Could someone please clarify how Dev Seats work?
I was invited to a Figma project and used Dev Mode for three days (I wasn’t paying for any subscription at this point). After that, my designer told me they would need to pay extra for me to continue using it. After doing some research, I ended up subscribing to a Figma Professional plan because it seemed to have a dev seat included (probably a mistake?). Simultaneously my colleague accidently hit “approve” button on his end and his billing went up for adding an additional seat to their team.
I now have access to Dev Mode again, but we’re not sure why. It could be because my colleague accidentally paid for the extra seat, or because I started paying for subscritpion/plan.
Could someone explain how this is actually supposed to work? At the moment, it seems like we might both be paying for something unnecessarily, and we’re not sure which subscription is actually responsible for my access.
