Moving designs between pages (using move to) breaks previously shared link

Hi!

My team has noticed an odd behavior. We share prototype links with clients and internal stakeholders all the time and have been moving designs between pages and the URL’s we’ve shared have been linking to the correct design for a while now.

Our workflow for a specific client is to have designs on a page for internal review, and once internally approved move the design to another page for external review with client.

We use the move to feature to keep the comments and linking like it should be doing.

We’ve noticed if we share the link via the prototype (play and then click the share button) the link resolved when the design has been moved to the other page. However if we copy the link from the flows panel under the prototype tab - the link breaks most of the time.

In looking at the URL from each way to share the prototype they product different URL links.

Sharing directly from the prototype gives a URL that includes Page-id and node-id.

Sharing from the flows sidebar under the prototype tab only includes node-id. This is way that is giving us problems.

We’ll share the way that seems to be working from now on, but shouldn’t either way generate the same URL that doesn’t break if you move the design between pages using the move to feature?
