Auto-play and Loop Figma Slides Presentation

Is there a way to auto-play a Figma Slides presentation? I created a Slides deck for use at a high school career day booth and I’d like to just start it and let it go through the slides automatically and then repeat until I stop it. Any built-in or creative solutions to achieve this?

I’m not seeing this feature. Would love for it to be added!

Hey All, thanks for the feedback!

No, this is not currently possible, but I’ve updated this topic into a feature request. We’ll pass this idea onto the Figma Slides team for future consideration.

You can technically get videos to loop and autoplay in Figma Slides, as a workaround if you enclose the video in a frame from Figma Design (with Autoplay and loop enabled there).

I appreciate your help. However I think your solution is for another issue. I’m looking for the whole slideshow to auto-play and loop through the slides. Thanks though!

My temporary solution was to screen record myself clicking through the slides every 4 seconds and then save as a video file to play back in Quicktime. Since Quicktime has a Loop feature I could make my video full screen and set to play and loop. It worked for this event but would love to have this feature added in a future update of Figma Slides!

Oh okay, my bad.

Setting something like this up should be doable on Figma Design with prototyping, basically you need to use the After Delay interaction and set your desired time there. To make it loop, just add the same After Delay interaction from the last slide back to the first slide.

Only con of sorts is that you'll need to set this up across the entire presentation, but Figma will mostly remember the setting you've configured.

Slightly tedious mostly, but can be handy until this feature gets added into Slides

I have done it in the past with prototypes:

I connected all slides and set a timed transition for a few seconds so it goes to the next slide automatically, and on the last slide, same transition to the first. When you play the prototype it loops until you close it out.

It’s a workaround i used on screens in conventions and parties.

If you did this… my entire agency would convert to using slides for all presentations :)

Has this feature been added yet? I have a presentation that I want to loop on a screen at an expo show, so it needs to loop all day.
