Hey @Devendra_Rabari - is this still happening for you? That does looks strange.
Some questions:
Is this happening with one font, or multiple?
Is it just one block of text this affects?
Do you see this happening on both the desktop app and web browser version of Figma?
If you still run into this, can you try duplicating the file this is happening on – can you see if the text still renders oddly when you work on a copy?
The problem is still happening. When I share my screen during a meeting, my words look wrong after the meeting. But if I turn my computer off and on again, it’s okay.
This issue affects all fonts and files.
The problem mainly affects subheadings, while main headings stay the same.
I hope Figma can be of some help. To me that feels like a font conflict somewhere.
If someone on your team has an older version of a used font, or one that is downloaded from somewhere else, or unlicensed, things can get funky. Basically if you are trying to modify the brakes on a 1970 Chevrolet with parts from a 2024, things are going to go wonky not just in the brakes.
USUALLY the recommendation is that everyone removes the offending font from their machine and all re-install from the same font file. But what I don’t understand is how this is happening to you with ALL fonts?! I have to defer to Figma for helping you. I’m sorry, I wish I could do more.
Maybe, maybe that is some help in where there might be an issue?
Thanks for this! I took a look at the community file preview + a copy of the file in Figma, and didn’t see this happening on my end with any text. I think this indicates some type of local problem. When I say local, I mean there may be something unique happening to the users that do see this (and not everyone who uses Figma).
I don’t know what exactly that could be, but since you mentioned restarting helps, it is something that can be ‘reset’
The font seems to be “Titillium Web” in the example you’ve shown, but since you mentioned it happens on all fonts you use, I don’t think it’s font-specific. Have you installed any new fonts recently, or can think of any changes you’ve made outside of Figma?
Also, can you confirm if you were able to try the desktop app or another web browser and see if this still happens for you then?
I don’t think I made any changes recently. Also, I installed the desktop app and everything seems good right now. Let me use it for a few days, and if I spot something, I’ll get back to you.
