I do a lot of packaging and print work, and Figma is already my tool of choice for everything up to the moment the file has to go to the printer. That last step is where it falls apart, and I end up rebuilding the layout in Illustrator or InDesign just to hand it off.A few things that would let us stay in Figma end to end:CMYK and spot colour supportRight now everything is RGB, so colours shift the moment the file hits a press. Being able to define CMYK values, assign Pantone/spot colours, and see an out-of-gamut warning would solve the single biggest problem.Bleed, trim and safe areaA document-level setting for bleed and trim marks, with the artwork actually extending into the bleed, rather than everyone faking it with a frame inside a bigger frame.Print-ready PDF exportPDF/X-1a or PDF/X-4 export with crop marks, bleed, embedded fonts and no downsampled images. Today's PDF export is fine for review but printers reject it.Dieline / cut layer handlingFor packaging we work on top of a di

Summary:The Make preview iframe replaces console.debug with a wrapper that calls JSON.stringify on each argument. If any argument is circular, such as a DOM element with a React fiber attached, the wrapper throws a TypeError. The exception propagates into the calling code, so a harmless debug log can break app or library logic. The same code works outside the preview, for example in a plain Vite dev server. Steps to reproduceIn a Make project, run this anywhere in app code or a dependency:const el = document.createElement('div')// or any DOM node rendered by React, which has a __reactFiber$ propertyconsole.debug('mounted', el)For a minimal repro, log an object with a self-reference:const a = {}; a.self = aconsole.debug(a)Open the Make preview and check the console.Expected: The log is recorded or safely ignored, and execution continues.Actual: The hook throws:TypeError: Converting circular structure to JSON  --> starting at object with constructor 'HTMLDivElement'  ... property '__r

What can you do when you have unattached comments? There should be an option to place it back on a frame or object inside the canvas. Vote here if you have the same issue. (original question here: What do you do with Unattached comments? ) It would be great if @figma can let us reattach lost, unattached comments back to a frame. Even better if the comment automatically falls back to a children frame underneath when you ungroup a frame, to which the comment is attached. That just reduce unattached comments from happening.

The slot feature has been incredibly helpful for enabling components to have modifiable contents and I’m absolutely loving it.  I do consistently find myself running into a thing that I wish was easier/facilitated by the UI.If I have several instances of the same component in a slot, such as rows in a table or cards in a gallery layout, etc., it would be incredibly helpful to have access to a feature similar to the “Select Matching Layers” functionality that’s available for general selection, but to have it apply across the instances in a given slot.  That way if I want to select all of the items in the first ‘column’ of a table row and modify them, or select all of the body text fields on my gallery cards, I could do that with a single button instead of having to manually select each one. This would also be incredibly beneficial when some of those instances appear ‘off screen’ because the area is set to scroll.

Hello Team, I'm trying to change the email address associated with my existing Figma account, but I've encountered several issues during the process. I'd appreciate help resolving this without losing access to my existing account or design files. My goalI want to change the email address of my existing Figma account from my current email ID i.e. [email redacted by forum moderator to remove PII] while retaining all my existing files, projects, and account data. Here's what happened: I went to the settings of my existing Figma account and tried to change my email address to [redacted by forum moderator to remove PII]. Figma prompted me to check my new email inbox and verify the address. When I clicked the verification link, Figma opened in my browser but displayed a dialog saying that the link had expired. I tried the verification process again. When I opened the link, Figma prompted me to log in. I tried logging in using my new Gmail account, but Figma said that the password was inc

Figma stopped working with chatgpt.   I checked again: your Figma connection works, and your account has a Professional plan with a Full seat. However, the use_figma tool we used for editing is still missing.A change to the integration is possible, but I can’t confirm why it disappeared.

Hi Figma team,I’m seeing the same issue: the Figma MCP connection works for read tools, but `use_figma` is not exposed.Available tools:- get_metadata- get_screenshotMissing tool:- use_figmaContext:- I’m using Codex with the Figma MCP integration.- The target is an existing Figma Design file, not a FigJam board.- Read access works against the file and target frame.- I’m trying to confirm whether `use_figma` is unavailable because of my current plan/seat, or whether this could be an account-side feature flag issue.Target file:https://www.figma.com/design/c4QoVCrffuIfQbhmRigY6J/Untitled?node-id=1016-3506Target frame:Screen/Messages/Mobile/PrivateChat/AttachmentPanelNode ID: 1536:1428Could someone from Figma confirm the exact plan/seat requirements for `use_figma` write-to-canvas access, and whether Education plan accounts can access it in any setup? You can contact me at h2odumpling.luca@gmail.com if you need any additional details.

