Question

Unexpected charge after Professional plan ended + no billing tab available — why am I being charged?

Hello,

I was on a Professional (monthly) plan and let it end / canceled it at the end of the last billing period. I confirmed that my workspace is now on the free plan and there is no active paid subscription visible in my account.

Despite this, I have been charged again on my card after the professional plan ended. I cannot see any Billing tab or invoice history because billing access is only available for paid plans or team admins and I am now on free.
Details:
- I previously had a Professional monthly subscription.
- The subscription ended and my account shows Free plan.
- I was charged again after the plan ended, without renewal or active paid plan.
- I cannot access billing or invoices to see what the charge is for. :contentReference[oaicite:1]{index=1}

Questions:
1. Why am I being charged again even though the plan ended and my account shows free?
2. Is there any way to view the billing details or invoice for this charge without upgrading back to a paid plan?
3. Based on Figma’s billing model, should recurring charges stop immediately after cancellation or only after the billing period ends?

Hey @Anh Phan — thanks for reaching out and for clearly laying out what you’re seeing.

I’m not able to access or share account-specific billing details from the public forum for privacy and security reasons, but this resource may be helpful in explaining the most common reasons unexpected charges can appear: There are additional charges in my Figma bill.

I’ve also gone ahead and opened a ticket with our Product Support team so they can review your account directly and answer your questions in detail. Your case number is: 1646600, and they’ll follow up with you at the email address tied to your account as soon as they have more information.

Thanks for your patience while the team takes a closer look — they’ll be best positioned to clarify what the charge is related to and what options are available next.
