I’m currently structuring a design system in Figma and need to design screens for three different sizes (desktop, tablet, and mobile). To streamline this, I’m setting up variable modes for each screen size.I have separate libraries: one called Foundations and another called Core. In Foundations: I’ve created variables for screen sizes and other recurring dimensions, like internal content areas. In Core: I’m building a 'Content Card' component with specific variables for its width at each breakpoint. The issue is that when I apply a variable mode, I have to select the desired mode twice—once for each collection (Foundations and Content Card).I’m looking for a more efficient way to handle this. My goal is to reduce manual work and repetition. Since I need to create all versions for every part of the project—including navigable prototypes—I want to minimize clicks and keep the component volume as low as possible.

Hello Figma Support Team,I’m requesting help to recover ownership or admin access for a Figma file that I previously owned.I originally created and owned this file, and it is saved within my project. Recently, I transferred ownership to another team member (Nil Sakariya) for collaboration purposes. Hello, I used my college e-mail to register for Figma and after graduating my e-mail has been deactivated. I can't log in nor forward e-mails to my new address so I can't access Figma anymore. 

Although I closed my account about a week ago, I am still receiving billing invoices at the email address ‘[redacted customer PII - DJV 12/26/25]’. I would appreciate your assistance in resolving this matter.

Hello! I can’t log into my account because I forgot my password, and the email address linked to the account is blocked. What should I do?

I changed devices from Mac 13 pro with Intel to Mac 30 pro with M1 chip and all plugins stopped working.Is not that they don’t load or give me an error, I click on the plugin and it doesn’t do anything, it’s like a dead-end button now.Already:- restarted device- cleared cache- tried incognito mode & on desktop app- deleted and re-added all pluggins I only ever used PDF to design/figma and I’ve never had issues with the old device, it never worked as soon as I started using Mac with M1 chipConsole log even when I click to start the plugin the console stays put, no new logs load

Hi, I hope you can help me! I don't have a laptop at the moment, so I want to learn Figma by working on it from my tablet. However, I’ve already run into a problem—I can’t figure out how to delete layers. In the menu that appears after tapping on a layer, there’s no delete button, so I don’t know what to do. Hello,I was charged for a "Professional Team (Monthly)" subscription a few hours ago.However, no Professional team appears in my account.I only see one team marked as [Free], and there is no Admin or Billing menu available.I have never created another team, and it seems the subscription was not properly attached to my account.I would like to:1) Cancel the subscription immediately2) Request a full refund, since the subscription is unusablePayment was made today, and I contacted support within a few hours.Thank you. 

I am writing to report an issue regarding email notifications for file access requests.When I share my Figma files with others and they request access, I am not receiving any email notifications from Figma about these requests. Because of this, it sometimes takes a long time for me to know that someone has requested access to my files.I would like to receive an email notification whenever someone sends a request to access my Figma files. I have already checked my spam folder and verified that email notifications are enabled in my Figma settings.Could you please help me resolve this issue or let me know if there are any additional settings I need to enable?

Hi, I have been using Figma Make, and I used to be able to see the code of the files in <> Code tab and edit the files, but one day I clicked something and i can no longer see the contents of the files just the file names. I would like to be able to see the code and edit, hoping someone can help. I am sure its a quick fix, unless others have experienced similar situations. 

Hi, my original question was going to be:  I've been struggling with forcing the Figma Desktop App to work in sRGB. I mean the entire app, not just the project preferences. Attached is what I mean. Image 1 is web-based Figma (Chrome -- Enabled Force sRGB and Forced Colors Flags) and Image 2 is Desktop App (Win 11.. Notice that even my Close X button is not real red -- all other apps don't do this) I've seen similar issue with other Electron based apps like VSCode and was able to fix it by appending --force-color-profile srgb in the shortcut Target to the exe. Tried it for Figma to no avail: "C:\Users[USER]\AppData\Local\Figma\app-125.11.6\Figma.exe" --force-color-profile srgb I have not enabled HDR on my monitor although it support it. No other color management or profiles added via Windows. Any Idea how to fix the issue and force sRGB? So after more tinkering I found a solution:Right-click on the shortcut (desktop/taskbar/start menu folder -- whichever you use) Compatibility tab →  ✅ 

Please cancel my subscription, I tried to cancel it but it wasn’t clear what I’ve done , I need my money back, it’s an emergency

Hello i have been trying to transition from the free version to educational version using my university email and other id information but figma keeps giving me error saying that the data are not enough or i have given something in other language even though there is only English. i have tried giving my id card with both sides displaying my full name and picture with university logo, i tried giving a screen shot with my university sis menu with all information, even with list of course i took with their marks but nothing works.

I have down graded my plan to starter plan in 23/12/2025 and it still deduct from my credit card and i got a message from the bank in 29/12/2025 that the monthly plan has been updated even when i cancelled it 

I’ve lost access automatically to an important Figma file . When I try to open it, I see this message: “Hmm, we couldn't find that one. This design file may have been deleted, moved, or made unavailable. Try reaching out to the file owner.” This is a critical design file for us, and we urgently need to recover it. Hey there, I hope this one isn’t too obvious but I am finding myself very stuck.What I am trying to do, is set up my file so that when I am hovering over an image situated on the left, a different image will appear next to it on the right, and when no longer hovering on the original image, the image on the left would disappear. This is a scrolling page, so would hope that both images would scroll up and down with the page. Thank you!

Is there any way I can make this Dynamic Pattern?It starts with Bigger Dots and Ends with Smaller Dots or Vice Versa. I have made this so far.. 

Hi, I’m experiencing the issue below.When I hold Ctrl (Windows) / Command (Mac) and drag one crop handle, the opposite side auto-adjusts to keep the aspect ratio, so both sides move together.Before, I could crop only one side freely. Now it feels like the crop is forced to be symmetric or the image is getting “squeezed” (Ctrl behaves like “squeezing the image”), which breaks a fast workflow.I’m wondering whether this behavior changed in a recent update, or if it’s a bug.

Hi,The Auto Layout settings section has disappeared from the right-hand panel in the desktop version of the app.I’ve thoroughly checked the entire panel, and the Auto Layout section is definitely missing.I then opened the web version, and everything is there — the section appears as usual.So technically, Auto Layout is working: the text inside behaves as expected, and I see the notification that Auto Layout was created. But the controls for it are missing from the right panel in the desktop version.Could you please help?Thanks in advance!
