Cannot verify myself as a student

I am currently a student and cannot verify myself to get access to the student plan. I have already spoken to the course provider and they say its because my account was created a while ago, which does not make any sense to me. I have also changed my Role to Education through settings. Can someone help?

Hey there, thanks for reaching out on the Forum! 

For bootcamps and online courses, student plan access works a bit differently. Verification isn’t done individually by students; instead, the course provider or bootcamp administrator needs to verify students on their behalf. That means there’s no additional action required from you right now.

The next step would be to ask your course administrator to add your email address to their approved list and complete the verification for you. Once they do that, your account should be eligible for the student plan.
