Hi, I’m quite new to Figma and i don’t know what to do. Previously this had never happened. How can I fix it? I need that animation as soon as possible, since my deadline is close. Any help would be appreciated.
Sites is awesome! Even when there are not so much default interaction animations, code layers compensate it. I would suggest to be able to set id on layers just like the html tag , so that code layers could interact with other elements.
Hey ! I’d like to know if there is any chance to have a vertical marquee effect on Figma Site in the next weeks ? Well, great to have the two horizontal options, but our sites need rythm with variety of directions !
Hello Figma Support Team, I’m experiencing severe issues with touchscreen and stylus input specifically in FigJam. For over six months, I was able to use my stylus to draw and annotate without any problems. I could also navigate the canvas smoothly using two fingers. However, recently this functionality has broken: When I select tools (e.g., the Selector) and try to pan the canvas with two fingers, the view wiggles unpredictably, making navigation nearly impossible. Drawing with my stylus now behaves erratically—strokes do not register accurately and jump around or lag. I have tested this on both the desktop app and in multiple browsers. The behavior is identical across all environments. This issue is easy to reproduce: simply use a stylus to draw and then try navigating with fingers in FigJam. I’d appreciate any guidance or updates on whether this regression is known or if a fix is planned, as this is disrupting my workflow. Thank you for your help. Best regards
Thanks for adding annotations to Design Mode. I have been spending the last day annotating some new design ideas. People who have access to the Figma file love that they can read come design rationale and interaction behaviors. For others, who do not have access, or do not use Figma it would be great if I can export the annotations associated with objects inside a frame. Thanks, K.
Hello everyone, since yesterday, weird library updates have been showing up in almost all of my files. They show updates that supposedly have been published months ago (some up to 4 months). Those are libraries I use and update almost daily, so I’m confused that they offer updates from months ago now. When I click on “Update”, Figma quickly says “Successfully updated assets”, but nothing changes. When I click on an icon to see the side by side comparison, it loads forever. I tried to force another update from those libraries to see what happens. Now the Base Colors library says “Published 1 day ago”, but the problem remains. It won’t go away. I also tried doing the “Reset Figma and restart”, which I think formerly used to be “Clear cache”. And I obviously restarted the computer, but nothing helps. Anybody have any idea what else I could try?
I think the idea for figma sites is great! However there is some issues I am having. There is no way to connect a backend DB to the site that I have seen. I want to make my site password protected so have made a login system and Figma Make has created an authentication for it which is great and works, but if you type /home in the address bar it takes you into the site bypassing authentication. The second issue is that there is no way to access the files behind the site. You can use figma make to code components which is cool, but trying to make a site-wide search bar isn't working because the code can't seem to go across pages so can only search things on that page which is pretty pointless. We need Figma Make that has access to all of the sites pages for better context. Another issue is that it's hard to redesign something once it has been coded in Make. If you design something and send it to Make then Make creates an image instead of SVG so it doesn't look great. But also means you c
I’m trying to localize an app using the new variables feature but it looks like I can’t add break lines to the string. For titles, especially in some languages like Japanese where there are no spaces, it is totally necessary. Is this planned for the near future?

I recently, or better, had since a year of trying to fix it, the issue that any font i downloaded did not work. (Exept for the sega logo font, which isnt on my pc.) draging in the file does nothing. Restarting, reinstalling everythinf including fonts and the desktop program / font-into-figma-shover in various ways, downloading diffrent fonts did not work, manualy installing fonts did not work, and yes, i did restart, shutdown and start, and updated figma in a year. So, since i now KNOW that the problem is not coming with a clean instalation of figma and is not caused by me. i recently also found out that a bot answers the questions after that by leading to a help article that explains you how to install fonts, not troubleshoot, just installing. the troubleshooting page for the issue that has been “solved” and the answer pointing this page out was “most helpful” (figma closed the thread by sending the user to an irrelevant page) was about Adobe fonts not showing up. i have the same issu
I have prototypes with pop out modals, when I present these appear fine unless I go into “Full Screen Mode”. In which case the pop out modals disappear and the prototype skips any pop out modals when clicking through.
I’d love to suggest a small but potentially powerful feature:a local clipboard panel inside the canvas. Think of it as a lightweight, always-visible spot where I can quickly drag elements I create during a session and reuse them throughout the file — like a mini asset shelf, but temporary and personal. 🎯 Use case: While working on complex screens, I often create utility elements (buttons, arrows, highlights, etc.) that I need to reuse across multiple frames. Right now I either copy-paste from frame to frame or scroll back and forth.With a built-in clipboard panel, I could drop those elements in one place and simply drag them out when needed. That would seriously reduce navigation time and context switching — especially on large-scale design systems or messy exploratory files. Hi Figma team, I'm building a website using Figma Sites (https://www.marilialeal.com.br/), and I've encountered a major issue regarding SEO and search engine indexing. The site is automatically generating the following tag in the <head>: <meta name="robots" content="noindex"> This prevents Google Search Console from indexing the site, and there's currently no way to remove or override this tag through the Figma Sites settings. I’ve tried adding a new <meta name="robots" content="index, follow"> tag as high as possible in the Custom Code section, but it’s still ignored by search engines because the noindex tag appears first. This makes Figma Sites unsuitable for any project that requires SEO or public visibility on search engines. Could you please provide a way to: Remove or override the default noindex tag in the <head>; Ensure that published websites are indexable when desired; Clarify whether this is an intentional limitation or a bug? Very low performance speed in Figma Make when the thread reaches large sizes (currently 230+ iterations). All actions in the chat area occur with a significant delay (typing, scrolling, etc.), making it impossible to work. However, the prototype itself works well within FM. Has anyone encountered this? What could be the cause? Could it be related to the power of the laptop?
Hi, I’m having an issue with the variables. I created a design system with all the relevant variables and then published. I made sure all variables are with the correct scope details and all are NOT hidden from publishing. After enabling that library in a new design file, i tried to use a color variable on a new shape and it simply doesn’t load the colors in the small thumbnail squares. They just stay forever with the default color variable icon. I tested this with new files and new libraries and variables but the issue keeps happening. It seems like it is stuck in a forever loading stage. Other colleagues of mine can use the library and see the variables in their square thumbnails, so im guessing its my issue. After this i made sure my figma was updated and even uninstalled it and installed again. I’ve also tested this with both app and web browser. Interestingly, when i do select a color from the variables on the right panel, the color appears! Has someone had this issue? I’m really
