I am stuck with UI in dark mode and Figma background in light mode making the sections all dark but background ssuper light. It is jarring to say the least.
Hello! I'm experiencing an issue with a component that includes a right-aligned gradient frame. The gradient has a variable applied to its width and is set to fixed positioning. When the component is resized for a different breakpoint by switching to a different mode, the gradient’s width updates correctly based on the variable. However, its position shifts inward and it no longer stays aligned with the right edge. It appears the resizing is anchored on the right side of the gradient, causing it to shift inward rather than staying aligned with the component edge. Steps to Reproduce: Create a component with a gradient frame aligned to the right edge. Create at least two modes and add different width values in these modes. Apply the width variable to gradient. Set the gradient to fixed positioning (right). Resize the component via mode switching. Observe that the gradient shifts and is no longer flush with the right edge. Expected Behavior: The gradient should remain fixed to the right e
I just updated Figma today, and for some reason. in some frames that I work in I cant Drag select the objects anymore. None of them are locked and I can still click select them one by one.in other frames I can sometimes still drag select. If I rebuild the ‘broke frame’ in a new frame it becomes broken aswell. here is a video of the issue *Edit*There is a Huge Section just above these frames, when I zoom out more, I can select again. when the frame is too close to the section and zoomed in very close. issue happens again When moving the Fram further away from the frame everything works again
Around 2–3 months ago, Figma links to slides and frames used to be shorter and cleaner. Now, when you copy a link to a slide, frame, or object, the URL is significantly longer and more complex. 🔍 Example: Before: https://www.figma.com/file/abc123/My-Project Now: https://www.figma.com/file/abc123/My-Project?type=design&node-id=44%3A2920&t=abcd1234&page-id=44%3A2919&mode=design Can I copy the shorter link?
I can’t seem to find a way to turn off the red measurement tool. If I go to View > Hide UI it does remove it, but it also removes other side navigation components that I need available.
I've been observing a drastic drop in Figma's performance for some time now. To tell the truth, it's impossible to work because simply copying a frame takes a dozen or so seconds. I observe this phenomenon on both native and web app. I've cleaned the computer's cache, reset the Figma cache and it doesn't help! It looks really bad. I'm very happy that you're adding a lot of new things, but I have the impression that you're omitting performance, which is the foundation. Please take care of the fundamentals 🙏
Hi everyone, here’s my situation: I have two Figma accounts, one on the Organization plan and one on the Professional plan, using different emails. I want to transfer (or copy) projects from the Organization account to the Professional account, including the Design System, and keep component links intact. However, when I use “Transfer” option under Settings from the Organization account, the Professional account doesn't receive any in-app notification. When I click “Review Request” from the email, it says “The transfer request you received has been cancelled by the team or organization that sent it. It's no longer available.” Even though no one canceled it Any idea why this happens or the best way to transfer projects to different account that keep all the components intact?

I’m trying to create the text effect in this image. The odometer’s text wraps around the circle very nicely. Right now I have to use a plugin, but I lose the ability to edit the text afterwards and there is no preview so I have to try a few times to get the text to wrap nicely. Sketch had a feature where if you dragged a text on top of a path it would snap to it and would follow the path. A similar feature (perhaps with a better implementation) would be very welcome on Figma.
You can duplicate a file, and create a branch of the current file but when your in a branch you can only duplicate to a new file not a new branch. I always have this need I create a branch and don’t want extra files I just want to create extra branches off of the branch not the original file which has been significantly modified at this point.
Hello. We’re having issues with text glitches. Some random characters are showing small glitches. Random because it’s an unpredictable inconsistency depending on who knows what - size, settings etc? Sometimes making a small adjustment like character space or vertical trim resolves the glitch, sometimes not. There appears to be no consistency with the issue and no catch-all solution, so it makes for a very impractical situation when using the font at scale. The font in question is Adobe Clean - it is activated via Universal Type Client at our company. They’ve tried removing and reloading, in fact we’ve been through all the suggested solutions inc “Recompute Text Layout in Selection” and “Regenerate All Instances (Slow)”, and toggling all settings in Type Settings > Detail. Some things work in some situations but it’s too random to be practical. The issue also remains when exporting content with the problematic text. Two examples attached. Any help or advice welcome.
Every time I open Figma (a lot daily), I have this annoying popup. How to close it forever?
I was working on my project called 'SAVER' and it disappeared. I am the owner of the file. I looked everywhere: Drafts, Deleted, Recent, and there’s no trace of it. The name of the document is 'SAVER'." When I try to access the link, I only see this message: Prototype not found. PROTO LINK: https://www.figma.com/proto/CaJCUuXfeYl5ZKVjtMSf5m/SAVER?node-id=154-494&t=3wdKiocWQMpaVtOb-0&scaling=min-zoom&content-scaling=fixed&page-id=0%3A1&starting-point-node-id=244%3A2858&show-proto-sidebar=1&hide-ui=1
