Hi, I’m unable to sign in to my Figma account. The issue is that the authentication code (for verification/login) is being sent to my old Gmail account, which has become inactive. I no longer have access to that email, and I also don’t remember the password to recover it.

Because of this, I’m completely locked out of my Figma account.
Is there any way to verify my identity or recover access without using that old email?

Thanks for your help!

Hey @remya,  I’m really sorry to hear you’re locked out of your account. I know how stressful that can feel!

For security reasons, Figma can only send login verification codes to the email address currently linked to your account.
Do you happen to have your old email set up to forward messages to your new one? If so, try resetting your password, that should let you bypass Google’s single sign-on and log back into your Figma account, where you can then update your email address.

Still, if your emails aren’t being forwarded, I’d recommend reaching out directly to our Support team here. They’ll be able to take a closer look with you.
(Unfortunately, I can’t handle account-specific issues here in the Forum for privacy and security reasons. Thanks for your understanding!)

You’ll need to contact Figma Support and explain that your old email is inactive. They can verify your identity using account details or recent activity and help you regain access or update your email.
