I do not speak Portuguese, so I hope it is ok that I reply in English. To update the Figma desktop app, open the app and navigate to Figma > Check for updates… 

If there is an update available, you will be prompted to update, or if you’re already using the latest version of Figma, it will indicate you are using the latest version. Hope this helps!

​@djv Hi, I came to this thread because I cannot find an update option for my mac app. The option in the screenshot you posted above does not exist for me. I am having a lot of issues with the app lately and I am frustrated that it is so difficult to find how to update my app. Is there another way I can do this? Thanks.

Are you by any chance using the Figma desktop app in Full Screen? If so, if you bring your cursor towards the top of the desktop app, the same menu should appear.

If you’re not in Full Screen, when in the Figma app, locate the apple icon in the top left, and you will see Figma to the immediate right. 

You’ll want to click Figma to open the drop-down menu as previously shown then select Check for Updates…
