We work on one single vision document and we create multiple pages. Is there a way for me to open a different page on my second screen?

Hey all I’m a new UI&UX designer learning to work with Figma. I’ve done 2-3 projects in Figma, so I’m a beginner. I’ve never had a Figma fail and the prototype has always worked correctly. A few days ago, I was finishing a page for a client and Figma started to tell me that I had used the capacity of the given file and started cutting my prototype. So I followed the instructions and divided the project into several files, but unfortunately the prototype kept crashing. I tried to send the prototype to a colleague who has a more powerful PC - whether it would work for him, but he also had a problem. In the end, I had to upload the page broken into multiple files without links - which was not good. Is it common for Figma to have a problem with larger projects? Alternatively, what to do when my prototype fails? [4:23 PM] Thank you in advance for any advice and help.

Hello, Ive been trying to add an interactive google map to a Figma prototype. When I’ve searched online it seems as though there has been a google maps embed plugin however, when I’m searching for this in the plugins and widgets section it does not appear. Im aware that there are plugins like mapsicle that offer static map images, however I’m looking for a dynamic map that can cover larger areas and change on zoom. Can you advise whether this is possible and if so how it can be done? Regards, Kian

I want to adjust the middle. So if I push the middle to the right, the red square get larger horizontally and red smaller and vice versa. I tried selecting both and moving the middle but it doesn’t work. Thanks.

Hello, I am looking for help with a very unusual issue with my MacBook Pro in Figma. The touchpad makes this weird creaking/clicking sound when dragging elements around. Totally thought there was something wrong with my laptop but strangely I noticed it only happens when I am working in Figma. Hello, community 👋! The Figma desktop application glitches when interacting with the viewport. The problems are repeated on any design layout, complex and not so complex, old and new. Rebooting doesn’t help, reinstalling doesn’t help, reopening the viewport tab doesn’t help. The drivers on my video card are new and I have no problems with them when working with other software. I never had this problem before, I thought maybe it was my computer mouse, but in my daily work, other products or games the mouse is behaving normally. I have more than three active projects in the team. My problem is that each project has multiple design libraries. Is there a way to hide those libraries that aren’t part of the project? or at least arrange the order of the libraries?

I’ve over the last few months found multiple original asks here in the community that were marked solution that are now false and not solutions. But I can’t seem to flag the solution as false. These persist to rank in google where no user like me is able to say the marked solution is false now. How can we flag these false solutions??

Hey guys! I am somewhat new to Figma and I am trying to figure out how to make a tapping button that not only navigates to another page, but opens an overlay while pressing. I have it on one button working, but can’t figure out how i made it work in the first place. I just want the button to change colors when it’s clicked. As of right now, it’s just opening the overlay and not navigating. Please help! Thank you!!

Dropdown problem

Hello! I’m creating a widget where each node makes a network request using waitForTask. The normal set up for our widget is that multiple nodes exist on the canvas, and each can make long-running web requests via waitForTask. However, we are running into a problem where when one node starts a waitForTask task, any waitForTask tasks that any other node is running is stopped. How can each widget node run a waitForTask task independent of each other?

I tried quite few plugins, but nothing worked. Here is example from my Figma Screenshot-2023-04-27-at-13-05-14 hosted at ImgBB — ImgBB. You can see that icons are as variants in master component. All icons are as stroke. I can flatten them all one-by-one, but name is stripped and there id 400 of them. Also next iteration is would not be great. I tried few plugins (Flatten bulk, Export Icon Font) and external service (icomoon.io) but stroke is serious problem + Flatten bulk stripped names also. Any idea what to do?

So I seem to be having layout issues when implementing Auto Layout & Absolute Position, with more complex layouts, the stacking order does not work with Auto Layout because Absolute Position ignores the order of objects in the design and you end up with Absolute Position fulling under Auto Layout objects like the example below? Has anyone here got any solutions for this layout problem?

Something is wrong with my presentation mode, It has cropped to the center of the screen, and even if I have selected “Fit to Screen” or any other option from the “Options dropdown” nothing changes. Please let me know how to fix this. Attaching a screenshot below

Hi, folks, I have bumped into this strange problem today: I can’t get the Fix Position check box to appear no matter how I try. I have set the Scroll Behavior of the frame to be Vertical and made sure the frame is Clip Content with an overflow frame inside of it. But the Fix Position check-box still won’t appear! And I’ve also tried opening the old file, in which, I had set Fix Position to the top bar, and when I select the top bar, the check-box still won’t appear. But in the Status bar on the left side, it clearly showed, the top bar is Fixed… Is it just me? Or Figma made some changes to it?

In illustrator, I believe there’s an effect called “offset path” that will give this result. Is there anyway to do this in Figma?

Is there a way to create a completely new component set by using the combineAsVariants function? So without using the second parameter to define the parent?

Hi all, This is probably super basic but I’m really new here and learning all the time, well at least trying. I’ve made a vector image of a helicopter and some clouds but when I try increase the size the lines remain the same thickness which results in a chunky heli if reducing size or a skinny one it increasing size. How can I resize but the proportions remain the same?

Is there a way to change visibility on specific flows being shown through a page prototype link? I’d like to be able to hide specific flows from being viewed through the link but they’re always shown in the sidebar. Thanks in advance!

I tried to install the figma, opens the downloader with the logo, and then it just flies out. The figma folder is created on the disk С “user - AppData -Local - Figma” but it is not started. There is no error. What could it be?
