Hi Team,

I am not able to see the components while mirroring my work in Figma. I have cross-checked on both iPhone XR & 17. Also, I have tried the following things:

- Uninstalled & installed the Figma app on the phone.

- Restarted my iphone

I am attaching 2 screenshots: one showing the issue & the other showing the original.

Please look into this matter ASAP, as it is hampering my day to day work.

Thanks.

Same issue for me, and followed the same steps as OP. iPhone 15 iOS 26.3.

Hey everyone, thank you all for flagging this!

To help us narrow this down, could you share a bit more context?

  • Is this happening with one specific file/frame, or across multiple files?

  • Does it only affect components, or are images/text layers impacted as well?

  • If you duplicate the affected frame, does the issue persist in the duplicate?

  • Does reloading the prototype or disconnecting/reconnecting mirroring temporarily fix it?

  • Does the black square (or missing content) appear in the same spot every time?

  • Are you using any specific prototype settings (overlays, fixed position elements, interactive components, etc.)?

  • Are these components nested inside other components or using variants?

  • Is this happening on both Wi-Fi and mobile data?

The more patterns we can spot, the faster we can pinpoint what’s going on. Thank you for your help!

Just to let you know that this resolved itself for me within about 6 hours of posting

Hey @Alex Douglas, really appreciate you coming back to share that update! I’m glad to hear it resolved on its own.

If you happen to remember, did you restart Figma or your device at any point before it started working again? That detail could be helpful for the team.

For anyone else still running into the mirroring issue, please check my previous reply and share as much detail as you can. The more context we have, the easier it is to investigate properly.

Thanks again everyone for flagging this!
