Issue: Figma Professional Account Logging Out on Another Laptop

Hi Figma Support Team,

I am using a Figma Professional plan, and I am facing an issue with my account sessions.

Whenever I log in to my Figma account on my second laptop, it automatically logs me out of my first laptop. I then have to log in again on the first laptop.

I am also seeing the message “Some of your sessions were logged out” when this happens. I have attached a screenshot of the error message for your reference.

Could you please help me understand why this is happening and provide a solution? I need to use my Figma Professional account on both laptops without being logged out repeatedly.

Please let me know if there are any account settings or security steps I need to change to resolve this issue.

To clarify, I am using the same Figma account/email on both laptops. I am not switching between different Figma accounts.

The issue is that when I log in to my Figma account on my second laptop, my existing session on my first laptop gets logged out automatically. I then have to log in again on the first laptop.

I am using Figma on the desktop app. The message I receive is:

“Some of your sessions were logged out.”

This happens specifically when I log in to the same account on my second laptop.

Could you please check whether there is any session limit, security setting, account restriction, or other issue causing my first laptop session to be terminated when I log in on the second laptop?

I need to use the same Professional account on both laptops simultaneously without repeatedly logging in.

Best regards,
Sachin

Hey @Kundan Singh — welcome to Figma Forum, and thanks for flagging this. Sorry to hear about the disruption this is causing.

What you're describing sounds like Figma's session handling rather than anything wrong with your account. Figma may sign some older sessions out when a new login looks unusual, as a protection against unauthorized access. Seeing that message doesn't mean your account has been flagged or restricted, and there's nothing you need to change in your settings — you can sign back in on the other laptop whenever you need it.

That said, I touched base with our Customer Support team and shared the context you provided here. They are reviewing your report and your ticket number is: 2124094. Please keep an eye on your email inbox for an update from them — we are not able to access or adjust account settings from this public thread for privacy and security reasons.

Appreciate your patience as we follow up.
