When using mirroring on my phone, the design doesn’t show properly. Sometimes there are missing elements, or elements that are not fully visible. This happens even when I open Figma Mirror on my phone’s browser. Here’s how my design shows up: I’m using the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra. Already tried re-installing the app and clearing the cache.

I was exploring the features in Figma slides, I noticed the grid option, now I cant find it anymore? Has anyone had this problem? What am I doing wrong? Where is the option to remove / hide the grid over all slides?

Hi 👋🏼 Is there any way to bind variables to my gradient with Plugin API? We got gradientStops and boundVariables for them, but I can’t see any way to set bound variables for it. setBoundVariable() is for bindable fields, setBoundVariableForPaint() is for solid paints. Is there any methods or plans to make ones for the gradient stops? Cheers! Example of gradient layer with bound variables

I’m new here. So I’m creating a lo-fi wireframe and I’ll like the page to be vertically scrollable so I tried expanding the length of the frame. Every other item on the frame stays in place except the vectors. How can I fix it? Also, if that isn’t the right way to make the frame vertically scrollable, please let me know. Thank you!

I’m looking to stack an overlay on top of an existing autolayout frams, such that it scales responsively to its parent’s size. In the screenshot below you can see a simple demo setup. The “Outer Frame” is designed to be responsive when used in a layout. The contents inside (the blue and red bars being shown as an example) will scale in response to any change in its parent frame’s dimensions. The “Overlay” is designed to live inside the Outer Frame, stacked above the Inner Frame in the z-order. It should also fill the outer frame. Below is an image of me doing this using absolute positioning but it is NOT responsive. (image can’t be included for dumb forum reasons) If the Outer Frame gets resized, you have to manually resize the overlay. Adding, for example, 1px borders does not increase the size of the frame. It makes designing websites where “box-sizing: border-box” just not accurate with how browser compute the width and height. How do you go around this behavior ? for me, I add extra 1px padding around the frame (I also have to be using auto-layout).

The professional plan for this month of April was renewed by mistake and I requested a refund. I spoke to a very kind operator who gave me two options in the email: “I can either refund fully by canceling your subscription or I can refund for only the extra users charged this month, but keep the plan active”. I’ve been using Figma for many years now, and to this day, still do not know what value/benefit a “Group” nesting structure provides over a “Frame” nesting structure. I use Frames for everything. Someone please explain! Thanks!

Is it possible to have a table with a border and the rows scroll beyond the fold while the header is sticky? There should be additional space below the table as well. I can get the space to show if the table doesn’t have a stroke but if it contains a stroke the bottom padding is below the last row but inside the stroke. Hello, a colleague left the organization, and one of our teams has no owner now. As an organization admin, I can use the team files and such, but there is no ownership transfer or claim options showing as suggested here: Claim ownership of a project – Figma Learn - Help Center My question is, do I need to claim ownership as an admin? Is there any value or restrictions because of a lack of ownership for a team? If I need to claim ownership, how to do it since I cannot with the suggested support article.

hi, beginner Figma user here. I’m having trouble with presenting my prototype. I have three frames in 1 component set. when i click present, it says ‘a prototype needs at least 1 frame’ when i add a frame, and present it, the frame inside the component don’t show up. instead the frame that i added shows up and covers the entire thing. and when i put the frame behind the component (its size is just enough to fit the 1st frame in the component), it shows up but i can’t skip to the next frame in the component. also when i put the 1st frame from the component in the frame that i added, i can’t use the “Change to” interaction anymore (which was the reason i turned it into a component set.) please help thank you

In all the design files, there are three default libraries in curated libraries. I don’t need them, but I can’t find anywhere to completely delete them. Does anyone know?

Hello, guys. Recently, one of my fellow developers came across an issue: he has the “viewer” mode in Figma for all the files in the project team, and, we he tries to inspect an element, unfortunately the color is outdated. It shows, for example “Red v1” instead of “Red v2”. On one hand, the color used to be “Red v1”, but now it is “Red v2”. I’ve tried Updating the library for all the files Following this guide. This is the issue I’m facing right now. Also, as an alternative option, is there a way of restricting the developer to have access to the dev mode, but can’t edit the Figma elements? The developer only wants to use the Dev Mode, and I don’t want them to eventually mess with the file (so someday I can see a change in an element, but can’t figure out who made that, even with the history - because it takes time)

Hoping for support troubleshooting this, or confirming if it’s a platform limitation I should submit the fix for as an ‘idea to share’ instead… I have a simple prototype that has a home screen with a looping video background and 3 buttons that each open an overlay (when closed, they return to the underlaying home screen). This works as expected when viewing the prototype in Figma, but the video doesn’t play when using the Embed Link of the prototype. Here’s what I’ve tried so far… Add the background video using Figma’s documentation for adding videos to prototypes. In the prototype settings, set the video to loop and toggled off the sound setting. Tested the prototype in Figma and everything worked as expected. Used Figma’s Embed documentation to use the Share toolbar to grab embed code. Created a Notion page, selected the embed option, and pasted in the embed code. Prototype loaded as expected with full functionality, but without the video playback. Tried Notion’s Figma integration t

I am so mad I really don’t care if there are any other topics that match my issue!! Figma is now wasting my time and messing up my work. I have just updated, logged back in via the browser and have now lost access to key files that I have to ask the ‘owner’ or ‘admin’ to enable. I am both! Or I have to ask for support. Well, I’m asking for support now!!!

My company recently changed our email domain, so my email address changed as well. Now, when I log into Figma using Google SSO with the new email, it sees me as a new user and I can’t access any of my old files. The problem is, the old email address is now deactivated, so I can’t log in with it anymore to transfer files or anything like that. Does anyone know how I can get my files back or transfer them to my new email? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
