PNG exports including background

Hi, I’m trying to export an individual element from a design as a PNG. The element I’m exporting is slightly transparent. When I export the element it is including the background in the PNG. The layer does have the Background Blur effect turned on. It never used to do this and seems to have been introduced in the latest update.

I’ve quickly created an example of a container box with the background blur effect in use and also an attachment of how it exports when trying to save it as an individual asset. The background pattern shouldn’t be included but it is part of the image. Any help appreciated.
