I’m trying to understand how to help my designers produce Figma Make files that use our design system components and standards.If we were to enable Figma MCP server for my org, would that allow designers to constrain Figma Make to only use our design system?Or would we need to use an npm package or Make Kits for that?

Hi everyone,I'm trying to implement a tab-based navigation layout in Figma Sites below my hero section. I created the tabs in Design Library with component variants for active states and enabled them in my Figma Sites, but I'm struggling to make each tab link to and display its specific content section.Currently, the variants change visually, but they don't dynamically switch the corresponding content for each tab.What is the best way to implement a working tab structure in Figma Sites so that each tab loads its respective content when clicked? Is there a recommended approach using anchors, components, or another workaround?Would appreciate any guidance from anyone who has implemented tabs successfully in Figma Sites. Thanks!

I have never met a Figma branch conflict that I could resolve 😥 Not one.I’ve read all of the relevant help center articles (including this potentially outdated one that focuses on conflicts) and I’ve watched video tutorials, but none of them provide enough information. I understand what conflicts are and why they need to be resolved, I’ve done it in other programs, but I can’t figure out Figma’s particular UI for this process.I need help understanding this window: Is anyone aware of... anything anywhere tha

If the team owner is no longer employed and the associated company email address has been permanently deactivated, what documentation would Figma Support require to authorize an ownership reassignment?

Hey everyone,This has been driving me (and apparently hundreds of others) crazy since 2021: there is STILL no native way to properly move or duplicate an entire page from one Figma file to another.Copy-paste or “Select All” destroys page background/grid/rulers, breaks prototypes, loses comments, turns library styles into local duplicates, and forgets locked/hidden layers. Duplicating the whole file then deleting pages is the only “workaround” — but it’s a nightmare with 50+ page files or design systems.I’m a fellow designer who’s fed up and seriously considering building a free Figma plugin called PagePort that would let you:Export any page (or batch multiple pages) with 100% fidelity (layers, auto-layout, constraints, page props, prototypes where possible) Import into any other open file in one click Choose Move (delete from source) or Copy Smart remapping for styles/variables/libraries + basic prototype r

So I had a Site already made (I’m the owner) and then I upgraded to an Education plan courtesy of my college. Suddenly I lost access to the editing features of the site? The Site had already been shared with my group members and they can’t edit either.I checked, and I’m still the owner of the file and all of my group members have “can edit” by their name. However, all of us have exclaimation marks by our names with the popup “An admin needs to update your seat so you can edit”. Am I not automatically an admin as an owner? I went into the admin settings on my project and there’s no way for me to grant myself edit access either. Frankly, this is ridiculous and poor design on Figma’s part.

I have some buttons that have a hover effect and in the prototype there is slight movement of the content. I checked the position of the content to be the same in both instances (default and hovered) in regards to the margins and in between items I applied a “while hovering” interaction with instant animation This also seems to happen in between separate screens of a prototype for text in a header component that doesn’t have animation applied or any other interaction. Anyone has any idea?

The error message above prompt says : Files that are too largelarge files break figma make but i have deleted some of those files and it still stock on same message 

Hi, I am trying to link a card to a specific section in another page. Is that possible in Figma or is it a limitation? 

I have a prototype, interaction is:From main screen tap on icon > icon opens up an overlay which has a carousel (4 in the set), you can move left/right between the carousel, and there’s a ‘got it’ CTA on each one for closing. It’s all working fine, apart from if you tap outside of one of the interactions (ie. you hit the background of the modal, not the arrows or CTA), in which case, the overlay reverts to the first in the sequence, the width expands to fit the entire screen, and the ‘got it’ CTA no longer closes the overlay. You can run through the carousel again, but you can’t actually close it anymore.I have checked EVERYTHING I thought this could be, and nothing seems to be leading to this issue.

Hey Guys!PROJECT: Design an app and a responsive website for a local grocery store that helps shoppers locate products as they shop in person. I would really appreciate constructive feedback on my LO-FI Prototype  

I would like to create a simple component that would have different versions for desktop and mobile. After I add the component to a screen, I can link to a "device" variable and make it adjust automatically. But I would like to link the variant with the variable automatically, so every time a team member add this component to a screen, they wouldn't need to link them manually.  Is this possible?

The suspension has significantly affected my ability to continue my projects. I sincerely believe this may have been triggered unintentionally, as I have always respected Figma’s Community Guidelines and Terms of Service. Hi,  I am using figma pofessional plan since more than 1 year. Whenever i contact the team to extend buffer time after finising my exact billing date, they always help me.  And this time, again i have sent email to them to help me to increase buffer time and still waiting for them to response, support ticket : 1773195 . My team will start work after next 3 hours and my plan is locked now, and lets see if they can help me to reactived and extend the buffer time.  I am waiting for support team to response.   

I edited the Figma Make prototype using the Point and Edit tool to change the background color. I changed it, but upon refreshing the prototype, the old color appears. How to save the change made using the Point and Edit tool, especially in the case of changing the background color? 

My team is looking at ways of better integrating our DS in Figma with Figma’s MCP server, and Figma’s Code Connect feature, specifically.We don’t currently have an organization or enterprise plan, so I was hoping someone who has the knowledge—whether as a Figma team member or an org/enterprise user—might be able to answer this question:In Figma’s Code Connect Feature, can you map a Figma component to a directory in your codebase?  Or does it have to map to a specific file (e.g. could we map a `Button` component to `/DS/Primitives/Button/`, or do we have to map it a specific file like `/DS/Primitives/Button.tsx` or `/DS/Primitives/Button/index.tsx`?Thanks!

Hi!I’m having an issue with colours not displaying correctly when I use the desktop app on my second monitor.I have my laptop (Dell XPS 15, Windows 11) extended to a monitor (ViewSonic VX3211-2K-mhd). On my laptop there are no problems but when I move the window to the second monitor, the entire app doesn’t display colours properly. This seems to be happening only with the Figma desktop app- all other apps I’ve checked show the correct colour profile, including Figma in the browser. Hello, I’ve been working on my online clothing store catalog (view-only, no add-to-cart or payment options) on Figma Sites for the past few weeks, and it’s now in the final phase. I’ve published the website, and everything works perfectly except for the product images. Here is the link to my prototype: https://akaipieces.com. For now, only the NEW IN button works. When you click NEW IN, a list of products appears. If you select a product, everything works fine. However, when you go back to the product list and choose another item, the images don’t load the first time. They only appear after refreshing the page. This happens with every subsequent product. I’m using the CMS system to manage information for 25 products. Has anyone experienced this issue before? I’ve tried everything I can think of, but the bug is still there. Thank you

I’m not trying to stir the pot, it’s been 24 hours that I’ve been waiting for my bug report to get looked at and I haven’t heard anything from the Figma support team. Can somebody tell me if you are in the same boat as me? Just want a ETA on when we can get some assistance. Thank you. Ron
