Hi! I’m following a video by BYOL right now, and he’s done such a great job explaining things. But I’m a teeny bit (very) confused about something:What I’ve got / what I’ve done: I have a main component which is a set of icon components combined to form a single component (I’ve called it Nav - Lower (NL)). I’ve taken three instances of NL and used them in three other frames. What I want: To make sure that the main component is responsive, so I changed its constraints to Left + Right and Bottom. I want to be able to change the main component and see those changes reflected in its instances. What I don’t want, but is happening right now: Screen-recording: 

I’m working on a project with 2 files:the Design system, containing the entire component, style and variable library the Delivery file, containing the final mockups.I draft mockups from a “Sandbox” page on the Design system as a way to save time by limiting library publications & updates. Then once it’s ready, I copy/paste the final mockups from the Design system file to the Delivery file.Until now I had no issue. But today, I’m getting the following message:I don’t understand why I’m getting this message. Obviously I want to keep all variables attached only to the Design system file as the single source of assets.I’ve double-checked: the library in the Design system file was fully published and updated on the Delivery file before I copy/pasted the mockups into the latter file. I’ve done it multiple times.The Design system file contains a few hundred variables, and if I do click “Copy variables into this file” on the banner, the confirmation message says “21 variables pasted”.I’m g

Hello,Since yesterday, the Figma desktop app has become very slow. It takes a long time to load, text and objects respond with a delay, and dragging elements causes lag and leaves a trail.Interestingly, everything works smoothly in the browser version.I’ve already tried the following troubleshooting steps: Cleared the app cache Reinstalled Figma Updated all drivers Disabled antivirus Unfortunately, none of these helped. Until yesterday, the app was working perfectly without any issues.Is there anything else I can do to resolve this?It’s really inconvenient to work in the browser version for my daily tasks.Thanks in advance for your help.

Hello Support, We are currently running on Professional plan which is renewed annually but we want to update the number of paid seats from 3 to 2 as the one extra seat is not required and also it is unassigned.Please help us with resolving this issue.

Before, I could use the Figma AI to match the designs from my colleagues, but now our account is unable to match them and instead it shows library contents.  

I’m feeling like an idiot. I’m on a professional plan, but I can’t find any invoices in my email and I can’t find anyplace in the Figma site to download previous invoices. This should be easy…been looking for 15 minutes and can’t find anything.

Hi ​@Junko3 , I have paid for professional plan of figma make, yet if I want to add a custom domain to my published site, it still shows me that am using the starter plan, and as such I cannot add a custom domain. Please help me and check this.

Currently Copy/Paste Properties doesn't seem to work at all. I have 2 simple rectangles with different fill colors and strokes. I copy one, then paste properties on the other. Nothing at all happens.This is in the standalone app on Windows. 

I keep facing this issue: Figma severely punishes me for my love of having many open pages. Initially, my pain was that they still haven’t added a scroll feature for tabs, as is already implemented in almost all browsers! When you have around 20 tabs open (this is an approximate number; I haven't counted), all new pages fall off the edge of the screen, making it impossible to access them without closing some of the open tabs. A particular source of frustration is when a colleague sends a link to a file, you go there, open a voice chat, and during the discussion, you need to show something from another file. You switch to that file, copy the screen, but can’t get back because that file has already gone off the edge! It’s incredibly annoying. Hey!I recently noticed a strange error in several of my projects. When I apply smart animate to a component, the text is increasingly displayed incorrectly.Example 1: I use a zoom effect on an image with a delay, and the text remains unchanged in both states. In the preview, the text suddenly becomes larger. I suspect that my variable mode for the font size is being ignored during the initial interactions, which is causing the error. It is also strange that the error only occurs in the first transition; the other images do not have this problem. Example 2: I have the same problem with the text in an accordion element. I made sure that the elements are named identically and are recognized as identical elements via multi-edit. Does anyone have an idea? I would like to fix it because it looks unprofessional in the customer presentation. Have I overlooked something here? Thanks!

I created a site with a mobile breakpoint, and it scales properly on my desktop, but when I navigate to it on my phone, I see the mobile layout for just a split second before it switches to the desktop layout. Any ideas on how I might fix this?

