input. If something other than the command to trigger the AI suggestion is keyed, the AI tooltip needs to be dismissed.
