I have installed figma on PC and created a account and after trying so many times I'm not able to login via email and not receiving authentication code even after so many times 

Hi everyone,I’m trying to publish a Figma plugin that provides a list of UI and Design System items.The idea is simple: users see a list of components inside the plugin UI, and when they click on an item, that component is inserted into their canvas as an Instance.The important part is that these items are components defined in a separate file or library, and the plugin only inserts instances of them into the user’s canvas. When the user clicks “Go to main component”, they should not have access to the original library file.I don’t really care whether the component keys are hard-coded in the plugin or auto-updated.The real problem is that I can’t even list or access those components inside the plugin.From what I understand after reading the Figma API documentation: Component keys from a published library are only accessible to members of the same team.

I’m a freelance developer working with a client. The client has shared Figma files with me. I have a “professional” subscription with the intent to use dev mode to help me build the project.When I hit the dev mode button, I’m told I have to request access.Previously when I tried this, before I had my own professional account, I was told they couldn’t grant me access as there wasn’t a seat for me on their plan.If I now request access, will it use my seat / professional account to give me dev mode access to the project files, or will it insist on the client granting me a dev mode seat on their account? (if the latter, how do I go about requesting a refund for my professional account, as that was the whole point of me signing up this morning).

 Hi everyone, I try to attach the number with number variable as I want to make a functional counter. I already do the variable as in the picture below, but when attaching the number with variable, there are no variable detect(Pic 1). So, I need to type the variable. After type it in search box, the variable appear(Pic 2). Which my question is it normal? Because on my first attempted it the variable option was available and the process went smoothly ok. The prototype mode on + and - went smoothly (Pic 3). But when I try to test the prototype, only + and - are functional. “1” are not functional 

Hi all,I have a problem when trying to publish code connect file because the component has a property with an emoji character in its name: ✏️ LabelError is “Validation failed for ...: The property does not exist on the Figma component.”It’s a Compose project.In @FigmaProperty value, I tried to use “✏\uFE0F Label”, “\uFE0F Label”, “✏ Label”, “Label”, but nothing works…Does someone have an solution for this issue?Thank you for your help.

Hello Brains Trust, I am stuck.I am trying to get a navigation bar's scroll position to stay at the top of a frame (a prototype website) as one scrolls down. I want the nav bar to be visible at all times, even when scrolled all the way to the bottom of the page - but it just won't. I have done every step recommended:Select the navigation bar instance in the Home frame. In the Prototype tab, select Sticky from the Position menu. Open the Auto layout settings, and make sure Canvas stacking is set to First on top. It is at the highest layer order within the frame It is fully inside the frame, with all appropriate properties enabled I have tried every configuration of ‘Overflow Behaviour’ and nothing works (none, horizontal, vertical, b

I am stuck. My navigation bar doesn’t stick at top though I’ve set it to sticky at top and canvas stacking is set to first on top. Not sure what else I can do.Also Fixed (stay in place) is disabled.Any help? Much appreciated.

hi, i find this file from community, i would like to create an effect once i key in all the value in every input section, then the cta button wil become active, i try to make it from scratch but i can’t make it. can someone tell me what i missing?  

We use an Enterprise Full seat token to access Figma files via the REST API (Tier 1 endpoints). Files in our Enterprise workspace work fine, but files in a personal Free plan account hit rate limits. The documentation note mentions file plan affecting limits, but it's unclear how the token owner's seat type and the file's plan interact. Can you clarify? Questions:To get 20/min for Tier 1, are both required?File is in an Enterprise workspaceToken owner has a Full seat in that Enterprise workspaceOr does only the file's plan matter?How are Free plan files handled?When accessing a file in a Free plan account with an Enterprise Full seat token, what rate limits apply?Are Free plan files always treated as View/Collab limits (6/month) regardless of the token's seat type?

Hello,My Figma file is completely unusable due to a massive amount of runtime errors.Figma freezes and becomes unresponsive, even after duplicating the file.This started after a backend integration issue, which is now resolved,but the file seems stuck in a corrupted runtime state.I cannot access Preview or Diagnostics properly, and the editor itself becomes unstable.This project represents several months of work.Could you please help recover or reset the file state on your side?Thank you.

Hey everyone,I’m currently on the Figma Education (Educator/Student) plan, and my account is already verified.I want to change the email address on this same Figma account (from an edu email to a personal Gmail).My concern is:Will changing the email revoke my education status? Has anyone successfully changed their email without losing the edu plan? If it does get revoked, did Figma support help re-verify or transfer the status?I’ve seen mixed answers online, and I don’t want to risk losing access accidentally 😅Any real experiences or advice would be super helpful. Thanks in advance!

Hello! I have a monthly FULL professional subscription to Figma, and we are working on a project where I am the owner with a full position, another person has a full position, and another has a Dev position. Since I am hardly editing the project, I switched to the ‘view’ position, and today the Dev told me that she has not been able to access the project. Is that why I changed my position? Does the fact that I am the project owner affect my change of role? 

Hi, I have been using Figma Make, and I used to be able to see the code of the files in <> Code tab and edit the files, but one day I clicked something and i can no longer see the contents of the files just the file names. I would like to be able to see the code and edit, hoping someone can help. I am sure its a quick fix, unless others have experienced similar situations. 

Hey there, I hope this one isn’t too obvious but I am finding myself very stuck.What I am trying to do, is set up my file so that when I am hovering over an image situated on the left, a different image will appear next to it on the right, and when no longer hovering on the original image, the image on the left would disappear. This is a scrolling page, so would hope that both images would scroll up and down with the page. Thank you!

Is there any way I can make this Dynamic Pattern?It starts with Bigger Dots and Ends with Smaller Dots or Vice Versa. I have made this so far..
