Sometimes when I try to double click on an Arabic text box Figma hang and stop working, I tried to reload tab, I tried to click on another layer or object yet it’s still not working, the only way to solve this issue is to force quit Figma and start over again.

Anyone facing the same problem?

Hey ​@Mo Awwad , Celine from the Figma Community Support team here! Sorry to hear you're running into this, that definitely sounds disruptive to your workflow. We are not aware of this issue. Since force quitting and reopening Figma only seems to resolve the issue temporarily, here are a few additional things worth trying:

  • Clear the Figma cache: You can follow the steps for the desktop app here.
  • Try a different environment: If you're using the desktop app, try opening the same file in a supported browser (or vice versa) to see if the behavior persists.
  • Check whether it's file-specific: Does this happen across all files, or only in a particular file?

If the issue continues, we'd like to take a closer look. Please submit a bug report so our team can investigate further. When you do, please include:

  • A screen recording of the issue (with the full Figma window visible, if possible)
  • The URL of the affected file
  • Can View access for support-share@figma.com.
  • Your operating system and Figma desktop app/browser version
