Hi, very fun playing around with Figma Make, and am chomping at the bit for more functionality ;) Main Q right now: when will we be able to use our own photos and images in Make? At first I tried using my photos, providing the image itself, links in the code, etc. to no avail. Then I noticed in the help article that it says using direct images isn't available yet — the model will just create an interpretation of the image right now. Is this right or am I trying to upload/retrieve images/photos all wrong? Please let us know all the things! I'm sure other early experimenters want to know too...

Hi team 👋I am trying to publish a v4 version update for a plugin I am creating for Figma, but I’m getting the following error:“XHR for “/api/plugins/1535371360850075397/upload” failed with status 403”and the suggestion:“Please try again, or report this file to the Figma team for support.” Where should I submit the file? There is no link provided, and I couldn’t find any instructions. 

Hello! Are we able to re-verify our education status at the team level vs. individual? I had to submit my pay stubb to verify my status and I’d like to prevent my team from needing to do this as well.Thank you!

I am doing a website with decorative illustrations, which mean every elements are to be put on a single page. I chose to add drop shadow and inner shadow to enhance the visual. However my figma get super lag to the pointt when I run my prototype, some animations crashed my work. Nevertheless I didnt want to remove the shadow effects unless it’s my only choice. Do you guys know anything to solve this issue? I would really much appreciate it TT

As an owner of a DS, I’m trying to get as much value of my libraries as possible, so we can also think of connecting it to MCP server and other goodies. But while trying to connect everything to Code Connect, we got into some roadblocks.  Recently, while trying to include a component instance (Badge) to one other component (Chip) in the Code Connect, it was always showing an error in the code output. This error was saying the following:  I eventually was able to overcome this by adding the component as a “component swap”, so the “Badge” was shown in the code output (otherwise, the error)—although, my idea is to not use it as a swap, but only as a boolean, but for now it worked. But, when clicking on the Badge component “tag” in the code (see image below), I was taken to the preview of the Badge, where I found out this component preview not only had the old name (more than 6 months old since we updated all component naming convention—image 2), but also the property names were also outda

Hi everyone,I’m wondering if anyone has dealt with this before or has advice on the best way to get in touch with someone at Figma. 🙂I’ve been trying for the past two weeks to set up my education account, but I haven’t received any response. Right now, Figma isn’t recognizing my @fsusd.org email as eligible for an education account. When I tried adding my students to my team, it only lets me create four projects, which means my students can’t make their own.I couldn’t find a direct email or phone number on their website, so I’m stuck. Has anyone else experienced this? Do you know the best way to reach someone at Figma, or if there’s a specific contact for education accounts?Thanks in advance for any help!

Hey folks, Images are what's probably most important when using Slides.. why do I need to get back to a normal file, set a blend mode and copy it into Slides again? That is exhausting and degrades Slides unnecessarily.

I’m trying to generate a custom font from https://github.com/uswds/public-sans using their build script which outputs ttf/otf files. However, when uploading custom fonts (named different than Public Sans) in the Resources > Fonts to be shared across my organization, the custom font does not render correctly.I can see the custom font in the font dropdown, but in console, I get a 404 for https://www.figma.com/api/fonts/1205729/file/8VD5apkKPfyFkBPBUFICZB with response:```{    "error": true,    "status": 404,    "message": "Not found.",    "i18n": {        "id": "error.not_found",        "fallback_text": "Not found.",        "params": {}    }}``` Are there specific rules or validation issues for uploading custom fonts for an organization? When I install the OTF font locally in FontBook, it works - but I want my entire organization to use a custom generated font.

Hi - We’re building 7 new websites in figma sites and have run into an issue. For some reason when we go to publish the demo domain it only shows the tablet breakpoint on mobile. Desktop will pull desktop and tablet pulls tablet so it's just mobile that seems to be broken.Is there any solution to fixing this?Thanks!

