hi wanted to increase our api rate limits we are currently using a PAT. 

Figma's Slice tool is deleting text from images when I save them. How can I fix this? I've tried everything, even saving as a PDF or the entire frame, as a PNG, etc.

I have about 6 components, all with roughly 7 instances each. In the image, the left column shows you the component/content items. The right gives you access to its image/video and all of it’s info.. pages and pages of info. I simply want to use the left menu to have the user click the component they’d like to view, and the area with the green box would display the default instances of that component. What am I missing? I’ve tried setting variable modes, setting variable..I’m trying to clean up a very old file that used a massive set of instances and pages to create this prototype. The prototype functionality seriously looks like spaghetti thrown on a wall.  I’ve tried variables and variants - a zillion experiments that have failed. If they were all instances of one component, easy-peazy but this has me stumped for some reason. Thankfully it’s Friday!How would you fine people go about achieving this?

I'm new to prototyping, so I'm sorry if this is a dumb question with a simple solution. I'm trying to animate a button, and I made the button as a component, and a variant for the hover state.It's a little hard to explain the issue, but I hope it's understandable. The issue I'm having is that, when you hover over it, the variant "moves" to the bottom right when you hover over the button, and I would like to make it look like it's expanding from the center.What it looks like right now:How I want it to move like (makes it look like it's expanding from the center):But right now, it looks like it's doing this:Again, I'm sorry if this is a dumb question... but I hope someone can help me.

Our team has started using Make quite heavily on the Enterprise plan, and while we know each full seat currently gets 4,250 credits per month, we haven’t been able to find any analytics or reporting within the admin interface.A few specific things I’m wondering: Is there any current workaround or API access to view usage across the organisation? Have any Enterprise teams received usage summaries or reports directly from Figma Support? Does anyone have early insight or indicative pricing for when Figma starts allowing additional AI credit purchases (mentioned for 2026)? I reached out to Figma Support and was told that there isn’t a way to track usage yet, and that credit overages aren’t enforced for full seats at the moment. I’d still love to hear how others are handling budget forecasting and usage visibility until more tools are released.Thanks in

My org is considering purchasing additional AI credits to pilot in a pay-as-you-go purchase. We have multiple cost centers in the org and need a way to create separate pools of credits for each cost center to manage. Is there a way to do that in the admin controls, maybe by user group? Having all additional AI credits in a company-wide pool doesn’t allow us to manage who and how much they can use.I do see how to restrict individual users from accessing the pool (in help center doc but not in my admin panel yet), but I don’t see a way to set a ceiling for how many credits an individual can use from the extra pool. Is that possible? 

Dear Figma,I’m currently facing an issue with Figma access and need help urgently.My lecturer shared a Figma file, but I can’t edit it because Figma requires me to verify my student status. I tried to complete the verification process, but it keeps showing this error message:“Verification limit exceeded.”Because of this, I’m unable to access the file properly and continue my work.I’ve already: Tried verifying again Logged out and logged back in Checked that my student email is correct Has anyone experienced this before, or does anyone know how to fix this issue quickly?Is there another way my lecturer can grant edit access without student verification?Any help would be greatly appreciated. I request to close an unpaid invoice as we no longer are using the plan for the invoice period. I was only hours late to downgrade my plan, it still shows that I need to pay for This month that is April but I don’t wish to as I have not used Figma for this month at all and won’t use it further. I have cancelled the subscription and also removed any seat assignments for the plan. No credits use or other usage of the plan have been done for this period of the invoice. Please help out for this issue by closing or voiding our invoice.Could a Figma Support Specialist please help with this issue and guide what to do here?Thankyou

When I changed my password, it didn't automatically log out of the account, the old password was still available, and when I logged in with the new password, it showed me a password error and told me after a few times that You've made too many recent attempts. Please tryagain later.

