I was trying to renew my Figma Professional plan for a single user since last 5 days, but when I am trying to pay $23 through Indian debit card which I used previously to purchase the subscription, the amount is showing $0 before the final payment and thus the transaction is not working. I would appreciate any help I can get regarding this.

Can you realistically and honestly building a working and stable website on Figma Make or is just for prototyping? I am not a developer but i managed to build about three sites on Figma Make, published them and is now live but i do not have the comfort of knowing that the sites will remain stable

Hello,  I am currently working on a Figma Make and I am consistently getting this error “Try attaching fewer or smaller parts” and no matter what I entered in the prompt, I am always getting this error. I already tried duplicating the project but the error still persist there.  

Hello Figma Team,I've found a bug in the 'Share file' modal that makes it impossible to invite a large number of people at once.When I paste a list of more than 15-20 email addresses into the invitation field, the list overflows the visible area. However, no scrollbar appears, so I cannot scroll down to see all the emails or, more importantly, to click the 'Send invite' button.Steps to Reproduce: Open any Figma file. Click the 'Share' button in the top-right corner. In the email input field, paste a long list of comma-separated emails (e.g., 20 or more). Observe that the list of emails fills the modal. Try to scroll down within the email input area. Expected Behavior:A vertical scrollbar should appear, allowing me to scroll through all the added emails and access the 'Send invite' button located below the list.Actual Behavior:The email input area does not scroll. The list of emails is cut off, and the 'Send invite' button is pushed off-screen and becomes completely inaccessible

so I have modified and downloaded the files into my laptop and later I edited the app with the prompt in the Figma .so I want back the downloaded version of it .I have tried to give prompts to get back but not came fulls so help me with the karthiksirigupa@gamil.com

Normally the library files show a little icon in the lower left of the tile thumbnail image that looks like an open book. One of my files is showing a new symbol I’ve never seen before and I don’t know what it means. Anyone know?Symbol I haven’t seen before.

I’m facing a strange issue in Figma. Some elements in my project are completely invisible on the canvas—they don’t show up while I’m designing, and even though they are clearly listed in the layers panel. However, when I switch to Prototype mode, those same elements suddenly appear as expected. I’ve tried checking layer visibility, groups, and constraints, but nothing seems to fix it. Has anyone experienced this problem before or know a solution?  

All the semantic variables are just hex values the reference colors (primitive palette) are stored in STYLES instead of variables The semantic roles are doubled both in the vairables and the styles the components themselves consume the styles instead of the variables The option to generate the color table is not a checkbox like the documentation claims. its just a link to the plugin page? I just want a simple monochrome app with one accent color for my CTA. VERY standard stuff. I don’t want this weird multicolor rainbow library that gives me PINK cards. What is going on???…. It’s a literal nightmare. I can’t see how to use or customise it systematically, or why any of these decisions were made. Is there anybody here who has successfuly used it and actually understands how it works??

I designed some UI screens a few months ago, today when I came back and suddenly kept duplicating frames, FIgma would freeze and automatically enter Recovery mode, you guys can try going to this link and duplicating this frame 😀[redacted]

Even ones that does not contain photos.It is just “Failed to import file” error with no clarification at all…Just yesterday it worked and now this.. Hi everyone, I’m running into some confusing behavior with Auto Layout sizing when using nested Hug and Fill settings, and I’d love some clarity on whether this is expected. Here’s the setup: I have a parent frame with its width set to 100 and its width sizing set to Hug. Inside it, there are three child nodes: two text nodes and one frame node. The two text nodes are set to Fill, and the frame node is set to Hug. Now, here’s where it gets strange: When I change the frame node from Hug to Fill, the entire element’s width increases to match the width of the longest text node. This seems unexpected, because the parent frame already has a defined width of 100 and is set to Hug, so I would think that should take priority. Even more confusing, if I set one of the smaller text nodes from Fill to Hug, the overall width decreases — it looks like that takes precedence over the fill sizing, which doesn’t fully make sense to me.  Is this the expected behavior? Hi everyone,I recently noticed that Figma Sites now allows us to embed video directly into frames, as follow:  This looks like a really useful feature for adding richer content.However, I am running into a problem: The video displays and loops fine. But the sound does not play at all, no matter what settings I choose. I have tried enabling “Play Sound” and disabling “Mute,” but the video remains silent. Has anyone else encountered this issue? Is there a workaround or a known limitation with Figma Sites’ video embed? Or could this be a bug in the current release?Would really appreciate if anyone from the community (or the Figma team) could clarify whether sound on video embeds is officially supported yet.Thanks in advance!

