I am building a tag component and for now it has 2 sizes. I am using an avatar component inside. For the S size tag I need avatr with size 16 (set as a variant property) and for the tag size M I need to set size 20 avatar. Previously I have done the exact same thing but for some reason when changing the size of the avatar inside the size M tag it gets changed inside the size S as well. Because I’m rebuilding the components (avatar and tag) I have the absolutely the same setup with the old components and there is no such behaviour. The avatar is the same just split in different variants and the tag has color and other variant adjustments. In the same tag I’m using an icon component with simillar size setup (with variants) and changing the size in one of the tags does not translate into other variants. It only happenes with the avatar. I tought it might be because of the aspect ratio since it’s new and I added it to the new avatar but turning it off doesn not change the behaviour.
I need the duration to be around 100,000ms. If I break the interaction in multiple frames then there is a slight pause (1ms). I need a smooth transition of at least 1min maybe more. Is there a way to do this in Figma?
Last year, we had two Full Figma seats. However, later on last year, a user with Full Figma seat was removed from the team. It looks like we missed the announcement of the new billing model, so this year we have to pay for two Full Figma seats with one "Available" seat. This is very unexpected. Besides, after looking around in the Admin page, we can't seem to find anywhere we could adjust the number of Paid seats. Everywhere there's a "Manage" button, we're led back to the People page, where it's only information. We may need to contact Support for further assistant, but may I ask what the problem it is? Is it because we missed a note where we could select to keep the “Available" seat or not, or is there any misunderstanding?
I bought my first seat paying annually, then I bought two more seats in succession. I’m being charged monthly for them, but want to be charged annually. It vaguely seems like this might happen automatically at the start of the next month?? I’m not sure because the help is unclear.
Hi guys! Could you please advise me on how to come back to the team I accidentally left? I left the wrong team and thus lost editing rights to my files and don’t see the list of the files I’ve created. I contacted 2 team members, yet they haven’t answered me yet. I also can’t see who else was on the team to contact them. I have an educator plan and can’t contact support as well, so community is my only chance to undo my actions 😢 I left the
Yesterday I notice that all the corner radius of my projects have changed. The wird thing is that my coworkers are still able to see the right corner radius from their account. When I check the component from my account I see that it is set with the right radius, 8px, while it is displaying a bigger radius. When I go to Prototype I see everything correctly .I attached the screenshot from my account and another one from my coworker. Anyone with the same problem? My view My coworker view
In a Figma library file, we have an icon set as separate components. The icons are multiple shape objects, i.e. they are not compound paths. All the icons should be monochrome in any state. If we replace one icon(component) with another only parts of the icon will inherit the colours from its replacement. The rest of the icon shapes will pick their colour from the colour applied to the icons as Main Components. Can anyone help with troubleshooting this or confirm that this is a bug?
It would be great if the professional plan offered more than 4 variable modes. Right now I want to set up a mode for each component size-- XS - XL, 5 sizes all together-- which puts me over the 4 limit for pro, but well under the 40 limit for enterprise, which is a quantity I will never need. And there’s no use case for enterprise at all for a team our size. I think 10-12 modes for pro would be perfect to give small teams like mine room to grow before we reach the scale where an enterprise plan would be worth consideration.
Hello everyone, I just removed all interactions from the prototype by mistake when working on a project. 💀 I right clicked on the Prototype page because I was having trouble connecting a section. Clicked on “Remove all interactions” thinking it would hide them temporary so I coud have a better view. I almost cried when I realized all the conections were lost. Why did the system didn’t even ask for a confirmation?! I tried everything, but no Ctrl + Z or Version Story could solve it. I tried to re-connect it all but I had a meeting in 1 hour. Of course I wasn’t able to fix the whole project… I saw another post of Mark_Roudebush talking about the same experience 3 years ago and I’m shocked that Figma hasn’t solved that yet. It should totally have a confirmation, it’s a delicate decision for the user and it keeps happening to many designers. Outrageous
Hey there, I’m looking into a component in DevMode and I noticed that when opening the playground, if I change the variable mode, the fonts aren’t changing, like the colors for example. In design mode, by changing the variable it all works just fine. Is this a known issue, are there any solutions…? Thank you!
So, in principle, if an instance is inside of another component, changing the variant causes the text to reset back to the text of the master component. This also happens with other properties of the instance, e.g. if you set some booleans up they will be reset to how they were set in the master component once the variant is changed via variable. Here’s a screenshot of what I mean: and here’s the link to the file to mess around with. (So, this issue might be similar (or even basically the same) as discussed here: Change to on instance not keeping text change but frankly I haven’t had the patience to look into OPs setup 😅 I tried to break the issue down to the most bare-bones that I could in the file I provided (also to see if the issue has anything to do with my components or just is a bug) If anyone has found a workaround do let me know 🙏 (and yes, I do need the instance within another instance; it’s a button inside a form layout that I want to reuse (and many other such cases).
Continuing the discussion from Paste to Replace sometimes causes the object to shift position: When I’m trying to Paste to Replace a screen that’s currently connected within a flow (AKA there is an arrow that connects to it before, and it has an arrow connecting it to another screen afterwards), the connecting arrow from the replaced screen suddenly makes position of the arrows go weirdly up. I have to always double click the arrow to reset it to the original position. Noticed it affects comment pins, too. I tried to Paste to Replace a screen that had a comment pinned on it, and after replacing, it displaced the comment to somewhere to the left. It’s happened every single time I do Paste to Replace that it’s getting a bit annoying ☹
