How to activate cms payload

Title: Payload CMS creation button stuck loading indefinitely in Figma

Hi everyone,

I'm experiencing an issue with the Payload CMS integration in Figma. Whenever I click the "Create" button, it just enters an infinite loading state and never completes the process.

I've already tried multiple troubleshooting methods, but nothing seems to work. The button simply keeps spinning indefinitely, with no error message or indication of what's going wrong.

This is particularly frustrating because I'm completely blocked from continuing my project until I can get this working.

Has anyone else experienced this issue? Is this a known bug, or is there a workaround that could help?

I'd really appreciate any assistance, especially from the Figma team, since I've already spent a considerable amount of time trying to resolve this myself.

Our Engineering team recently deployed a fix for a similar issue affecting Payload backend creation in Figma Make. Could you try clicking Create again and let us know if it works now?

Since you’ve already been blocked for some time, I’ve gone ahead and created support ticket #2244705 so our team can help if the issue persists.

If it’s still stuck loading, please reply directly to the ticket email with:

  • A link to the affected Make file

  • The approximate date and time of your latest attempt, including your time zone

Please also invite support-share@figma.com to the file with Can view access. This won’t affect your billing and will help our team investigate.

Hi Celyn,

Thank you for your response and for escalating this issue to the support team.

Unfortunately, I've just tried creating the Payload backend again, and the issue still persists. The Create button remains stuck in an infinite loading state, i have also tried to click the button with another browser, and even tried it on my android system, but nothing changed.

This issue is still preventing me from progressing with my project, so I'd really appreciate any further investigation or potential workarounds.
