I’ve run into a weird problem. Does anyone know what happened, please?I have a slides document and something has happened to some images in this document:The images became pixelated in my document. In the layers panel, the icon for these images changed from the usual image icon to just a rectangle. In the fill panel, these still showed as normal images would. When I export the slides to PDF, these images export as a solid colour rectangle. Not all the slides in my document were affected — but wherever a slide was affected, this happened to all the images in that particular slide.Some context:I dragged and dropped the images into the document, did not use the place tool.No masks were applied on the images.I did not rasterize or flatten anything, but I’m also assuming I’ve hit some shortcut by mistake.I’ve replaced all the affected images and the slides export normally now, but does anyone know what might have caused this? Thank you!

Hey everyone,I’ve been testing a custom React component on a Figma Site (built with Figma’s new code components / figma:react), and I’m having trouble tracking clicks with Google Analytics 4 (GA4).Here’s what I’ve done so far: Added my GA4 Measurement ID (e.g. G-XXXXXXX) in Site settings → Analytics Confirmed that the gtag script is loading properly (I can see gtag() in the console) Added a simple component that fires an event on click: if (window.gtag) { window.gtag("event", "cta_button_click", { content_type: "cta_button", button_text: "Get Started", }); } The console shows the log correctly on click, but nothing appears in GA4 → Realtime → Events or DebugView. It feels like the event is being called in a sandboxed context where analytics can’t actually send data out — maybe due to how Figma Sites handle scripts or iframes?Has anyone managed to successfully track custom GA4 events inside Figma Sites yet?If yes, how did you make it work? My verification is done with SheeIDBut I don’t see an option to get the education plan, and I am still on the free plan still. I want to use figma pro as a student, but due to this I am unable to do so, help me find the solution. I don’t know where to go after the verification is done.  Dear Figma Support,I am encountering an error in Figma Make stating that my project is too large and suggesting I delete some files. The Request ID for this issue is: 8bcd0d77-5d9b-4902-850a-a1c432693ae1.The problem is that I cannot simply delete files, as doing so would break the completeness and functionality of my project. I need to keep all components and connections intact.Could you please advise on alternative solutions? The new copy link dropdown in the share window copies links without the proper file ID like https://www.figma.com/slides/null when it’s opened from the project and not within the file itself.

I've tried upgrading my figma plan to pro many times, but it always gives me an error message: "Sorry, we couldn't save your payment method." Respond in FIgma 

The Figma for VSCode extension currently blocks any VSCode shortcuts from executing if the Figma Design page is in focus. This is NOT a desirable occurrence and greatly hinders productivity. Need an urgent solution.

I’m having an issue. My manager upgraded my account to a full seat but in app it still shows I’m on the free plan. I cannot select any other team.

Hi everyone,I’ve been unable to use Figma Make for about 4 days now. I reached out to Support and a Product Specialist confirmed this is a known bug: "The issue you're experiencing seems to be related to a Make bug that our engineering team is actively investigating... this error message is not related to any AI credit limits."This seems to be account-specific. My main account (Professional Plan) is completely stuck, but a separate test account is working perfectly on the same PC/network. Is anyone else experiencing this bug? If you found a workaround to "reset" the account connection to Make, please let me know!

Hello,I wanted to log in with my education account but it’s not possible anymore since I lost access to my education E-mail. Is there any way to change the E-mail of the account to get access again? Or sent the code to another E-Mail?I submitted a request and my ticket number is #1799999 but I can’t see the request on this account when the AI sent me a link to check the status. Whenever I use the Glass Effect, I encounter the same problem. I create a frame, fill it with a color, and adjust the opacity. However, unwanted lines start appearing, even if I convert the frame into a component. This issue occurs every time, and I would like to understand the reason behind it and how to fix it.

Looking for a plugin that can be connected to Claude Code or GH Copilot that would allow our UX designers to prompt large refactors or layer naming (better than the auto layer naming tool that is there now). I saw https://www.figma.com/community/plugin/1609172343926725211But there are very few comments and 2 of the 3 or not great. 

When a designer has updated a design, what is the best way to express design updates through MCP to a model? I did not see any tool that would facilitate. Does anyone know if Figma will add versioning or diffs through an MCP tool? If not, is there an established best practice that like storing all the json data from get_design_context and get_metadata into a snapshot file to compare with when there are updates?

Hi everyone, I am fairly new at using Figma and I am running into an interaction issue on a thumbnail image tile component with an active and hover state. I replace the image on each instance by pasting a different image under the fill option. It shows the correct image when I manually switch between active and hover states on a frame but as soon as I prototype this it will always show the hover state image of the master component. It doesn`t change anything if I add the “while hovering” interaction on the instance instead of the master component. Any idea how to solve this would be much appreciated.

This account was recovered by our team. Ronny Barrios the old owner and now ex-employee was the owner of this account. The marketing team here shared documents of design on figma. Ronny quit on 3/14/2026, and was the owner of these files. However, the files are completely missing now and our team no longer has access to their current project. Is there a way to see if he deleted them with malicious intent when he quit to spite the company. If not what happened to them?
