Hi! I am trying to get a custom font we use internally in to Figma, but the weights aren’t carrying across into Figma. On my PC, this worked seamlessly, but I recently moved across to Mac and had to do a clean install of the fonts and Figma’s font install tool. When installing the font into Mac OS, I’ve installed three font weights (light, regular bold) of a singular font, and they function perfectly fine within Word. When I try to use them in Figma, the only font weight available is bold, and when I am prompted to change text weights (as I am editing a file that previously had this fonts), I only have bold to select from.

I have created my account manually (not via Google), then I log into Figma using Desktop App and successfully changed my password. I then go to Figma website and log in via Google, it still allows me in (which I don’t want to since I changed my password already), how could this happens? How can I prevent this scenario to happen? I only want to have a manual log-in with password updated only. Any suggestions?

Hello 👋 I’ve been following this tutorial: (Build it in Figma: Create a design system — Components - YouTube) And at 49:00, the instructor talks about making a rectangle shape stretch inside of a frame. But when I place a rectangle inside of a Frame (I’m using Figma v 116.7.103), all of the align options are greyed-out: And the stretch option doesn’t seem to be available anywhere. Is stretch still an option for this version of Figma? Or was it taken away after the release of this video (August 2020)?

Only this week, I noticed AutoLayout (spacing input) behaving differently. I don’t seem to be able to delete the value to automatically transform into AUTO anymore. For example, if I delete the value of the spacing of 16 pixels in an AutoLayout frame, it turns into Auto. but now, if you backspace (delete) the value, and click outside the input, it retains the same value. It used to behave the same way it would if you deleted (backspaced) a line height property and it turned into auto. Now it is not. Has anyone else experienced this?

I have been using Adobe XD as my main app design tool since it came out. It has many drawbacks, but I really dislike working ‘in the cloud’. This is why I have resisted moving to Figma. XD, well Adobe in General, is pusing the same - save all work in the cloud, but at least it is a native app. The more complex and the larger the file, the more lag in the ‘app’ and the more my workflow is slowed down. Please tell me I’m missing something. It appears I can’t even open a file I have saved locally, even with the Figma ‘Desktop’ app.

hello, i have a problem with “fix position”. i was using figma normally and i needed to fix a nav bar but i could find the “fix position when scrolling” check box, so i rechead an old project of mine that has a nav bar fixed and for my surprise, the “fix position when scrolling” was not showing in this project either… as can u guys see, i have 2 layers fixed, but i cant unfixed them bc doesnt show it to me. can someone help me pls??

Hello, Is there a way to remove vector/object extras outside the frame? For Example : As you can see the vector is going outside the frame. Is there a way to cut the extras (as in the red square) and make it match the border of the frame with keeping the same background style? I need to do this as i’m going to convert it to a flutter project later. I’ve tried generating the code but i guess it gave me an error because there are objects outside the border of the frame. Hope i’ve given enough information, Thanks!

Hi! Brand new and trying to learn Figma. I am not able to see my team library and I am not sure what I’m doing wrong. ANY help is appreciated.

The problem is as follows. I have an icon that is 26x26 pixels. When I export it 1x there is no problem. But when I select 2x and above, I see that Figma has cropped the icon and resized it to disproportionate.

Hi All, Can I integrate stripe payments until my plugin is onboarded to the payment platform?

I don’t know why, but auto layout won’t work on instances, only on the main component or on the detach instance. Is it a known bug? is there a workaround, beside detatching the instance?

I have an element I’m trying to make sticky. I’ve looked in the help files, but the sticky option isn’t available on the element I have selected. Sharing my file below. I want to make the entire left side sticky so that as the user scrolls down the page, the image (of the video) stays in view. Any ideas? [removed Figma file]

Hi! When you don’t logged into organisation account it shows this: But there’s no file owner email. Would organisation admin or file owner see/get a notification that I tried to open this file with my email? Maybe it’s automated somehow. Or should I contact the person who shared the file manually and ask to find the owner? Thanks!

I’d like to prototype this behavior where there is vertically scrolling content separated by headers, and when a header reaches the top of the container, it stays there (sticky), but the content underneath still scrolls, until the next header comes along and replaces the previous header. In my plugin I get the main component from a instance, and from the main component I read the documentationLinks, but for some some reason it is empty, even though when I click on the inspect tab for the instance it has the “View documentation” button which takes you to the correct documentation. Does this happen because the component comes from a external component library? // prints [] console.log(instance.mainComponent?.documentationLinks)

Pseudo slots with component properties Hey folks, So I have been using this tutorial to create a card component for our design system. Mostly this is working. However, when I go to use the component in design work, I am having issues when the slots are replaced by content that the frame is still fixed height and width. I have tried changing this on the layer and its children to hug or fill, but Figma is then fixing the height or width back to fixed. This this the example attached where I am unable to get the frame to hug the content of the text. Any help?

I cannot use a quick shortcut to frame selection anymore, I can use auto-layout and inverse that make a frame, but I can’t do it normally, right click and selecting Frame Selection is Ok, just a shortcut meets the problem. Anyone has a solution or experience for that? Even resetting to default settings can help me. Thanks all

Hi everyone, I wanted to bring up an issue we’re facing with our icon library. We’ve assigned a size property to each Icon (Small, Medium, and Big), but some icons also have additional properties like direction or filling (such as arrows or favorite actions). The problem: When we switch from a standard Medium or Big icon to one with multiple properties, the size property defaults to Small and doesn’t preserve the original size selection. Adding images below 👇🏼 This limitation is particularly challenging as we’re currently building components like buttons and cards. I’m curious if anyone has any ideas on how we can fix this? Scroll is misbehave in Figma mobile browser, even same design working properly in Figma mobile app. Any one facing the same issue?

When designed screen height is more than viewer’s mobile screen height then data is not scrolling in mobile browser. The same design woking perfectly in Figma mobile app. Is Figma prefers to every one must install Figma app rather than view in mobile browser?

I have created a contact form for my website but where does the information that my customers fill in like their contact details go to? How do I connect it to some sort of form or something so I can see which customer has filled in the form and the information?