HiA few of my students keep receiving the message “an admin needs to update a seat so they can get access” (with a red exclamation mark next to it).I am currently using the free Edu plan, and at the moment there are about 38 Collab seats already taken. The students experiencing this issue have attempted verification, and their status is showing as Collab, but they are still unable to gain access.Could you please advise on the solution or next steps? Is this related to a seat limitation, or is there something else that needs to be updated on my end? What exactly? Thank you very much for your help! 

 Im currently a student at the University of Cincinnati in the DAAP program. One of my main issues with Figma at the moment is the verification of the education plan. I've been told to contact SheerID, but after numerous replies and sending support email tickets, I've also been ignored about resetting my verification. I desperately need Figma for the current assignments Im working on, and my college professors are giving me less and less time to get this issue resolved. Can you guys please do something to help me out, because every time I send in an image of a government-issued ID, like drivers license, it's not getting verified. Please help me out, I desperately need Figma or else im out of luck and losing grades.

I’ve recently created a new color token library as part of our Design System, which has now replaced the old one. However, I’m running into some issues with older files.These files still contain references to the old library (which has been unpublished) alongside the new one. As a result, some components don’t work as intended, even though they’ve been updated to use the new library.When I pull in brand-new components, everything works fine. The problem only appears with components that were originally linked to the old library, it seems like there’s some sort of conflict going on.Since we’re talking about hundreds of existing components in the olf files, replacing them all with new ones isn’t really an option.Is there any advice or best practice for resolving this kind of conflict without having to manually replace every component?

I am working on a white label product, where we have a set default mode for our product (purple colours) & we use modes for branding.We have what we consider core tokens and then component tokens.In the Core tokens, all brands are linked with their proper swatches.When I am “remapping” a component token though, all swatches preview values of the purple default colourBut, when you break the swatch, the correct hex value is displayed, per brand. Also, when switching between modes (brands), on the side bar, the swatches change based on the brandThis problem appeared 2 weeks ago, after I updated FIGMA, but this is also happening in the desktop app as well.I believe it is due to the default mode being set as default, since when I switch the other brands to default the same happens.Is this a UI bug, or is it something that can affect the actual variables and therefore the exported json that we give to our dev team?Apart from this being very difficult for us to work with, it poses a possi

Hi everyone,I recently subscribed to Figma’s $5/month annual plan ($36/year) for personal use. Yesterday, I was accidentally charged $190 after approving a team member when I only wanted them to view a file.I noticed the mistake within a couple of hours, immediately removed the person, and submitted a refund request.Since this just happened, I’m wondering: Has anyone here had a similar experience? Were you able to get a refund or credit back? How long did Figma support take to respond? This amount is quite significant for me financially, so I really hope they can make an exception. Considering that document.execCommand is deprecated, what would the best way to write to the system clipboard within a custom plugin? Right now, it’s a bit hacky where one can create a temporary HTML UI, set elements like textarea with the intended value to copy, then use document.execCommand. That will likely not be supported in the future, so ideally there’d be a nice and secure way to work with the system clipboard through a Figma API.

Hello everyone, I’m newish to Figma and need some help creating a template. Mu document has editable text, logos and colours of background boxes that need to be controllable from one Excel/CVS. I tried a few plugins and with the first one I was able to get the text and logos to change, but it didn’t support solids. Then I tried another plugin but this time I could only get the colours and text to change, but not the logos. Is anyone aware of one plugins that could change all those attributes from a single Excel doc? Thanks in advance! :)   

This also keeps happening to me in the browser - it’s really disruptive.
