use_figma` tool not appearing in Claude Code despite all MCP servers connectedI used it a total of 16 times before, but something changed in the past 10 days to 2 weeks.I need to escalate this please. I am completely blocked.I need both read and write access to all variables in my Figma files.The MCP config in ~/.claude.json is correct — https://mcp.figma.com/mcp is registered as figma. And the tool has been used 16 times before from this machine (usageCount: 16), so it's not an account/eligibility issue.use_figma is still not appearing. However, get_variable_defs did return live variable data from that node. I can see variable paths but not collection names directly.use_figma is still not showing up. The standard MCP tools can read variable values for a selected node (which worked — I got data back) but they can't enumerate variable collection

This is the most infuriating thing—more often than not, I'm working WITH the variables menu open. And as I'm selecting and unselecting layers using the ESC button, why does it default to closing the variables panel? If I want to close it, I'll just hit the close button. The ESC key is VERY commonly used during a regular workflow—why would opening a variables panel COMPLETELY override it?! Terrible UX for a design tool company :(

We have tried to complete the payment using 4 different cards, but all of them were declined by the system. We kindly request immediate assistance regarding this issue.Even though there is no problem related to us, we constantly receive the error message "your card has been declined". Interaction is not working properly. For example, I have an interaction where clicking it should go to the next variant. However, when I hover over it, the variant changes to the hover state even though the interaction is not supposed to trigger on hover.

I hit my monthly cap with 15,000 AI credits and couldn’t get an answer on how to purchase more, so I created another account and gave that account access to work on my project.  I upgraded that account to 15,000 AI credits as well, but even though they were purchased I keep getting a message than I have none remaining.  I figured it was a temporary bug, but it’s now been almost 2 weeks without any change or work completed.  How can I get access to these credits?

Hello figma I paid for figma professional plans and I was debited but I saw this mail that my payment couldn't be processed and i was debited from my bank account.

The majority of my Figma make files are presenting Something Went Wrong Errors with a request ID. I am unable to make changes to these either via the prompt window.  

Hey there, we’ve experienced some layout issues over the last couple of weeks between our design and dev team. Multiple developers commented, that some designs seem to be broken – however they are displayed correct when our designers enter the figma file with their admin account. I’m not sure how far the discrepancy goes, but what I can say is that it has to do with auto layouts that seem to get stuck in dev mode. If designers update components, the auto layout within the file updates as well. However, sometimes the same component in dev mode looks like it is stuck in a fixed size frame and will be cut at the edges. The only solution that fixes this problem is, that you delete the auto layout and create the same auto layout again. As mentioned, this is pretty annoying as there is no chance for our designers to see the problems that the devs are experiencing. And on the other hand if the layout is not clearly a mistake, the Devs might as well

I can create new pages but when I add a new breakpoint (tablet or mobile), the page goes blank and I have to kill the tab and reopen the file. This has been very frustrating.

I built the website using Figma Make. The images display normally while editing and in preview mode. However, once I publish the site, all the images disappear, both in the preview and on the live domain.  Where could I be going wrong?

I noticed recently that the variable search suggestion is quite broken when I enter my queries. Below is a screenshot of me writing my query to filter down my results. But you can see the results don’t filter correctly. This as been the case for a while now.   

As mentioned above, currently when using AI to generate design drafts, during the writing process, the AI provided me with the following feedback, and I hope it can be fixed. 

I cancelled my subscription on May 7, yet I was still told it would only be cancelled on May 13 and I was charged anyway. If I cancelled before the renewal date, there should have been no charge. They stole my money after I had already cancelled my subscription. Very disappointed with how this was handled.

Hi everyone,I wanted to reach out on an ongoing billing issue with our Figma Organization plan, as support has so far only clarified the billing structure but not addressed our actual concern.To recap the situation:We briefly upgraded our account to an Organization plan with 1 Full and 1 Dev seat and were correctly charged €73.15 for a short usage period.Shortly after that, we downgraded the account back to View Mode because we did not intend to continue using Full or Dev seats.Despite this downgrade, our account was charged €960 for an annual renewal of the Organization plan (2026–2027), which includes those seats.Support confirmed that this €960 charge is the standard annual renewal for the plan. However, our understanding is that the downgrade to View Mode should have cancelled or prevented any further commitment to Full/Dev seat licensing going forward. Ive been building a prototype journey that has different images e.g. a map, cards with profile photos etc and it picks and and chooses whether it decided to display them or not. iv’e prompted time and time again to say please display, ask why etc - and i cannot get a consistent prototype showing images at all. any ideas??  

The so far generated designs are not showing up in the preview panel. Refer the attached screenshot for the reference.
