Hello, I recently graduated and the university deactivated my email. I need to retrieve the linked files as those files were really important. Is it possible to do that? I have lost all my academic work. I did backup by adding my personal email to those projects but still can't see them. The university email ID is [redacted by forum admin/moderator to remove PII]
What does it take to get Figma to answer a support request? Being dead in the water with things that don’t work as they are supposed to is bad look Figma. At least help us out.
Description: When exporting nodes with image fills using the Figma plugin API (exportAsync({ format: "SVG" }) ), the resulting SVG often contains a <pattern> that has no children, while the <image> element ends up separately in <defs>. The exported shape is filled with fill="url(#pattern…)", but because the <pattern> is empty and doesn’t reference the <image>, nothing is rendered in most SVG viewers (Safari, Chrome, etc.). Steps to reproduce: Create a Polygon / Vector node. Apply an image fill. Export via plugin with: await node.exportAsync({ format: "SVG" }) Inspect the SVG: Shape uses fill="url(#pattern0…)" <pattern> is empty (<pattern …></pattern>) <image> with the base64 JPEG is present in <defs>, but never referenced. Open the SVG in a browser → the shape appears invisible. Expected result: Exported shape is visible Actual result: The <pattern> is empty, causing shapes to render invisible. This breaks exported SVG Request: Please update the SVG exporter so that image fills always
I’m sending a get_code request to the Figma MCP server via Cursor AI.Here is the request body I’m using: { "nodeId": "XXXX:XXXX", "clientLanguages": "kotlin", "clientFrameworks": "android, compose", "clientName": "cursor" } However, the response I receive is in JSX (JavaScript XML) format with Tailwind CSS classes, not Kotlin.I would expect either Kotlin code (Jetpack Compose) or at least a clean JSON representation of the selected frame. Question: How can I retrieve Kotlin code or a raw JSON object for the selected frame?
It would be incredibly helpful to either display or index the filename for an image asset added to Figma as an image “Fill”. We often build website and app comps with final assets and photography (including some stock assets). We are utilizing the Image Fill feature a lot, instead of adding images and having to mask them individually. This is super convenient, but as we go to purchase final assets or reference the original filename, it is not maintained or indexed in any way. Are we just missing something? Is there an existing plugin to manage these assets?

Support isn’t responding and now we are locked out because I don’t want to pay the annual fee for 15 licenses we won’t use. Support doesn’t respond. How do I talk to a human.
Question, if the cell contains the public URL to the image instead of a pasted image into the cell, does that not work?
Whenever I use the Glass Effect, I encounter the same problem. I create a frame, fill it with a color, and adjust the opacity. However, unwanted lines start appearing, even if I convert the frame into a component. This issue occurs every time, and I would like to understand the reason behind it and how to fix it.
I need to share a number of Make prototypes externally but although I have enabled external link sharing, and it works on Design and Figjam files, there is no option to share a Make prototype externally. This is blocking me from sharing the prototype for user testing. Please advise if this is a defect or is there a setting I’m missing.
Hi! I’m testing a site built with the new Figma Sites feature. I’ve set the top navigation bar as a sticky element and made sure it’s positioned at the very top of the layer tree. In the Layout panel, canvas stacking is set to “First on top.” Canvas stakcking settings It looks fine on Figma and Chrome(desktop & laptop) On Safari and mobile browsers, the sticky navigation bar appears underneath the hero section content, even though it’s set to be the topmost layer in the design. On Chrome (desktop & laptop): everything works as intended — the GNB stays sticky and always remains on top. On Safari (desktop & laptop) and all mobile browsers (Safari & Chrome): the GNB is sticky, but appears underneath other layers and is partially or fully hidden. Is there a workaround or fix for this issue? Thanks in advance!
