Unable to publish my plugin after enabling 2-step authentication

I’m trying to publish my Figma plugin to Figma Community, but I’m blocked by this message:

“We detected a change to your account details. Please contact support@figma.com to proceed.”

The only recent change I made to my Figma account was enabling 2-step authentication.

Since then, I haven’t been able to publish my plugin to Figma Community.

I’ve already contacted Figma Support by email, but I haven’t received a solution yet.

I also found another Community post describing a very similar issue after enabling multi-factor authentication, where the account needed to be verified by Support before publishing could be enabled.

Has anyone experienced the same issue recently, or does anyone from the Figma Community Support team know how I can get the account verification completed?

I’m happy to provide any information needed to verify ownership of my account.

Thank you!

Hey @Sajjad Tahami , Celine from the Community Support team at Figma here! Thanks for reaching out and for sharing all these details. I understand you’re currently unable to publish your plugin after the account change, and that you’ve already contacted our support team for help.

I was able to locate your existing support ticket (case number #2144685) and have assigned it to the appropriate team to take a closer look at the account verification and publishing issue.

The team will follow up with you directly through your support case as soon as possible. Please keep an eye on your inbox for their response. Thanks for your patience in the meantime!

Update: The support agent is waiting for your reply to confirm your account for plugin publishing. Please check your inbox when you can. I’ll go ahead and close the thread here, thank you!