Hey team,This issue started last week. At first, it only happened when I tried to add a comment (whether typing or pasting text), and I assumed it would resolve itself. However, yesterday it also started happening when I tried to upload images, and now it’s affecting various actions randomly.This is happening on the Windows app, and it occurs across all documents (they open fine on desktop, but the issue persists in the app).I’ve already tried all the suggested troubleshooting steps—disabling multicursor, clearing cache, and everything the bot recommended—but nothing has worked. I also opened a support case yesterday and haven’t heard back from the Figma team yet.This is significantly impacting my work, as I’m losing hours each day dealing with it.Has anyone experienced something similar or have suggestions on what I could try next? 

Hi Team,Multiple users are facing issues with the Figma desktop application. After logging in successfully on the web version, when they try to open Figma on the desktop app, it prompts them to log in via a browser again. Even after logging in multiple times, the same issue persists.I have attached screenshots for your reference. Are bulk actions supported (delete, move, export files)? Can admins access or manage personal drafts, especially from deactivated users? What is the recommended process for transferring files during user offboarding? Is there a way to centrally review permissions (e.g. “Everyone can edit”)? Can we get an overview of guest users and their access? Does the API support reporting or automation for cleanup tasks?Any best practices for large-scale organization cleanup would also be appreciated.

Hi everyone,I wanted to share a situation I ran into and ask if anyone has had a similar experience or managed to get a refund.Our team has been on the Professional plan with 1 Full seat ($20/month). On March 12, I added 7 team members to our workspace intending to give them view/comment access only. I didn't realize that adding members defaults to Full seat (Editor) permission, which triggers billing at $20/seat per month.As a result, we were charged:- Prorated Full seats (Mar 12 - Apr 10, 7 seats): $149.68- Full seats (Apr 10 - May 10, 7 seats): $140.00- Total unexpected charge: $289.68Most of the 7 members never actually used Figma during this period. As soon as I identified the issue, I downgraded all of them back to Viewer on April 10.I've already reached out to Figma support requesting a refund, but I understand this may fall outside their standard policy. Has anyone successfully received a refund or account credit in a similar situation? Any advice on how to approach this would

I’m missing Figma Sans VF, Mono VF and Whyte. How do I install those?I’m new to figma slides. Just exploring the “How to use Figma Slides” template produced by Figma and I’m trying to follow along. I get to the text editing portion and I can’t edit any of the type. It says I need to swap typefaces. I can’t edit text unless I swap fonts because I’m missing the used fonts. If I change the font, I can edit. I’d like to correct this issue and have figma’s default fonts installed, however, I can’t seem to locate them or any mention of them on the Figma help, learn, or community support sites. Why wouldn’t they be installed with the desktop application, and how do I install them?Software:Figma Desktop App v126.1.2Windows 11

Hi, Our Figma annual plan renews on April 21 and I want to downgrade 9 members from Full seats to Dev seats before the renewal date. I want to make sure I'm doing this in the right order to avoid any additional monthly billing or access issues.My plan is to reassign each member individually on the Members page first, and then confirm the updated seat counts in the renewal dialog. Is this the correct approach, or should I adjust the seat counts in the renewal dialog first?Also, when I downgrade a member from Full to Dev, does the change take effect immediately or only at the next billing cycle?Thanks!

Hello,I am currently a student and using my university email address with Figma. However, I am experiencing an issue with my education verification and cannot access the Figma Education benefits.I already contacted SheerID regarding this matter. They informed me that my verification process was successfully completed on their side and that the status was forwarded to Figma. According to them, the issue is not on their end.At the same time, I am unable to re-submit my verification because SheerID only allows verification once every 365 days. Whenever I try again, I receive a message saying that I have already submitted a request.This leaves me in a situation where my student verification seems to have been lost or not properly processed by Figma.Could you please help me understand what might have gone wrong and how this issue can be resolved?I urgently need access to the Figma Education plan, as I am currently working towards completing my bachelor’s degree this year.Thank you in advanc

In my Toggle Switch component, I have a mix of properties (variants and booleans). I’m able to reorder the variants but it seems I cannot reorder the boolean. I want the order of my properties to be:Variant - “State”Boolean - “Label”Variant - “Label Position”Is this possible?
