Hello! I’m using the latest version of Figma on my education account and have activated AI, but I don’t see the AI prompt in the toolbar for creating prototypes, designs, or suggesting auto layout. Does anyone know why these features might not be available?

Can you please help me change my Student Account to a Starter Account?

Sometimes I have this error, don’t know why. Worked fine from monday to thursday, now down again since Friday. any ideas? Tried to clear cache, tried to use incognito, tried different browser, tried the app. Nothing worked. -Not using any VPNs, adblocker is turned off for figma. Everything else seems to work fine except Plugins.

Hello everyone, I need urgent help. A few days ago I created a FigJam board and restricted access to "Only people invited". I was the only person with access. After refreshing the page, I can no longer access the file — it shows me the "Request access" screen, even though I'm logged into the same account I created it with. I only have one Figma account and I never shared the file. It contains important data I need to recover. I just upgraded Figma to get the full seat, but whenever I try to go to dev mode, it asks me to upgrade the account… Could you please help?

Hello everyone, I have a problem viewing my invoices from Figma. I had a professional plan for almost a year, now since is enough for me, I switched back to the free plan. However now that I am on the free plan I can’t view my past invoices because the admin panel is not available. I would need those invoices for corporate tax filing. Since I am on the free plan I can’t even contact someone. The AI chatbot suggested me to upgrade my subscription to view my past invoices.. 🙃 Someone knows I can fix this?

Hello Figma team, I’m one of your users and I’ve created a very important file for our company in Figma. Unfortunately, the file is now locked due to the limitations of the free plan, and I am unable to perform any action on it — not even saving, duplicating, or deleting extra pages. Sadly, our company is currently unable to purchase a Pro account. We just need temporary access to unlock the file, so we can remove the extra pages and continue working with it. Please, if possible, provide temporary access or any solution to unlock this file. It is essential for our ongoing project. Thank you for your support and understanding.

Hello :) I use the Figma starter version for personal designs. I’ve created a presentation to publish for the community. But I don’t see the “publish to community” button on that file. I am the owner of the file and did check the Figma guidelines and rules on publishing. Can someone help out here?

🔍 What’s going wrong Font weight and appearance are not preserved In Figma: font-weight: 275, looks bold enough. On publish: rendered as Barlow Condensed: ExtraLight, visibly thinner. Same happens with other fonts — rendering does not match the intended weight or style. Container width is incorrect In Figma: text element is set to a fixed width (96px). On the live site: the same element appears narrower (72px). This breaks the layout and spacing with adjacent elements (like letter X). Important: This behavior occurs regardless of which font is used. It seems that Figma Sites ignores either: the defined container width, or the actual font bounding box / glyph metrics from Figma The result is incorrect rendering that collapses layout elements, misaligns compositions, and makes the design appear broken — especially in typographic systems with precise alignment.

i have not been able to use figma make today. it says and i did not even get to use it! i never used it today and it just locked me out. wowwww totally good product design figma. JUST CUZ I OPEND FIGMA AT 5:50 AM DOES NOT MEAN YOU SHOULD LOCK ME OUT. PLEASE. FIX THIS.

Hey, Figma Make has started doing this weird thing where in between during changes or updates to the code, it erases previously established major chunk of features with Hello World or something else in the App.tsx file. It just basically erases it and does not realize until mentioned otherwise in the new prompt. This has been happening very often now since my last 2 projects and few prompts. The above image is an example from one of my recent projects in Figma Make. I was building a huge movie tracker and during one of the changes, it just removed the major chunk of the app. When I mentioned it next in a prompt, this is what it replied as. Please ensure closePlugin is not called until after the font loading has resolved.”. I’ve tried multiple fonts including basics like Times New Roman, but it can never seem to successfully load the font. I saw a similar question posted a couple years ago but it didn’t get any traction: I’m definitely not a typescript expert, am I missing a step somewhere?

Over the past week, I've been having a problem exporting images. Some parts of the text or frames are shifted by a few pixels, as if they were cut out. At first, I thought the problem was with the font, but it turns out that this problem occurs with any font. I tried all methods, but the only solution I found was to shift the text and frames by a couple of pixels. Has anyone encountered a similar issue and knows how to resolve it? The text and frames have integer values without fractional parts and are tied to the pixel grid. Changing the file type to JPEG or PNG does not help either.

I can no longer copy an image from one Figma frame to another. If I want to replace an image I usually click into a frame, open the fill so I can see the image thumbnail, then copy and paste it over an existing image, then delete the old image underneath. This function no longer works, meaning that replacing images is going to take much much longer.

My Maker file is crashing too. It just hangs trying to auto fix error and the Preview is just blinking in a very strange manner. This started as soon as Maker came out of Beta and has gone progressively worse.

Hi, After the update, I can no longer copy individual CSS style properties. Now it’s only possible to use the copy button, but in that case it copies all the styles.

I’ve been using Figma Make for a while and almost crossed 650+ versions. Now, whenever I input a prompt, the prompt is working on the file, but version history is not showing. “Reasoning” is the status which is visible, nothing other than that. Now I can’t do a undo to my previous versions.

I can no longer drag and drop variables. Just yesterday, I was able to rearrange colors, strings, and numbers. I’ve tested this across multiple files and accounts, but it no longer works in any case.

I am using Figma Slides and when adding Live Integration - Stamps the frame or text gets cuts in design mode and in present mode the whole Stamp frame/box gets cut on top and bottom. Design Mode - text in Stamp does not display in its fullness Present Mode - Stamp gets cut on top and bottom

Was working on a file and switched from windows to mac. After logging into Figma from mac, cant seem to find the file i was working on and the sharing link that I generated previously does not have access. I have been using Figma Make to design my portfolio which was going great. Things I got done - Created a homepage Added Interactions Defined a visual design language As I am proceeding to drilled down pages further, I have noticed a few things : The images that were added previously are deleted / replaced by new ones - despite specific instructions to not do it. Slow speed : I also noticed that the typing speed of prompts slowed down as I proceeded further - cross-checked if it was a computer issue (which it wasn’t) It’s forgetting things! with every prompt & design updates, it’s now deleting the previous content + pictures :( all the hard work seems to be going in vain and I’m not afraid to touch the project in fear of disrupting the progress so far Can someone help me? Also, what’s the memory capacity of Figma Make? I noticed it was using Calude Sonnet so, assumed it should have been good. Am I missing something here?

Recently, I’ve noticed that some of Figma’s previously reliable features are no longer working as expected. They used to perform well, but their functionality has significantly deteriorated.

I'm using Figma Make with an imported mobile game UI from Figma. No matter how detailed my prompt is, the generated code only outputs a minimal div with “Hello, World!”. I've tried multiple prompts, verified the selected frame, and even followed the official examples. It seems like the Make feature isn't actually processing the prompt or design structure. Anyone else experiencing this? Is this a known issue or am I missing something?