Dear Figma Support Team,We are currently using Figma for Jira v1.0.16-AC on our Atlassian Jira Cloud instance. The app is currently flagged as "Legacy" in our Atlassian Admin panel, and there is no Update option available on the Marketplace. As Atlassian has announced the end-of-support for legacy app platform frameworks in January 2027, we need to understand Figma's roadmap for this app.Could you please provide: Is Figma for Jira being actively maintained and migrated to the Forge platform ahead of the January 2027 deadline? If yes, what is the expected release timeline for a compliant version? If the app will not be updated, is there an official alternative or replacement you recommend for embedding Figma designs in Jira? We would appreciate a response by end of September 2026 to assess our options in time.Thank you for your support.Best regards,Majd RekikHanseVision GmbH

Hi Figma Support, I'm a collaborator with "can edit" access on the file below. The owner is another member of my project. [file link redacted by forum moderator to remove PII] Until recently, our whole team used this file to edit screen designs. Suddenly, the share list showed only the owner and me, and the other members could no longer view the file. I also became unable to approve their access requests. The owner says they did not remove anyone. Could you tell me whether this was caused by an action or setting change (for example, removing collaborators, moving the file, or a team/plan change), or whether it was an error on Figma's side? Thank you.

Please delete and recreate the Publish deployment record for this Make file. Publishing fails during negotiate-upload with HTTP 400 before any files are uploaded. The deployment build and artifact verification both pass.

My team member upgraded my account to paid but it is still showing as free

Figma Make was working just fine yesterday. Tried using it after my latest prompt and now I only get the error “Message can’t be sent. Remove some files or text and try again.” No matter what prompt I type, files or not, I get this same message.  ID: srid_378D0WEZ2B5K6VG0J27N13DM0

I attached an image. When I drag and drop the instance, the display is fixed. How can I fix the issue ? Where does it come from ?Thanks !

Hi Figma team,In mid-September I submitted my shader effect Radial Bokeh Blur to the Community, and it has been showing "In review" ever since. My previous shader, Linear Transparency, went through review in about a week, so I wanted to check: is the submission still in the queue, or is something holding it up?If anything needs to be fixed or added on my side (description, preview images, anything else), I'm happy to do it.Link: Radial Bokeh Blur | FigmaThanks a lot for your work!Artur

One of our Figma Design files is suddenly showing as deleted / not found when we open it. What caused it? Is there any other place a file can end up that I haven’t checked? Has Figma Support been able to restore files in this situation, and roughly how long did it take?We have created Tic

The figma MAKE AI has been down for the last 5 hours for me I have tried refrshing the page, changing the AI platform from Auto to GPT but it doesnt seem to be working? Is anyone else having the same issue?

Hello Figma Community,I am currently facing an issue with Figma authentication.I am unable to reliably receive the authentication  code required to access my Figma account. Because of this, I am having difficulty signing in and accessing our professional Figma workspace.I already raised this issue with Figma Product Support under Support Request #2188208 and received the automated acknowledgement, but I have still not received any proper response or assistance. The main issue is: Authentication or verification code is not being received properly I am unable to complete the authentication process This is preventing or delaying access to Figma Support Request #2188208 is still awaiting a response Could someone from the Figma team please help escalate this ticket or advise how this authentication issue can be resolved? For security reasons, I prefer not to share account-specific or organizational details publicly and can provide them directly to Figma Support.Thank you.

Figma Spec announcement this week is brilliant. I already know that of a lot of different things I’ll be able to do with it immediately which will considerably increase and improve my design workflow. These features additions to Figma Spec would hands down flip my design workflow on its head.1. Figma Spec document libraryBasically this would be the same concept as the assets library, but instead having a specs or document library. This would allow you to access all of the spec documents in your design file from a single top level UI navigation element and be able to create folders and sections of all the different spec documents in your design file. Why this is useful is that in very large design files with lots of pages, layers and stuff. You might not actually want to navigate all the design files to find the spec that you need and if you only going to read or updated the content in the spec, having to navigate to it through the files pages is a bit slow and pointless. If you could set

In the properties panel I can quick-select variables for gaps and spacing by hitting “Shift 0” (german keyboard). Unfortunately the focus stays in the selected input field and I have to use the mouse to click somewhere which usually then deselects my element – otherwise I can enter letters if I use the keyboard.I would like to leave focus state of the inputs when I selected a variable via keyboard.

I created a paragraph content and its mixed with different font weight to highlight the keywords. while duplicate the frame it works fine. But when I copy the frame the highlight styles removed. While I create the same screen for different platforms its a biggest issue. For every frame I’ve to fix the highlights manually. This needs to be resolved.
