It would be nice to have a way to undelete a comment. I accidentally deleted a comment when I meant to resolve it. I could not get the comment back. I could not even Undo deleting the comment.

It’s absurd that comments can be recovered. Accidentally lost comments could be important string suggestions that are hard to recreate. I just lost 10 minutes of precise string suggestions because Figma doesn’t have UNDO for comments — a feature present in software for over 40 years.

This would be a very useful feature. Comments often contain important feedback, decisions, and context for a project, so accidentally deleting one can be frustrating—especially when there's no way to recover it. A trash bin or "Recently Deleted" section for comments would help prevent permanent data loss and give users a chance to restore comments that were removed by mistake. Even a short recovery window or an Undo option after deletion would make the commenting workflow much more forgiving and user-friendly.
