Figma Make’s AI tool is clearly improving but on our dime. We have limited credits that are used up when the AI makes and error, identifies a better way to proceed, produces updates and changes that don.t work. The user then has to create a new propt that describes the problem while the ai tries another approach that still doesn’t work. That alone is not sop bad, but when it quickly runs your out of credits it feels like we are paying for training the AI. As the Program Chair for a college with several courses were we train students to use Figma this creates a real problem. What can you recommend tohelp with this issue?

Figma Make and AI credits issue
I want to add a couple of observations I made as a follow to my OP. Looking at my credit use for a series of fixes where my only addition to the promp was “same issue no change” Each time the AI ran it charged 120 credits and still it didn’t fix the error it created.
Figma Make is absolutely atrocious and it feels like the AI is getting worse. It tells me to give it explicit instructions… I do… then it goes rogue, and then when I ask why it did that it openly admits to lying and doing whatever it wanted. The LLM of Claude that it is using is truly terrible which is odd given how relatively “good” and “competent” the latest version of Claude is.
I’m summarizing here, but it’s BY FAR the most frustrating AI I’ve ever used. And just burning through credits with it’s mistakes and fabrications.

Figma: COOL BEANS I JUST TOOK A WILD GUESS AND DID WHATEVER I WANTED GOOD LUCK REVERTING EVERYTHING!!
Me: Why did you ignore my persistent and explicit instructions.
Figma: Oh no! You’re right. I’m sorry. I just lied to you again and panicked and deleted 10 files. Do you remember what they were?
I’m at my wits end with this product. They are NOWHERE NEAR ready to start charging money for this nonsense.
