Hi all, Is there any way to find out the contact info of the author/designer of a figma file?? 

In my company, we have strict security policies, and I need to ensure compliance before using MCP. Specifically, I would like to understand where the server is initiated when the get_code_connect_map command is executed. Does it run on my local machine, or is it hosted on Figma's servers? Any clarification on this would be greatly appreciated!

​​​​​​Hi gang, Im having an issue with some style variables that were added to old version of DS file still showing even after I removed from the file Im working in and removing the shared library where they came from. Context: This variable was created to switch from IOS to Android stylings, but once we started using them we found it was super buggy and we’ve changed our approach.So the issue is now, I had created a duplicate of the DS library file to start improving and fixing some of the issues and components as the original was being used in an active project, I removed the original library from the new one, but now the variables from the old file are still showing up. Any advice would be amazing ❤️

I move someone from a Collab seat(Plan subscription) to a View seat, their Collab seat becomes available and then I assign the seat to another person but why Figma show invoice that I have renewing monthly seat?

This file may have been deleted, moved, or made unavailable."J’étais connectée avec l’adresse : [redacted], et certaine de ne pas avoir supprimé le fichier car ma dernière consultation remonte au 7 juillet 2025 et tout allais bien.J’ai tout vérifié (drafts, corbeille, autres comptes...) mais impossible de retrouver le document. It works fine on other browsers like MS Edge and Chrome. I’ve noticed the same issue in Firefox while using Confluence as well.Has anyone else faced the same? And any idea on how to resolve this?What I’ve tried until now:Updated / reinstalled Firefox. Cleared browser cache.

HI! just noticed that when i upscale an object with a stroke applied to it. the stroke maintains its width. Is there a way for the stroke to scale with the object? (Just like in Illustrator) Using Scale tool not an option, as it indeed scales up the width of the object, but when dealing idth icons, as soon as you swap an instance, the new instance reverts back to original width. I was in a Team Project in a Started Mode and since I'm a newbie I didn't know that files created in the Drafts section are attached to that team project, I thought they were my personal drafts. I left the team project and now I can't access that draft. I found guidance how the owner can recover it (I had "can edit" access) but the guidance was only for professional plan and I didn't delete the file in the Drafts section, I only left the team project. Will I be able to access it again if my account gets added back?Or can the owner somehow access the file that i created in the Drafts section? The thing is two of my accounts were in that project, and by looking at Drafts section of account that is still in that Team Project, that file doesn't appear.What can i do? How can I or the owner access that file that I had in the Drafts section of the Team Project that I created when my account was one of the members of that Team Project

How can I edit a file created in Make in Figma?

Hi, I’m trying to write a plugin that will create slide decks based off a template and spreadsheet of data.I want to write template slides that use some syntax such as `{{field}}` where anything in `{{}}` is considered the column name and for every row in the table a new slide is created with the placeholder replaced with the value from the spread sheet.I need to have more than one slide that is the template. So I want to be able to name the slides.Having looked around I should be able to rename the frame that represents the slide. However this isn’t possible.I’ve been following these instructions https://help.figma.com/hc/en-us/articles/360039958934-Rename-Layers The problem is the layer view doesn’t show me anything that represents the whole slide. Is it even possible to set the name of a slide?

When I export any objects from Figma to PNG, the result files have the same transparent areas as in original objects. But not in PDF - transparent areas always replace with white color areas! Exporting from Figma, you can see the transparent area around the icon: Result (png), transparency saved: Result (pdf) transparency was replaced with white color:

I created variables for weight, font family, and sizes. In our design library, I updated all our font styles with variables. The variables are listed below. The problem is that sometimes, the fonts would show up as “Open Sans Condensed” instead of “Open Sans”. The only way to correct it was to break the link to the style and then reapply it. It broke many components and styles where this library was used. I disconnected all the variables from the font styles and defined them as one would normally. I published the library again. Updated the library within the file and the font on the text was still wrong. The fix is to select the component. Reset changes and then undo. Not sure what I did wrong or why it broke so much stuff. But, I would like to resolve it as we plan on making several different modes for different accessibility needs and this would save us a considerable amount of time. Problem:I have Figma Code Connect set up and working in my project (I can see other components like TextField from @pperform/atum are properly connected), but when I query the code connect mapping for a specific Figma component, I get an empty result {}. I’m sure that i already get the right component which have the setting code connect.Setup:Figma Code Connect is configured and working for other components in the projectUsing React/TypeScript frontend with @pperform/atum design systemCan see "Connected" status in Figma for other components (e.g., TextField). Expected Behavior:Should return the code mapping/connection details for the Figma component

Hey! I am currently experimenting with Code Connect and yesterday while reading I came up to a document that was related to best practices to be followed by designers in order for Code Connect to work at its best, but I am not able to find it today. Could someone help? Thanks!

I have created a file containing components and styles that I would like to re-use in other files, so I published the library. When I include the library in another file, all the components etc. show up, but not the typography or color styyles. What am I missing?

Hi community,My colleague and I suddenly run into this issue. When we select any text elements, including creating a new one, not bounded to any styles or components or variables, the colours won’t show any library files. It only shows 1 colour swatch. See image below. This swatch was created in this file somehow. I cannot even delete or modify it.  The file was working the day before, but suddenly broke. I found this post, but the answer doesn’t address the issue.Does anyone know how to solve this please? Thank you so much in advance. 

In figma Make i ran up to the limit of the AI Chat with claude sonnet 4. i can’t ask it anything anymore. It gives an error. Can i clear all cache on the chat somehow , so i can continue the project? anyone who can help with this?

Hello!! I have code connect snippets set up within my Figma system and I am attempting to use Cursor to get the code from Figma. When I try to do this, I am receiving this response, stating no Code Connect files exist.Below is a screen shot of my frame and connected snippets. Did anyone else encounter this problem and have any solutions? This was working for the past two weeks so wondering what has changed with MCP or Cursor.
