Hello Figma Support Team,I am experiencing a severe display bug with the Auto Layout feature in the Figma Desktop App on Windows 11.The Problem: After recently updating to Windows 11, the Auto Layout configuration panel (Direction, Spacing, Padding, etc.) does not appear in the right-hand Design panel, even when a correctly set-up Auto Layout frame is selected.Key Details: The file is definitely using Auto Layout; the internal elements resize according to the existing rules when the frame is adjusted. The Auto Layout settings appear and work perfectly when the same file is opened in the web browser version of Figma. I have already tried the following troubleshooting steps without success:Restarting the app and the computer.Completely uninstalling and reinstalling the Figma Desktop App.This issue seems to be a display bug specific to the Desktop App on my Windows 11 environment.Could you please look into this bug and advise on a fix or include it in a future update? I want to keep the variants and icons name same because it is coming from other component set. Their names are already defined for easy access when we try to find that element.

When exporting lots of different sized creative assets, Figma occasionally adds an additional 1px horizontal white line below and to the right of exported frames (JPEG) This occurs even if the artwork is on whole pixel x and y co-ordinates?Our team corrects this issue by scaling down the assets by -0.01 pixels on both dimensions and exports again, but it appears there is a miscalculation occurring on export, and the frames are being exported incorrectly and at a larger size (Additional pixel on both edge)?  Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.   

I have followed all the steps to verify my institutional email address and received a satisfactory response, but at first I thought the account would be created at the end of the process, but that was not the case. I created an account with my institutional email address, but I cannot see the educational plan; I am still on the standard plan.

One of my design files is missing, and this file is very important to me since it contains all my design work. I am the only file owner, and I didn’t delete my file, and I am using the right account to access it.I recently tried to access it through my browsing history, but it now says I need to request access, which is really strange because I’m the only owner of this file. After I clicked “Request Access,” I did not receive a notification because I am the only person who can access the file. I just opened it last Monday. Hello,I am facing a problem with my Figma prototype project, which I have embedded on Behance.The issue is that none of the links for external web pages are working on Behance. When I click on a link, it's as if I clicked on plain text. I have checked the links in the Figma prototype, and they are working perfectly there.I have already checked my links—they are accurate—and I have looked for solutions online but haven't found anything helpful.I have read online that the embedding code might be the source of the problem, but I am unable to verify this. I have also checked the sharing settings. One more thing to note: in the edit mode on Behance, the links are working.If anyone knows anything that could help, I am willing to provide the embedding code if that would assist in troubleshooting.Thank you!

Hey everyone,I’ve been using Figma Make to build my website and noticed that it generates a lot of React code with many components. I have a few questions: Is there a way to export or download the entire project as a .zip file, instead of manually copy-pasting the code into my local environment? Since I don’t need all the React code, is there a way to export only the design, or better yet, convert or export the Figma Make project into a Figma Design project? In Figma Design, we can use plugins like Builder.io — are plugins like that also available for Figma Make? Would really appreciate any guidance from anyone. Thanks!

Hey y'all, I feel like I'm losing my mind. I just added a user to my team account, when I meant to swap their seat with another user who was no longer using it. So now I have this unused seat I'm going to be billed for - and I can't find any way to remove it. I've googled and chatted with their AI bot. Can anyone point me to where I can remove an unused seat so I'm not billed for it?Can someone from figma also please explain the decision to hide this UX and make it so unclear?

I am seeing this, reliably, after every revision in my make prototype. Sometimes multiple times between revisions. I am like 770 prompts deep and this is a pretty complex front-end, so maybe it has to do with size/memory or something? My connection is fine and I don’t seem to have the problem on new prototypes.

Hey everyone, I’m looking for a plugin or any kind of workaround that would allow me to use the Bulgarian Cyrillic character set of SF Pro in Figma. The font itself supports localized variants for Cyrillic (including Bulgarian), but Figma seems to default to the Russian Cyrillic version — which makes some of the letters (like “б”, “д”, “и”, “й”, “л”, “п”, “т”) appear in the wrong form. I’ve checked all available settings, but I couldn’t find an option to choose the correct localization or enable OpenType features related to language-specific alternates. Does anyone know of a plugin, workaround, or hidden setting that could fix this?It would be amazing if there was a way to tell Figma to use the Bulgarian localization of SF Pro automatically. Thanks in advance!

Hi Figma Team,I recently upgraded my team to a Professional plan and successfully paid for the first month. When I was about to renew the subscription for the next month, I noticed that a viewer account in my team had automatically been assigned a Dev Mode seat, even though they only had viewing access. I immediately removed that seat, but the billing page still shows a charge for that user (along with my own seat and another one). I don’t want to pay for those extra seats since they were never intended to have Dev Mode access. Could you please help me remove these unexpected charges and ensure only my main seat remains active for renewal? Thanks in advance for your help! 🙏

My education verification for the Figma Student Plan failed with the message “Verification Exceeded Limit for Student Plan.”I think it happened because I tried to submit the verification form several times when it didn’t go through before.Could someone help reset the verification limit or review my request manually?

I have a complex design with lots of mobile app screens and their variants, which are organised into frames with auto layout. When I handover the designs to the developers, it is absolutely crucial for me to have the ability to have a link that directly opens and focuses any nested frame on the canvas, not only the top level frame.Is there any way to achieve this? I found some users talking about “link to frame” functionality (right-click the selected frame and selecting “Copy/paste as” > “Link to frame”, but I do not see any “link to frame option” in my Figma desktop app nor the web app. It seems like this feature has been discontinued in favour of “Copy link to the whole page” feature (using CMD+L shortcut).I really do not want to ungroup the frames because I will loose the ability to group them automatically into sections which are adjusting their width and height automatically based on their content, because the content itself is highly dynamic, (the visibility of the child fram

I created Component 1 with multiple size variants, then made another component called Component Test that contains Component 1. When I duplicate a Component Test instance and switch the nested Component 1 to a different variant, the height doesn’t update correctly. Why is the nested component’s auto layout height not behaving as expected?

Hi, I’m looking for a way to add metadata to component instances. I know we can add some configuration descriptions to the main component or its variants,but what I need is a way to add metadata to individual instances. Here’s an example of what I’m trying to do:In the component library, I create a select box/dropdown component.- Then, in the final design file (which is connected to the library), I place an instance of the dropdown and label or comment on it as “Type select option.”, to document it how the dropdown component is being used in this specific case.- I also want to attach a spreadsheet, document, or some kind of text where I can explain the list of options in the “Type select option” dropdown. Is there any way to do something like this in Figma other than just using annotations or comments?Any walk around / tricks / tips will be very helpful too! :)Ideally, it could be readable by MCP, but even if not, I’m looking for any solution that helps achieve this goal.

Hi everyone,I’m having a strange issue with one component in my design system.Here’s the full context and timeline of what’s happening: I noticed that a Button component is missing from the Assets panel in other linked files. I checked the design system file and the component exists and looks fine. The library is linked correctly to my working file, and all other components appear as expected. I even tried re-publishing the entire design system, but nothing changed. I tried inserting a new instance of the button manually from the design system file. It shows as linked to the main component, but it still doesn’t appear in the Assets panel. When I modify the main Button component and publish updates, the instances in my file don’t update, while all the other components in the system do. If I right-click the Button component and choose “Publish selected component”, it appears under the “Invalid components” section, with the note “unused properties.” Everything else in the library
