Recently noticed that components search (Shift + I) results are a bit random.Sometimes before giving me the correct result, it shows a few absolutely different components that just doesn’t have any relation to my requested component’s nameAdditional info if it can help:Device: iMac M1OS: Sonoma 14.1.1 Figma: Desktop App version 125.4.9Searching components across different files/kits (our components each have a different published file)

When multiple components are nested within a component, the content that is ignored in the nested components does not change in size along with the size of the original component's canvas.

Dear Figma support team,in my last billing period I accidentally assigned a full seat to another email with viewing rights. Once I realized the mistake, I assigned it back to view-only immediately. But in the monthly invoice a 11.33$ one-time charges and credits appeared. I assume it’s for the accidentally assigned full seat. But since that wasn’t used at all, I would like to kindly request a possibility for refund. I understand your policy, but I would appreciate you reviewing this case for refund.Thank you!

We have created figma AI site. Mapped domain to eat. But since 3 days its in pending status.  Can you please review settings, Its been too long, we are losing business. Earlier same domain mapped to other site in same project/directory and was working fine.Domain : https://www.urbts.com/Link :

Problem: I’m duplicating a file in a project that has the “Discoverable via search” setting set to true. However, when I open the Share modal of the duplicated file, the setting is set to false:

I had account A with email address <someone@example.com> and I have transfer ownership of the file to my other account <newsomeone@example.com> and after that I have verified I have access to that file and after that I have deleted the old account <someone@example.com> Now I no longer have file access and try to go by URL I see below page

I’m trying to export a design from the browser client as png, since the pdf is in 1.7 and I can’t export pdf/x. But I always get a .zip with pdf files. Even when I selct jpeg, I get a pdf file. Only happens when I try to export more then one page. If I do it for each page individually, it works.

How do I cancel this subscription?

Hello Figma community! I’m having issues when working with a fixed navigation bar on Figma Sites, particularly when viewing the website from Safari on an iPhone. When scrolling, the content from the website goes underneath the dynamic island (aka notch) correctly. And the navigation bar stays where it should. Still, I can’t figure out a way to “extend” the navigation bar background to cover that area behind the notch. With the design I have, it just makes the navigation bar look bad because it looks like a floating element. Ideally there should be a way to, either extend the background from the navigation bar behind the notch or to set that area to a specific color, like always black, for example. See the screenshots for a more clear view of the issue. I also attach the configuration of the nav bar in Figma. Initial position Position after scrolling Is there anything that I can do to fix it? Thank you,R.

It seem that the variable browser inside Figma is getting the wrong value when you hover over an alias. It then gets the value from the first mode, instead of the value for the mode it is referenced in. This error seem to also propagate to the Plugin API for reading the variable values. This file demostrates the issue explained below.“Header padding” in the Medium mode seem to have the value 48 when you hover over it. Which is the value from the Large mode, not the 24 from the Medium mode. However when you apply the value in the design it works as expected and the value is actually 24, when the mode is set to Medium.Even more, if you go to the variable browser and unlink the value if also gets the value 24.My main issue is not the hover in the variable browser, but the fact that also the Plugin API is getting the wrong values.

I'm encountering a new issue in Figma: Imported or drag-and-dropped images now have an extra space and 1 number added to the end of their filename. This problematic behavior is occurring even with multiple simultaneous drag-and-drops, a method that previously worked correctly without altering the names.

I am getting a error message “Project too alrge - delete some files and now I can’t do anything. 2c785709-3457-41d1-86ab-89f14ec061b3

I have recieved an email and said I will receive a confirmation email from support@figma.com with steps to set up my Figma Education plan. However, I don’t recieve any related email from support. I already double check my junk and spam but none of those have this email.

