Hi Team,I wanted to flag a recurring issue with Figma’s performance that’s been significantly slowing down our workflow.On average, I lose about 30 minutes each day waiting for Figma to update libraries or upload changes.Here’s a typical scenario: I’m working with two library files (Lib 1 is big, Lib 2 not): Library 1 (which uses assets from Library 2). After making and publishing updates in Library 2, I switch to Library 1 and click “Update all.” That’s when things grind to a halt. Figma slowly processes the updates, and once the cloud upload icon appears in the top left, I know I’ll be waiting long enough to step away from my desk. I am creating coloring pages for my students and I made one with over 1200 squares to color in. I now want to separate it into different pages, but I can’t seem to unlock all of the squares to separate them into separate pages. I tried the unlock/lock stuff, but it only unlocks one at time. I tried to highlight the entire area and unlock them, but it didn’t work. It seems like I have to unlock the individual squares one at a time. I really don’t want to click through 1200 squares. Is there a way to unlock all in design?Or is there a way to highlight multiple objects or layers and unlock all of those?

Hey!I’ve noticed lately that I cannot remove the values for min- and max- (auto layout) by clicking “remove min and max”. I use variables for these values, but it also happens with normal number inputs. It looks as if min and max have been removed, as the icon for height and width shows the indicator (additional lines around). But when I look directly at the two values, they are still there.Same with the layout guide: It does not change when I click on the existing one and select a different one. It only changes when I delete it and add it again.Has anyone else noticed these issues? They are currently complicating the QA process for us.I would appreciate any feedback. Thanks!

I am trying to import a .csv with 500 cells (the alleged FigJam table limit) into FigJam to convert to stickies, but whenever I try to import it, it says “partial paste successful – table limit size reached” after pasting only 23 cells. Is there something I’m missing?

Hello, I’m working on an exporter plugin to automate our workflows. However, I’m not sure how to run commands on user’s PC. For example in order to automate texture export path, we need to call “p4 info” to obtain client’s workspace path. import { exec } from 'child_process'; doesn’t seem to work. Please help. Thanks! 

Hi! I have created a design with a gradient in a button: The PDF export however shows all buttons with a vage gradient not corresponding to the design I made:  JPG and PNG exports are working fine. Am I exporting the wrong way or is this a thing Figma could fix?Thanks!

Hi!We recently switched from the Professional plan to the Enterprise plan.Previously, we shared the component library in view-only mode with our suppliers, and they could add it to their work files in any team (even free ones).Now they are no longer visible in other spaces. How can we make them visible and addable to their work files?Is there a solution without copying and pasting the components from the libraries and/or making a copy of the library?Thanks

file structure : ai-assistant-data.ts Is there a way I can edit the content of .ts files / code? By the look of it, I can download the highlighted .ts -  and it contain the various chunks of prose. When I click on ai-assistant-data.ts nothing happens (I’d perhaps expect it to show in the code window) I would like to edit these directly and save if possible. 

It’s not about the loading.It just instantly says “Error: An error occurred while using the tool get_code”.It happens only for ‘get code’. get images, metadata, and all others are working.Both on Cursor and Claude code on Vscode.

Hello, my Figma slides were functioning properly yesterday. However, I just noticed that the right panel settings are no longer visible. The Layout, Appearance, and Stroke options have disappeared. Could someone please advise me on how to resolve this issue? I have selected my text, but I am only able to change the font and Fill color.

When I design a presentation on Figma (as a prototype), I add the correct weight for each font (Regular, Medium, Bold, Italic) - when I present it, some of the texts’ font weight revert to Regular. Does anyone else have a similar issue? Know of any solutions so that the font weight won’t change when running a protoype? Thanks 🙂

Was building out a design and once happy with the component I created a component set and it has now pushed all the annotations very far away and not next to the element that it relates to.Any ideas on how to fix this? I have restarted Figma and my laptop.Figma version 125.7.5 

I’m using Make to make a prototype. Today it kept changing layouts and functions when I give it something unrelated, then it won’t revert back. It say’s it has reverted back but it hasn’t.I just noticed something that was a massive change and I don’t know when it happened. Possibly hours of work gone. Very, very frustrating. Would love to know if others are getting this too.

Does anyone have a step by step guide on how to setup the MCP and then use code connect, like cursor and VS code? or something. Idiot proof that a junior designer can setup by themselves. Apparently the guide on figma: like first of all it’s not step by step. the screens doesn’t add up. checking settings and all. it’s just so ever confusing. @figma please step up and make it ever crystal clear please. i’m not a coder and your steps aren’t clear.

I’m a current graduate student in the U.S., and I’ve been trying to get verified for the student plan. Unfortunately, the process keeps failing for different reasons: sometimes it says I’m using a VPN (which I’m not), other times it claims I’ve already redeemed the benefit (which isn’t the case), and occasionally it just says there’s an issue with my verification.The process has been very frustrating, and I would really appreciate help from a real person to resolve this (no more AI generated responses).

I just started out with figma and using it on two different devices, but it my figma home screen stays in an eternal loading screen on one of these devices, it's not loading on a MacBook M1 8GB RAM. I tried restarting the machine, updating it, emptying browser cache, leaving all vpns, relogging, using desktop app and the browser one, nothing is working, but as soon as I use the other system, everything works fine. What could be the problem? 

Problem is only in Desktop,it’s ok in browser    many pictures don't load on desktop. and in the browser everything works fineif you zoom out - then small size loads. when you zoom in - emptiness, or partial display

Hi everyone I just landed on Mac from windows, I see some differences inside the program. I was trying to scale a frame using “K” command, but it all mess around like every element is on his own, usually it happen when I create an auto-layout, or I don’t scale proportionally. I also tried enabling the proportionally scale button as showed in the photo.It only works as I aspected If I press de x2 or x0,75 button.