Hi,I need your help! I have added extra invisible cards to the grid to fill the gap in the grid. Every card has Fill width and a min width. When I simulate the responsiveness, up to a certain point everything works fine. The cards resizes and moves as the window size changes. I need the wrap effect to display mmore acrds on a row if the screen is bigger, fewer if thescreen shrinks. But as you see the last card cannot resize as I wish (also because the invisible cards on the right) after a bigger screensize. Also the invisible cards creates an empty row at a wide screen width. This empty row remains when I switch to the second tab. Is there a solution for this? I need to present the responsiveness and the empty row didn’t help. :( 

Hi there!I’m currently unable to upload images in Figma. When I click on an existing image and select “Upload from computer”, nothing happens. I also tried using the browser: when I click Upload from computer, it shows the loading spinner and then the tab crashes. This issue is blocking my work and needs to be fixed as soon as possible.

I don't know how to fix it.The scenario is as follows:1) I created components, for example a button.2) I created a bunch of files where I plugged in this library and successfully use it.3) I updated the background color and rounding values (Variables) of the button.4) I saved the changes5) Now I expect that by synchronizing (updating) the files with the library, the changes should be pulled into the layouts, but the changes are not pulled. Moreover, if I copy a component from the library and paste it into a file to which the library is connected, Figma writes that I have a non-updated component in the file and that it needs to be updated. Clicking on update component, the settings are reset to the old ones. I attach a video, I hope someone can help =)

A sudden invoice for my current month is missing from invoice. I have attached the screenshot  to understand that the invoice is not generated for the month of September. Please help 

I noticed that Figma has a feature in the WatchOS 11 design kit, as seen at 00:09 here: https://www.figma.com/release-notes/?title=new-apple-ui-kitsIt’s a circular path that has controls for growing and shrinking it along the circle. How do I create this from scratch, I can’t seem to find any tools that support it.  

While using Figma Make, it will occasionally stop processing midway through completing a prompt. The updates stop, but there is no error, so it’s not very clear whether the work has been completed or not. Sometimes if I move onto the next prompt, it will finish the changes before moving on, or I found if I instruct it to “complete the update,” it will pick back up where it left off. This is typically for more involved prompts. Easy enough to work around, but it needs better messaging and/or error recovery. 

When I open any design file in Figma desktop app or the browser, I don’t see the feature Figma Make anywhere. I have full seat plan, and it was there before. I also have updated the app recently. 

Extremely frustrated here, I did everything correctly. Now it’s just a waiting game. What’s taking so long with this? Been waiting for over 3 hours.  

Running into an issue where I tried to connect to supabase through figma make. However now it’s saying connection lost(attachment 1) and the delete button does not work (attachment 2), will only let me authorize, however authorize only takes me to this page(attachment 3)  with no changes. Any help with this would be much appreciated! I got an email at the beginning of this month saying my Figma education subscription will expire at the end of the month and I need to renew it. After trying, I got another email saying I renewed my subscription, but two days later I got another email saying it didn't renew. Now when I visit the email links, I see that some say I'm already subscribed to the education subscription and some are waiting for an action, so I want to know if it's been renewed or not.

I’m new to Figma make so I want to make sure the pre-existing libraries are not ruined by me playing around with Figma make. When I click in Figma make on the book and I select a library and click on rewrite styles. It will only re-write the style of my Figma make or changes that I make in Figma make in terms of style will be reflected back on the original library? Because if it’s bi-directional I won't use it, but if not, I would very much like my Figma make to have the same style as our product. Thank you all

Hi everyone 👋I’m working on a project where I’d like to place two separate PDFs (each with text) into different panes inside Figma — kind of like a side-by-side document viewer. Is there any way to add a PDF (or images of the PDF pages) so that Figma can read the text itself (OCR-style), instead of it just being a flat image? Can Figma Make (or any plugin) highlight sections of the PDF text if I search or ask for something? If OCR or highlighting isn’t possible natively, are there recommended plugins, workarounds, or integrations that can help (for example, extracting the text and keeping it synced with the PDF pages)? Has anyone done something similar in Figma or knows the best way to approach it?Thanks a lot 🙏
