Hi,I have been unable to create a new project. It’s just showing the loading pop up with no action. Tried it on apps, browsers, and mobile browsers showing the same thing. Tried it on different network also the same. I’m on the enterprise plan and was a manager for our team’s workspace.Please check  Thanks!Edit: added the plan info

Hi everyone,I used to see a helpful automatic prompt "Find more like [layer name]" whenever I pasted an image into Figma, which made selecting similar layers really convenient. However, recently when I paste images, this prompt no longer appears.Has anyone experienced this?Is there a new setting that controls this feature or has it been removed/changed in a recent update?Also, are there any shortcuts or alternatives to trigger this manually?Thanks in advance for any insights! 

Black screen when I open the app, but it's fine in the web version. Reinstalling the app and clearing the cache didn't help 

Hi,I recently purchased the professional subscription and have a Full seat. I am the Admin.I am unable to see Dev mode button in Inspect but Shift+D toggles to Dev mode. How do I turn on Dev mode in Inspect panel?Cheers, Shylaja

I’ve recently been using a typeface in Figma and noticed that when stylistic alternates are selected that kerning is no longer applied between stylistic alternates and default glyphs.I have included an image below which shows text rendered in InDesign (with the typeface’s default kerning options) in black and the text rendered in Figma in red. In the left example, the characters are spaced exactly as expected using the kerning from the type designer. They are the same in both applications. In the right example, the red text rendered in Figma no longer applies the kerning found between the alternate lowercase a and o, or the alternate lowercase t and lowercase o – even though these kerning pairs are present in the typeface and render in InDesign. If I overlay the black and red text samples, the left example (no alternates) aligns perfectly, whereas the text containing alternates does not.I’ve checked several other OpenType typefaces that I own that contain stylistic alternates and the i

Hey,Till yesterday Github Push was working fine in Figma Make. Just now when I tried to push the new changes, its showing me a “Failed” error. So I disconnected and tried to create a new repository, but its showing an error again - “Failed to create repository”Could you please let me know whats the issue? and pass this to the team?ITS KINDA URGENT UPDATE:The repo is being created but its not getting connected. When I try to create a new repo, I still get the same error but when I check my GITHUB, the repo seems to have been created

I’m wondering if any of you have come across this issue and possibly know a fix for it.We have this Tree column component in our library, as you can see it has indents:But as soon as I place it in the specific file I’m working in, the indents disappear. We also have a Cell/Tree component of which the properties also do not work anymore. To change levels (indents) for example. The weird thing is that this only occurs in this specific file, it works perfectly fine in other files. I’ve had this issue before with another component and other file. The only way to work around it (that I know of) is to copy everything to a new file, but I don’t want to do that now.All libraries are up to date. I’ve tried restarting Figma, my laptop, removing/adding the library. 

Hi!  Two weeks ago we tried get_design_context in local MCP Server in order to generate JSF and Primefaces code from a Figma design, using a selection in Figma Desktop app.  It worked quite well. But now, when I try to do the same, it does not work from VSCode Agent. I kep getting this error:   If i try to use the remote MCP server, I get another error:   In spanish, it says that “there is a problem with the parameters”. Is there any problem with this Tool get_design_context? Am I doing something wrong? Thanks in advance

Hi! I’m having an issue with PDF exports from Figma.When I use an image with a gradient (raster JPG) as a background for my file and export it as a PDF, the background looks very low-quality in Google Chrome even though I use the high-quality export settings.In Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Edge the same PDF looks completely fine.I also tried to do the same design from another program, and that PDF looks good in Chrome. So the quality issue happens only with PDFs exported from Figma.Here is an example of how the PDF from Figma looks in Chrome:An here is the same PDF in Microsoft Edge: 

Will the “Font changed to italics” issue ever get solved or we’ll have to keep trying makeshift solutions, which has eventually stopped working for me :((Context - I am using Gotham typeface in one of my projects and somehow randomly the medium weight of this typeface gets changed to italics when i don’t even have the italic style in my font pack..Sometimes I tried uninstalling Figma, clearing its cache and the issue would get resolved by clicking on the text again. But now this method is not working.I would be very grateful if someone guides me out of this font issueThanks

1. Issue DescriptionAll fonts and text display correctly in Design Mode. However, when running the prototype in Presentation (Preview) Mode, the text fails to render properly and appears as grey or black rectangular blocks. 2. Occurrence Pattern The prototype displays normally immediately after starting Presentation Mode. The text corruption occurs exactly when navigating to a specific frame. Once the issue is triggered, all text throughout the prototype (including previous and subsequent screens) renders as blocks. 3. Environment & Diagnostic Checks Environment: The issue persists in both the Figma Desktop App and Web Browsers (e.g., Chrome). Font Status: All local and web fonts are correctly installed/linked. There are no missing font warnings in Design Mode. Other: This does not appear to be a temporary loading lag. I am working on a project & any frames I have created today are not rendering properly. I am getting blocks of colour instead of the actual content. I have checked on desktop app & web. My colleague confirmed that they get the same issue on the same frames. How can I fix this?I’ve attached the frame in the design file & the frame in present - HELP! 

Help! this is happening to me now. All the images in my file disappeared, both web and desktop, and in FigJam. baffled!

Figma has been distant from users lately, and while I understand that they’re expanding their scope, the contact support button has become completely unresponsive. Here’s what happened: I transferred ownership of a file in a project from User A to User B, since B would now be managing it. B then removed A from the sharing settings and restricted access to invited users only. However, A still had access to the file and, assuming it was no longer needed, moved it to the trash. B was shocked to find the file was no longer accessible. When A tried to recover it from their trash, it wasn’t there. B also couldn’t find it in their trash. Now the file is gone — not visible in either A’s or B’s trash, and inaccessible to both. The question is: where is the file now?And I am here is community is because As i mentioned The contact support button doesn’t work.BTW although this ask seems chilled, I am losing my mind on where the file is because i have a deadline to meet.

I just made a loom recording it: 

File from drafts disappeared. The name of the file was “DP2 Campaign” but unfortunately i dont have link to this file anywhere. This file disappeared completely, its not in recents, not in trash, not in projects and not in recently closed tabs, its just gone. I tried everything from the community topics with same problem, but nothing seems to work. Is there a way to recover it since it was very important project file?Thank you!

I attempted to connect Figma Make to our project’s GitHub repository and now I’m permanently stuck with this approval pending status message. My admins already approved the connect request (we verified that), but Make is stuck on pending for approval. There are no option to cancel the request, refresh, create new request or anything else in that matter.How could I possibly recover from this? Permanent approval needed status message
