In Figjam, when I draw a connector from one shape to another, it only wants to snap to the leading edge. Sure I can drop the arrow near to one of the other sides, but it’s not attached to that shape, so won’t follow it if I move the shape. Is this a know bug?
When using auto layout some of the images/modules can be located at an odd X or Y orientation such as 102.03. When this is the case the image exports as an odd number, it appears to be 150px tall in Figma but on export becomes 150.5px. The position of an element should NOT affect the size of an image on export. This is causing major issues for our team and having to manually edit each image or drag each image out of layout to save out.
I used to be able to export the preview at a sensible size without any cropping of the images such as border radius, however, now, for some absolutely wild reason it includes the border radius….. this is a massive pain in the ass and requires a lot of efforts to export now when it was so simple. The alternative is we download the original which then comes out at 5MB and requires resizing. Image preview including crop radius - not good Component as displays on page Is there a solution to this? This has recently been happening on newer Figma files. Same designers, same issue on new files.
I'm encountering an issue with the Variables API endpoint when attempting to export local variables. The endpoint returns all remote variables from shared files, making it impossible to export only local variables. Current Behavior: The endpoint returns all remote variables from shared files Unable to filter or export only local variables Receiving a 400 error with "Request too large" message Error Response: { "status": 400, "error": true, "message": "Request too large. If applicable, filter by query params." } Technical Details: The error message suggests using query parameters for filtering However, the endpoint documentation doesn't list any available query parameters The endpoint lacks pagination capabilities This limitation makes the endpoint essentially unusable for files with many variables Expected Behavior: Ability to export only local variables Support for filtering variables (local vs. remote) Pagination support for large variable sets Impact: This issue significantly impact
The color picker at the top-right of the Highlighter menu doesn’t appear to work. Clicking on it doesn’t open the color palette. Works with the pencil tool.
When sharing a link to a page in Figma to a viewer, we have recently experienced that the viewer can not see the updates made by the designer when the reviewer is revisiting the page via the link the day after? It’s creating a lot of frustrations when you think the viewer is seeing the same thing as the designer is, but they can’t see the updates that have been made since last.We have not noticed this earlier. Is there a fix for it? We have also experienced that the updates made by one designer (in the most recent case a new page added in a file) was not visible to another designer until the other designer reopened the file. This causing great frustrations when designers working together online on the same project.
The contrast checker is wrong as far as I can see. I checked the same colour on the same background in the same element and got 2 different reading. One said pass and one said fail and the pass was 3.29:1 when a pass should be 4.5:1
As a freelancer, I often need to share files with developers, however, not all clients have a paid account and I don’t want to have to pay for a new seat for every developer who needs access to Dev mode or ask my clients to pay for Figma.
I’m using videos in my web prototype, however their previewing as crusty and pixellated. The videos uploaded are small (6mb) and I’m currently not even using them fullscreen. Is there a setting that I have done wrong, or is there a work around?
ngl, the new ui3 is pretty good. the only thing i dont like is the toolbar position. im still not used to it. maybe add an option to move it to the top?
It would be nice to have a way to undelete a comment. I accidentally deleted a comment when I meant to resolve it. I could not get the comment back. I could not even Undo deleting the comment. Can you please add a trashcan like feature to recover deleted comments?

How can we stop opening links in a browser when I have downloaded the app. It is super annoying to have to log in and use the chrome browser. My flow is: Someone sends a link in Slack/Zoom chat I click the link Opens Chrome browser with new tab Have to login via SSO No way to open link in App from the browser What I expect Someone sends a link in Slack/Zoom chat I click the link Open New tab in Figma app
