Hello, I’m struggling with the layout option not available in the app but visible in the browser. It’s very frustrating and I don’t understand what I’m doing wrong. I restarted both app and computer more than once. Thank you in advance.
Is it possible to use local fonts (or any fonts not available on Google Fonts) with Figma Sites? Is there a way to link a .woff file or reference a custom font in any other way? Thanks!
Everytime I leave Figma window to go to another window, I get this “New available font: Raleway” notifications. Why is this happening? How do i turn it off?
Does anyone know of a way to prototype using haptics in Figma? Is there a way? I want to simulate having VoiceOver turned on in the Accessibility settings of the iPhone for testing. I have never seen a way to use haptics with prototyping. Does anyone happen to know of a way to do this or do you need something coded to test this?
I’d love to see two improvements to the Layers panel: Custom default frame name – Instead of every new frame being named “Frame”, it would be great if we could set our own default (e.g. “div”, “container”, etc.) in the settings. Auto layer name formatting – Add a setting to auto-rename layers using a chosen case style: camelCase, snake_case, kebab-case, PascalCase, etc. Would be super helpful for dev handoff and keeping files clean and consistent.
Hi, On right sidebar, Effect styles category, I see a storm icon between drop shadow icon. I only have drop shadows in my effect styles, can you explain me why I have a storm icon ?
First of all, kudos to the Figma team for Sites, it’s an amazing product even in beta. I've been looking forward to Figma making this happen, an easy way to publish a website directly. I’ve been moving our website from Framer to Figma hoping to switch, however I encountered one issue: I have text styles with breakpoints for desktop, tablet and mobile. Everything looks good in the preview, however when I publish the site, styles use the values for the mobile breakpoints even on the desktop. Interestingly enough, if I resize the browser window to a smaller size and then back again, it works. So it looks like the first view is the one with the issue. At some point, I think it was working properly, but now this issue is back again. I can’t seem to see any correlations with anything else I’m doing. Anyone else experiencing something similar? Issue: Currently, the Community tab automatically closes when switching to another tab, and the app does not save the last viewed state for the next access. I can’t see the pin tab function in the action menu of this tab Can not find the pin action
An image inside a mask looks fine in Figma Design, but when used in Figma Sites, the mask appears rotated in the preview, breaking the crop. Steps to Reproduce: Create a component instance with an image inside a mask in Figma Design. Confirm it looks correct in both design and prototype views. Add the component to a Figma Sites project. Check the preview in Figma Sites. (Redacted images)
Hi, could someone please help me. I am unable to set auto layout to auto distribute horizontally. It only let’s me do so when I specify auto layout direction. I am extremely confused by the settings in general because the first Icon is labeled Freeform which converts the auto layout to a regular frame without any indications. The top right icon does the same only it’s highlighted in blue. I also couldn’t understand Grid Beta. This used to be so you can set auto layout bi-directionally ↩︎ it doesn’t seem to work in similar way but is rather building tool in somewhat of a separate category. Also, how often do you click Align or Grid boxes vs Vertical and Horizontal gap settings? It makes no sense! =\
I previously accessed my Figma account using my university-provided student email address. However, now that I’ve graduated, my university has deactivated that email, and I’ve lost access to my Figma account and the files associated with it. I would really appreciate it if you could help me transfer access to my personal email address so I can continue working on my designs and maintain access to my files. Please let me know if there is anything that can be done!