Hi everyone, I really need help with a serious issue.I used Figma on the same computer with two different accounts:– a personal account (used only in the browser)– a work account (used in the macOS desktop app)Recently something strange happened: the projects from my work account started showing up inside my personal account in the browser. My personal files — ones I’ve been working on for years — have completely disappeared. The trash is empty, and search finds nothing.Even when Figma shows the correct personal account in the browser, the content inside it still belongs to the work account. It looks as if the accounts somehow “merged” or the workspace data got overwritten.I’ve already checked the forum and tried all basic actions (clearing cache, different browsers, incognito mode, logging out of all devices, etc.). Nothing helped. This is extremely important to me — the missing files contained long-term creative work, and losing them would be devastating. I’m hoping someone from the F

Hello, our students on our BA programme have been trying to verify their accounts using the option with no email from the college provided (Vakalo Art & Design) and have unfortunately had no luck. Our college does NOT offer students with @vakalo.gr emails as the college professional emails are on Gmail business. There is no option to provide their official student IDs (those are provided), and at this point, they are locked out of their existing accounts, with all their portfolio work out of reach. We are currently at a stall in our academic year because more than 4 modules use Figma as their main tool, which is causing anxiety and frustration among our students.SheerID is really ignoring emails and tickets and have not been helpful. The stakes are high as Figma is the tool we’ve been using to teach several key lessons for the past 4 years at Digital Design Pathway but this seems frustrating. How can we overcome this obstacle smoothly and efficiently, and provide our new students st

Hello,I’m experiencing an issue with Figma Web related to the font installer. I’ve tried reinstalling it several times, and although I get a “success” message, the fonts still don’t show up in Figma. My MacBook was recently updated to macOS Tahoe 26.1, and this issue started right after the update. The fonts work normally in the desktop app, but I really don’t like using the desktop version — I prefer Figma Web, which is essential for my workflow.I’d like to request assistance to fix this issue or understand how to restore normal functionality with the installed fonts on Figma Web.Thank you in advance!

When ever I submit or stop an on going prompt the following things happen- Navigates to homepage- Refreshes the homepage and starts like a fresh start, fetching details from database and rendering for each prompt- Thought this as a code issue and tried fixing it, but is didn't succeed fully.- AI provided solutions like collecting pages of the current session and once I enter the prompt it stayed in that page. It stores current page and assigns that page after prompt submit. But it went to the top of the page and refreshes the page. Solutions tried:- Made a copy of the project- Used different browser- Tried in a different project- Restarted the browser and the device too. Nothing worked.

Hi, I am having problems resubmitting my existing oauth2 client id for the recent changes is it possible to get an extension on the deadline while I get it fixed? Thanks,Toby

Hi,I’m writing because I haven’t received any response from the Figma Education Team, even though I’ve contacted them multiple times regarding my Education verification issue.I already reached out to SheerID, and they confirmed that my verification was successfully approved on September 10, 2025 (Request ID: 68c0cff38506831465be96ec).However, my Figma account is still locked, showing “Verification Limit Exceeded,” and I cannot access some of my files. This situation is causing a lot of inconvenience for my ongoing work and classes.I’ve emailed education@figma.com several times, but there’s been no reply for weeks.Could someone from the Education or Support team please check this issue and help unlock my account? Here are my details for reference: Name: Yejin Kang Email: [redacted PII - DJV 11/26/25] Verified by SheerID on: Sep 10, 2025 Issue: Account locked with “Verification Limit Exceeded” despite valid verification I’d really appreciate any help or update on this matter.Thank y

Hi,I’m trying to upgrade to the Professional plan, but I’m unable to complete the payment due to a currency restriction. When entering my card details I receive the following message:"Your payment method's address is in a country that can't pay in EUR. Please use a different payment method."I’m in Hungary, and I entered both my billing information and card details correctly. I also tried using an EUR card, but the same error appears. Normally payment processors convert currency automatically, so I’m unsure why the system prevents the purchase.Could you please help me to resolve this issue asap?

Hello Figma Education Team,I’m currently signed in with my student email and was recently prompted to re-verify my Figma Student account. I attempted the verification process several times, but encountered some issues that prevented successful verification. Now, I’m receiving an error message stating “Verification Limit Exceeded.”I have also reached out to SheerID but they have not solved the problem.I rely on Figma for my academic work and ongoing coursework, so I would greatly appreciate it if you could reset my verification attempts or allow me to re-submit my student credentials.Thank you very much for your understanding and support — I truly appreciate your help in resolving this issue so I can continue using Figma for my studies.