I had one annual full seat on my account. I needed to add a new monthly full seat to the account, as I have a temporary worker working on my team. When I went to add a monthly seat, an annual seat was automatically added to my next invoice instead. How can I change that additional annual seat to a monthly seat and get the charge changed accordingly on my invoice/charges? If that’s not possible, how can I remove that additional seat all together and get it removed/refunded from my next month’s invoice?

Some Figma projects take a long time to load. Even when the file appears to have finished loading, navigating between layers is extremely slow or unresponsive, making it difficult to work on the design.Steps to Reproduce: Open a project with multiple pages and layers. Hi all, Each time I publish a library after making some changes all my icon library gets affected from this change and I end up with thousands of updates each time. This happens especially when I don’t make an update on the icons but on other primitives, such as colour, typography or other variables. Is there a way to find out what’s causing this to trigger? Thanks  

I want to create a prototype where the header hides when scrolling down and becomes visible again when scrolling up. However, I couldn’t find any feature or tutorial explaining how to achieve this. I did find an old video, but it didn’t work for me. Is there any way to make this work?

I have Figma MCP enabled but whenever I go to the MCP server URL I see the following response {"jsonrpc":"2.0","error":{"code":-32001,"message":"Invalid sessionId"},"id":null}

As stated, the Video Settings menu is not allowing me select or deselect settings with newly uploaded videos. The issue persists on both the desktop app and on Google Chrome browser. Videos that were uploaded a few months ago do not have this issue.  Am I missing something? 

When my student and I leave some of my files, they zoom way out. Even when I select to zoom in for the selected content, it zooms out each time I leave. Is it possible to zoom in and have it stay zoomed in on the content when I leave then return? In most cases, the pieces I want to zoom in on are the only content on the page.

Hello. Trying to preview an app I created in Figma Make on the iPad but I can only preview in the browser mode, which breaks the prototype because of all the extra browser panels and whatnot.The Figma app, however, does not even see the Make files.Is there a way to make Figma see Figma Make so that Figma can see what Figma created?

Hello!I have heard that you are about to update your bootcamp verification process starting September 23th.  Starting September 23, self-verification of bootcamps will no longer be available, and an administrator will need to confirm the bootcamp and then grant access to students and instructors. I have the following questions:1. If my company uses Figma as an online course rather than a bootcamp, do these updates apply to me? 2. Where can I find more detailed information, namely which organizations will be granted access, how the student and teacher confirmation process will work, and other details?Thank you in advance!

Hi Team,I wanted to flag a recurring issue with Figma’s performance that’s been significantly slowing down our workflow.On average, I lose about 30 minutes each day waiting for Figma to update libraries or upload changes.Here’s a typical scenario: I’m working with two library files (Lib 1 is big, Lib 2 not): Library 1 (which uses assets from Library 2). After making and publishing updates in Library 2, I switch to Library 1 and click “Update all.” That’s when things grind to a halt. Figma slowly processes the updates, and once the cloud upload icon appears in the top left, I know I’ll be waiting long enough to step away from my desk. I am creating coloring pages for my students and I made one with over 1200 squares to color in. I now want to separate it into different pages, but I can’t seem to unlock all of the squares to separate them into separate pages. I tried the unlock/lock stuff, but it only unlocks one at time. I tried to highlight the entire area and unlock them, but it didn’t work. It seems like I have to unlock the individual squares one at a time. I really don’t want to click through 1200 squares. Is there a way to unlock all in design?Or is there a way to highlight multiple objects or layers and unlock all of those?

Hey!I’ve noticed lately that I cannot remove the values for min- and max- (auto layout) by clicking “remove min and max”. I use variables for these values, but it also happens with normal number inputs. It looks as if min and max have been removed, as the icon for height and width shows the indicator (additional lines around). But when I look directly at the two values, they are still there.Same with the layout guide: It does not change when I click on the existing one and select a different one. It only changes when I delete it and add it again.Has anyone else noticed these issues? They are currently complicating the QA process for us.I would appreciate any feedback. Thanks!

I am trying to import a .csv with 500 cells (the alleged FigJam table limit) into FigJam to convert to stickies, but whenever I try to import it, it says “partial paste successful – table limit size reached” after pasting only 23 cells. Is there something I’m missing?
