i’m developing a plugin to help product manager and developer to share information with figma.the information will bind to figma node. and the information maybe  some rich text content.for user experience we need to store the information temporay in user’s local machine. but figma.clientStore has the limitation of 5MB peer plugin. so, my question is how can i store data more than 5MB  I tried indexeddb but i got err looks like figma plugin can not use it.

Hey Peeps,Right now my Figma Make is connected to one of my Supabase account which has two of my projects. But I have created a new Supabase account for newer projects, but Figma Make is not allowing me to disconnect the current integration and login or connect to another supabase account.Is this a limitation or can this be fixed with the current capabilities and features.​@Tom Reem Kindly help, ASAP!

My website (myhyroxplan.com), built with Figma Make, is not being indexed on Google because the sitemap ( https://myhyroxplan.com/sitemap.xml ) returns a 404 error. In my project, I have both a valid  sitemap.xml  file and a  robots.txt  file placed under the  /public  directory, correctly referencing the sitemap. However, this structure does not expose the sitemap to the public internet at the root URL, so Google Search Console cannot read it.Please advise how I can serve my  /public/sitemap.xml  file directly at  https://myhyroxplan.com/sitemap.xml  for proper indexing.Is there a supported method or workaround to enable static file hosting at the root, or is this a current limitation of Figma Make for custom domains? Thank you in advance for your support

And yes I am yelling!Right in the middle of working, the variables collection menu went crazy.The collections are not collapsible. The entire left column is not collapsible!I had to go full screen just to see the groups in my collections and they are not collapsible. Basically it is a nightmare trying to even find things to make a selection, let alone work on thousands of variables!Clearing cache is of no use. All the basic troubleshooting is of no use. And I have work to do! I normally don;t get bent...but...I. Have. Work. To. Do.Figma what did you do?!I figure we can tack this on to yesterday’s ticket of…  And NO Figma Support...I will not upload a video!

I’m having an issue where my prototype layout looks completely fine on most devices (multiple laptops, VMs, and colleagues’ computers), but on a few specific systems the design appears squished — text lines overlap, spacing collapses, and some buttons even disappear or get pushed out of the frame.All screens are using the same Figma link.Has anyone else experienced this or found a reliable way to make prototypes render consistently across different screen resolutions? I really need to use these prototypes for user testing, for god’s sake! 😩 

In the past, when you created Colour Styles and Text Styles, you could (along with identically named components) swap them out for each other by using the “Swap library” functionality in the Libraries panel. That functionality still works, and is great. However, Variables don’t seem to swap over in the same manner, which makes some sense as they’re not detected by the “Swap library” panel currently. Is there any way you can switch out Variables in batch when swapping libraries so they update everything eg colour, padding margin, booleans etc, or am I unable to use Variables for anything outside of local styling for now? For context, I’m creating a design system for a white-label product that can swap the associated branding on the fly depending on the target client. Naturally, colours, fonts, logos etc need to be switched out, and they work fine with the older method of library definition, but Id like to be able to specify padding, margins and other similar properties as part of the br

Hi guys!I’m working on an app where at the last minute the font was changed. It was easy to swap… only the new font (Cooper Hewitt) has a wildly different vertical placement in the bounding box. See how it aligns close to the top: For the app launch for dev this was a relatively easy solve, as you can adjust the vertical alignment. But moving forward with the project I could really do with the Figma designs not all looking misaligned!Vertical trim seems the only option. But the paddings within my components were based off of the previous untrimmed font. Which means I would need new spacing measurements, which is bad as then the devs would need to redo all those, or ignore my new measurements. Not great outcomes for a continuing project.I’ve been considering using a font editor to manually adjust the vertical metrics solely for use in Figma. I don’t know whether that’s legal or possible!Has anyone had a similar experience? Or do you guys have suggestions on how you would handle this con

Hello. I am working with gif banners in figma and use Gif Export plugin, today this plugin stopped working and i can't finish my work. Why Figma can't export gif files? Do we have any other chances to export gif from figma?

I have designed a website using Figma sites. The alignment is perfect in the preview mode. However the published site looks distorted. Common problems like center aligned objects moving to the left (I saw other users mention the same concern) Kindly help me fix this at the earliest.

Figma provides a URL https://desktop.figma.com/mac/version.txt which should have the current version string to help sysadmins with update automation. That URL seems to have stale information at the moment (125.9.10 instead of 125.10.5 as of this posting). Can someone at Figma please look into this?

Hi,I'm trying to build a prototype using Figma Make from a number of screens I have.For example, I have a project with a large number of screens, and I want to create a prototype for it. I started with 3 screens.Normal screen (closed menu), a screen with a pop-up, and a screen with an open menuEvery time I insert screens into Figma Make it changes my design completely.When I try to be specific (for example, make the buttons in a system of hover and selected states) Figma Make deletes all the screen content and makes me a style for 3 buttons... I want a prototype with style.When I ask to restore the content that was deleted for me, it returns, but without the previous request.When I tried to simply insert one screen, it finally uploaded my screen as it is. But all the buttons are distorted, out of the frame. Everything is messy :(I have components, I have titles, I have layer names. Recently figma updated rate-limits, and i need orientation/insights on how to handle the implication of that in my project.So, our project used figma REST API to extract a JSON and images from design journeys on figma. Using that, we validate a series of internal rules on how to develop screens journeys for our organization.The thing is, this solution is used by a lot of designers , and they dont have the dev mode or a seat that allows them to make more than 6 requisitions/month (and they need way more than that).The only solution for that would be run the application on a personal token that has a higher seat? Or is there a way that i can upgrade the rate-limit of the application itself? All designers that use this application making a seat-upgrade would bring us much cost. I’m trying to understand if i have any alternatives here. I saw something about the API Tier having different rate-limits. Is that something i can work with or change? Hi,Since the latest major update, we’ve been seeing a visual glitch with component instances in our Organization.Almost all instances initially render with the default state of the component (or nested instances), instead of showing the overridden values.
