In the design mode in figma slides, I noticed last week that I can’t shrink the layers panel for slides that have a lot of layers. This makes it really difficult to navigate between slides since it’s mostly covered up, and I end up toggling between slides/design mode to hide the layers panel.See attached screen recording:
Suddenly, I can’t double-click to select anything inside of any element. This was working up until today. I am up to date on both my Figma Version and my Mac OS (Sequoia 15.6.1). Desperately need help on this, I can’t keep using the layers menu to dig down and select.
I am really pissed of because it deleted my blog posts and wrote some random junk as an apology. I even didn’t ask it to make such a thing. This is happening for the second time. Whoever trained it in that way. Hear me. This is WRONG!!!What is more, it is not able to revert it!. It doesn’t have access to 2 older version!!!

There is no paste and replace option on the menu after I copy the object and when I use command+shift+R, it turns into rename action. Is there anyone know how to fix it?

When i try to reverify the student status for my original account, it says “Verification Limit ExceededWe're glad you're enthusiastic, but it looks like you've already redeemed or attempted to redeem this offer.”I have also submitted a ticket. I am experiencing ongoing issues with the SheerID verification process for my student account.After submitting all required information, SheerID asks me to verify with a government ID. I have uploaded my passport multiple times, both in clear and high-quality images.However, every time I submit, I receive the same response:“We were unable to confirm your identity.”I also contacted SheerID Support directly and explained the issue through their form, but unfortunately, they have not provided a solution. The problem persists even though my documents are valid, clear, and up to date.This issue is preventing me from re-verifying my student account and accessing Figma Education benefits. Could you please review this case directly or provide me with an alternative way to verify my student status?
Dear Figma Support,I noticed an additional charge under "One-time charges and credits" after I mistakenly assigned a team member as an Editor, which triggered a paid seat. I immediately reverted them back to View-only, and the seat was never used.Since this was an unintentional action. I kindly request a cancellation or refund of the related charge. I'm designing a platform with figma make, but when I press the correct error button, I keep thinking about the message "Thinking" and it won't shut down without fixing the error, and it won't work. The same goes for logging out and doing it again. What should I do?
Hello Figma Community & Education Team, I am a Computer Science student from Sudan. Due to the ongoing war, our university has suspended operations and we were displaced outside Sudan. Unfortunately, I cannot provide a current student card or portal access because the university has not yet set up an online system for us to continue our studies. I have been using Figma since 2020 and have spent over five years improving my design skills on the platform. The Education Plan has been essential to my learning journey. I’ve been trying to verify my account for the Figma Education Plan for week and through Sheer ID I have submitted my school documents. But after I received ‘Get verified for Figma’ Email from Sheerid Verification, I’m stuck with this reviewing process. My Education plan is going to expire in a single day and because I’m in the middle of highly important project, this is very critical situation. I did not expect this process to take this long. I am working on integrating Figma's API to automate certain tasks, specifically adding images into nodes within Figma files. The process involves using Make.com to send API requests to Figma to modify a node (for example, inserting an image into a rectangle).I am using Google Drive to upload the image generated from ChatGPT and then obtaining a URL to insert it into Figma. Could this be causing the issue, or is the problem related only to the API?I have successfully set up the API calls for retrieving file content and getting node information using the GET method, and I am able to retrieve the necessary data from Figma. However, when attempting to send a PATCH request to modify a node (inserting an image into a rectangle), I face an error. Lately when having a figma file open, that is comprised of several pages , I suddenly (or randomly) get a “Loading” state on the screen, that redirects me to the very first page of the figma file after a moment. That means the designs, I am working with, cannot be watched for the duration I would need to effectively work with figma.I enjoyed using Figma for a very long time, but this gets me incredibly frustrated, because it wastes so much of my time.
Hi I’m working in a Design System where I’m using an Icon button with what is called a Master icon (so the icon inherit the color from different states or modes). When using this icon button inside another. component is shown distorted, but very randomly I would say. Here is an example, on the bottom is the base component of a File uploader component and the icon button with the bin looks fine, but when I take these base components into the main components (top one), it looks distorted. I assume this is a Figma bug, because sometimes happens, sometimes not and the button is done exactly in the same way as the other button component that shows Label + button.Is anyone having the same issues?
Hello, I am relatively new to Figma. I had my professor look at my settings and he is confused why my animations were not functioning. Our assignment required the Smart Animation setting called Bouncy. It was working fine for my classmates, they had the exact same settings as me. But it would just skip the animation for me. It will not function on default Smart Animation + Bouncy either. I had a strobe effect issue with some other animations that day, but I can make a separate post for that. I did this classwork on Fire Fox, Windows 10, Asus laptop.I was working on my homework and have been on my Fire Fox, Windows 10, Custom desktop PC. Same problem with bouncy. Hi Team,I've been working on a design using Figma and encountered an issue with code generation.The design process is working well overall, and the code generation (React + Typescript) was functioning correctly up to a certain version. However, I'm now experiencing a problem where:- The preview updates correctly according to my prompts- The generated code does not reflect these preview updates- There appears to be a disconnect between the latest preview and the corresponding code outputCould you please help investigate this issue? I have a line in an auto layout in Figma. The auto layout settings are all correct, however, the line displays (looks) like it's in the wrong spot visually, if that makes sense. The first screenshot (line in the middle of the text) is what it looks like when the issue is occurring. I go in, and all I do is move the line's position to a different spot in the layer stack, then I move it back to where it was before, and then it looks like how it's supposed to (second screenshot, line right above the buttons).Based on my research it seems that this is a known issue with Auto Layout (though I couldn’t find an official support ticket or anything I could reference for ways to fix the issue). I already cleared the cache in the Figma app and this keeps happening. It’s also frustrating because I’ll navigate to a different page in my Figma file and come back (after it was displaying in the correct place) and the divider line will be in the wrong spot again.Any tips or suggestions for fixing this
