Is there a way to embed the Figma Make prototype in Figma Slide?I couldn’t find it...

I paid the annual fee for the Professional Annual Plan in May, but this June, I didn't use the full seat, but the full seat was charged for the year. I contacted the support team, but I haven't received a reply email yet. How long does it usually take to get a reply, and is a refund possible?

Hi all,I’m looking for a solid starting point for a instructions file for VSCode/Cursor when using the Figma MCP and outputting to HTML with Tailwind classes.I’ve created a file that uses a set of variables that would map very closely to Tailwind, my layers are named considerately (ie flex-col, flex-row, h2, p, button-group etc).So far I’ve used ChatGPT to create a ruleset, but the output in VSC is often incorrect and would basically be quicker just to manually write the code.On Twitter/X, Adam Wathan (founder of Tailwind) posted this:https://x.com/adamwathan/status/1937222377923915864?s=46&t=Zp5JtqqhOEFJCyrs0wJbqgIf anyone has a open source successful instructions md file, please point me in the right direction!

Hello Figma Site community!I recently launched my portfolio using Figma Site. After gathering some user feedback, I realized that people would like to manually scroll through the project photos.Personally, I’d like to keep the infinite marquee effect, but also add a way for users to manually scroll, either using arrows or horizontal scroll.The problem is, my images are inside an Image Strip component, and it seems like Figma Site doesn’t allow combining marquee with manual interactions.Has anyone found a workaround or solution to allow both features to work together?I'm happy to show my settings panel and share the site link if needed.https://www.claramistou.frThanks a lot! 🙏Clara

Every file I try to open has the same issue: the working area is gray and I cannot interact with it. However, the menu works, I see all options and layers. Still, I can’t do anything with them. How can I fix this?  

When selecting an object, the marking used to disappear when you change color - so you could see the effect in-real-time. Now we have to de-select the object to view the change. Really an issues that needs to be fixed!  

Hi everyone,I searched the forum but only found general issues about right-click not working at all – nothing about this specific behavior:When I right-click (or ctrl-click) on an object, I only get the short context menu (see first screenshot), instead of the full extended one (see second screenshot). This really slows down my workflow.I’m using the Figma Desktop App version 125.4.9, optimized for Apple Silicon, on a MacBook Pro (2021) with macOS Sonoma 14.5 and an Apple M1 Pro.Has anyone experienced this? Could this be a setting I’ve missed or a bug?Thanks in advance for any help!  

Any idea why this would be? The autoplay is turned on - and the sound is off but when previewing all the video’s sound is on!

I shared a Figma link with my friends, setting their permissions as Viewer. However, after some time, the permissions for some of them who accessed the file automatically changed to Editor. When I checked the file again, all settings still showed Viewer. How can I fix this issue?

Settings pageHey, as a new user, I tried to create a configuration page using “open overlay”, but it seems that this prevents interactions from the background. I don't see any options to change this state, if anyone has an idea. As soon as I click on an icon (here the language icon), it opens an overlay that blocks all interactions from the background.

Is there a way to spell check and entire page without a plug-in? or do you have spell check each individual text layer separately?

When I click update to update my branch with the main file, I get this prompt. This just started happened within the last 2 weeks or so. This is unique to me, my other team members are not having this issue. thanks

I'm working on a library. Everytime I try to edit anything on a component (even text), after the smallest change, the auto save icon shows on the tab and things get incredibly slow. Even typing is a pain. Is there a way to pause auto save so that I can make edits in peace? Any workarounds?

I frequently use AI tools (like ChatGPT) to generate structured content, especially tables formatted in markdown. When I copy these tables into platforms like Google Docs or Microsoft Word, the structure is preserved and rendered as expected.However, when pasting the same content into Figma, the markdown formatting is lost—tables end up appearing as plain chained text, which makes them unreadable and requires manual cleanup or reformatting.Steps to Reproduce: Ask an AI (e.g. ChatGPT) to create a markdown-formatted table. Copy the output and paste it into Figma. Observe that the table structure is not maintained—no columns or row alignment, just plain text. hi!I'm using the Variables REST API (POST /v1/files/:file_key/variables) and having an issue with updating a variable's resolvedType.According to the documentation, I understand that VariableChange objects support resolvedType as a parameter for UPDATE actions.However, when I send:"variables": [{"action": "UPDATE","id": "VariableID:30927:47472","resolvedType": "FLOAT"}]｝The API returns 200 success, but the variable's resolvedType remains unchanged (still "STRING").Questions:Is resolvedType actually mutable via UPDATE operations? This seems like a very basic question, but I wasn’t able to find an answer or a solution: when I’m inserting/adding a component from my assets, what’s the best way to make sure it goes directly in to the correct folder in my layers? Currently an inserted component always goes at the TOP of the layers - and then I need to scroll and drag it to where I want it.Can anyone help? thanks

I want to know if, when working in a connected project, it’s possible for me as an external collaborator to create and edit files that are private to me, using the host’s shared library. Specifically: Is every file created in a connected project visible to the host by default? Is it possible for me to use the host’s shared library in my own private space, so I can work privately until my project is ready to be shared in the connected project? My goal is to be able to work on a file that is only accessible to me until I’m ready to present it within the connected project. Thank you for any insights!

Hi everyone, I am trying to set up library thumbnails as components to nest in ‘library preview’ component for documentation so that as I change thumbnail design they sync with the docs.I am having a problem when i change out the thumbnail component it does not insert as expected. You can see from the screenshot the frame scales as expected but the text does not.Is this a thumbnail component setup problem or a libray preview thumbnail setup problem?Thank you,Mark  

For some reason when i align an objet with a rule set to 160px from the border of the frame, when i click ALT it showed that the pixel is 161px off the border.This somtimes happens to the left, and sometimes happen to the right.
