hello i need help sheerid recently keep rejecting my documents i have tried with national id , and passport, and emailed them multiple times still no response and now i have been exceeded to try please help as this is frustrating 

In the design mode in figma slides, I noticed last week that I can’t shrink the layers panel for slides that have a lot of layers. This makes it really difficult to navigate between slides since it’s mostly covered up, and I end up toggling between slides/design mode to hide the layers panel.See attached screen recording:  

Suddenly, I can’t double-click to select anything inside of any element. This was working up until today. I am up to date on both my Figma Version and my Mac OS (Sequoia 15.6.1). Desperately need help on this, I can’t keep using the layers menu to dig down and select. 

Hello everyone,when changing the state of an instance of a button component with icons, the icons’ color does not change. Also, when switching the icon component within the button with another icon component it does not maintain the button component state’s color, but instead shows the icon components color.I do want the icons to keep the color of the button’s state though. I tried many of the forum’s hints, but none worked out for me. Here is what I did:I used the Material Symbol plugin to pick icons. Then, I created individual components of each icon. Next, I used the Icon Resizer plugin to resize them as variants. Then, I created a buttoncomponent with icons and text with variants of different sizes, states (default, hover, selected) and hierarchies (primary, secondary, ...) as the button component’s properties. I nested the icons to the left and right of the text in the button. When using the Icon Resizer plugin a double instance is created and the original icon renamed as .root-ic

I am really pissed of because it deleted my blog posts and wrote some random junk as an apology. I even didn’t ask it to make such a thing. This is happening for the second time. Whoever trained it in that way. Hear me. This is WRONG!!!What is more, it is not able to revert it!. It doesn’t have access to 2 older version!!! 

I keep on getting the following error when i try to update my branch and when i look at the status page - everything seems to be fine…. I am completely blocked - any suggestions how to fix this?  

My email account to which I use to get access to Figma has been disabled. The email got disabled and I could not access to Figma as well. Is there a way to regain access to that account? I wanted to post this question here to see if anyone had experienced the same thing. Thank you.

There is no paste and replace option on the menu after I copy the object and when I use command+shift+R, it turns into rename action. Is there anyone know how to fix it?

Same as title! Now I am unable to remove the edu status for this account. When i try to reverify the student status for my original account, it says “Verification Limit ExceededWe're glad you're enthusiastic, but it looks like you've already redeemed or attempted to redeem this offer.”I have also submitted a ticket. Please help!

I am experiencing ongoing issues with the SheerID verification process for my student account.After submitting all required information, SheerID asks me to verify with a government ID. I have uploaded my passport multiple times, both in clear and high-quality images.However, every time I submit, I receive the same response:“We were unable to confirm your identity.”I also contacted SheerID Support directly and explained the issue through their form, but unfortunately, they have not provided a solution. The problem persists even though my documents are valid, clear, and up to date.This issue is preventing me from re-verifying my student account and accessing Figma Education benefits. Could you please review this case directly or provide me with an alternative way to verify my student status?

Hi, could you please help me with this?I’d like to switch my billing from monthly to annually. In my settings, I only see the option to upgrade to the Organization plan, but I don’t need that at the moment.Would it be possible to issue me a new invoice with the annual charge instead?

Dear Figma Support,I noticed an additional charge under "One-time charges and credits" after I mistakenly assigned a team member as an Editor, which triggered a paid seat. I immediately reverted them back to View-only, and the seat was never used.Since this was an unintentional action. I kindly request a cancellation or refund of the related charge.  my project load failed in figma app even on paid plan  unreasonable what the While trying to open/use Figma, I consistently see the error banner:“Something went wrong. Our team is looking into it now. If refreshing the page doesn't work, check our status page for updates.”The issue persists even after refreshing, trying Incognito mode, and testing on another browser.Please confirm if this is a known issue on your side and advise on any immediate workarounds.

I commute by train and worth in the Figma app en route. The wifi is slow and patchy, so I make sure I open the file I want to work on beforehand while I have a good connection. My issue is that while on the train, Figma sometimes enters a loading state - presumably to autosave - but then hangs in that state indefinitely, even if the wifi is working. So I'm then unable to work until I get off the train.I'm guessing this is because the internet connection is slow, but if so shouldn't it time out and let me carry on editing the file offline?If I close and try to reopen the file, it just hangs again. Any advice on how to avoid this scenario is much appreciated - it's causing me a lot of lost time!

I'm designing a platform with figma make, but when I press the correct error button, I keep thinking about the message "Thinking" and it won't shut down without fixing the error, and it won't work. The same goes for logging out and doing it again. What should I do?

Hello Figma Community & Education Team, I am a Computer Science student from Sudan. Due to the ongoing war, our university has suspended operations and we were displaced outside Sudan. Unfortunately, I cannot provide a current student card or portal access because the university has not yet set up an online system for us to continue our studies. I have been using Figma since 2020 and have spent over five years improving my design skills on the platform. The Education Plan has been essential to my learning journey. At this time, I cannot afford a paid plan, and losing access would be a huge setback. I kindly ask if the Figma Education Team could consider my situation and help me keep my Education Plan active. I’ve been trying to verify my account for the Figma Education Plan for week and through Sheer ID I have submitted my school documents. But after I received ‘Get verified for Figma’ Email from Sheerid Verification, I’m stuck with this reviewing process. My Education plan is going to expire in a single day and because I’m in the middle of highly important project, this is very critical situation. I did not expect this process to take this long. I’m really not sure what else to do—any guidance or help would be greatly appreciated.  

I am working on integrating Figma's API to automate certain tasks, specifically adding images into nodes within Figma files. The process involves using Make.com to send API requests to Figma to modify a node (for example, inserting an image into a rectangle).I am using Google Drive to upload the image generated from ChatGPT and then obtaining a URL to insert it into Figma. Could this be causing the issue, or is the problem related only to the API?I have successfully set up the API calls for retrieving file content and getting node information using the GET method, and I am able to retrieve the necessary data from Figma. However, when attempting to send a PATCH request to modify a node (inserting an image into a rectangle), I face an error.  The problem: Error 404 (Not Found): When attempting to use a PATCH request to modify the node by adding an image, I receive a 404 Not Found error. This occurs even though I can retrieve the file and node data via GET successfully. Possible Cause:

Lately when having a figma file open, that is comprised of several pages , I suddenly (or randomly) get a “Loading” state on the screen, that redirects me to the very first page of the figma file after a moment. That means the designs, I am working with, cannot be watched for the duration I would need to effectively work with figma.I enjoyed using Figma for a very long time, but this gets me incredibly frustrated, because it wastes so much of my time.

Hi I’m working in a Design System where I’m using an Icon button with what is called a Master icon (so the icon inherit the color from different states or modes). When using this icon button inside another. component is shown distorted, but very randomly I would say.  Here is an example, on the bottom is the base component of a File uploader component and the icon button with the bin looks fine, but when I take these base components into the main components (top one), it looks distorted. I assume this is a Figma bug, because sometimes happens, sometimes not and the button is done exactly in the same way as the other button component that shows Label + button.Is anyone having the same issues?
