I want to apply a blend mode to a blurred object, but when I blur it, the blend mode disappears. There was no such thing in the old versions. I can’t update it.I have a problem where the text in the component and its instances doesn’t update when I change the font weight in the text styles.styles does not update to reflect changes made to the component. Steps: - I created a button component, and the text in the button uses text styles- The font in the text styles is linked to a variable Issue:When I change the font weight in the text styles, the button text in both the component and its instances doesn’t update.Note: this issue only happen when the font is linked to a variable. Figma file here

Hi,I'm having an issue with publishing some updates in Figma. When I try to publish the library updates, I get an error for 38 changes (text-related), and it doesn't update them.I'm also running into a problem with instances. I changed the content colours using local variables, and it updated the design system file. But when I publish the changes, the instances still follow the old colours. For example, the table cell component and all the table instances are still showing the old design, not the updated one.Thanks in advance

I have two Figma accounts - a company account and a personal account. On the company account, the keyboard shortcuts for zoom are:1 for Zoom to fit2 for Zoom to selectionCOMPANY ACCOUNTOn the personal account, the keyboard shortcuts for zoom are:Shfit + 1 for Zoom to fitShift + 2 for Zoom to selectionPERSONAL ACCOUNTThis is driving me crazy as I’m always hitting the wrong shortcut in the wrong account. TL;DR: figma.ui.reposition only works until user moves the window for the first time. Background During development of Parrot we found the need to support different Window Modes like Fullscreen, Docked to the Bottom or modal window - as requested by others - see links below. To mimic such a behaviour one basically needs to know the windows current position and one needs to be able to change it. While Figma doesn’t provide a method to get the current possition it supports the repositioning: via figma.ui.reposition. This function works until the user has moved the window manually by dragging it. After the first drag after showing the window - the function does set the corresponding values but doesn’t move the window. If found a way to tackle this by calling figma.ui.hide followed by figma.ui.show but this can lead to an ugly flickering and intercepts certain mouse events that make things like transitions impossible. Hello!I have a problem. Now I am living in Russia and have mobile operator “Megafon”. When I am using it, I can’t open Figma boards and also page “Recents and Sharing”. How can it be, if it is fast?

It’s quite frustrating i can’t resize Figjam stickies. Or at least its inconsistent. sometimes I can sometimes I can’t.

If I export a frame as an SVG, Figma adds a phantom rect element to the file that is not in the design. Note if it helps troubleshoot: the bug doesn’t happen if you go to SVG export settings and check “Ignore overlapping layers”. Please stop adding elements that shouldn’t be there; this is causing render artifacts for some of our products.

when I use the LIBRARY_PUBLISH webhook, the description returned by the API is not always correct.Sometimes it corresponds to the previous version.Has anyone else encountered this issue?It seems like the problem is coming directly from Figma.

Sadly I have to work on a Windows computer, so whenever I type a special character, it’s done with alt + 3 digits. But when I do that, the special character replaces the character that it comes after. This drives me crazy, and it’s unlikely they’ll be giving me a Mac(book) anytime soon...

Hi guys, In the current UI (NOT beta), the variable selector behavior has changed for the worse. When the variable name is long (or has a long path) the buttons to detach the variable or to find the element using it within a selection become hidden behind the right border. Since the right-side panel cannot be resized, it is super annoying. Please provide a fix – I don’t want to switch to the beta UI just yet or introduce changes to my variables' taxonomy (duuuh...).  Additionally, I cannot select a variable from a list by clicking its name (I used to be able to do so before). Now I need to always click the swatch.   

I have had access to the AI design tool for awhile now, but this morning when I loged on to create another project, the AI design tool has been removed? Can someone help me find it or get it back. We had created an amazing workflow for our team and this has slowed us down tremendiously. 

Is there any way to break all connections but leave my account intact? It has some pretty important stuff in it and there’s no way i can get in touch with the people in charge of permissions. Or am I screwed? I can’t even log in. Thanks

Hello, I would like to ask, is it possible, if i am an owner of a team, then i delete the team if i no longer use it? And if it is possible, does it affect any files inside the team and the members in the team, will they automatically lost access to the files inside the team too? Because I don’t see any options in Figma to block a certain email or user, but i don’t want them to keep asking for request in my file team, aside from deny, is it possible to say that I as the owner have left the team hence cannot approve nor deny access, or perhaps if it is another way for Figma to change the link of my file? Thank you

Help, I cant detach just created component. Option just disappeared.. 

I have a master button component and I have applied variable on font name so it will change on desktop (opensans) and mobile (poppins) when I set frame mode. Now issue is when I update master button component weight property the variants are not updating when I drag variant outside the frame and again place it inside the frame it gets updated please fix this bug figma ASAP.

I am batch renaming layers and need to change the case from mixed case to lowercase. (A simple example: “ICON_brand_IconNameHere_Primary” → “icon_brand_iconnamehere_primary”). According to this Figma article, the Rename Layers tool should support regular expressions. I’ve used this in the past to successfully edit prefixes and suffixes, but it isn’t working for changing cases. I’ve tried using the following expressions: Match: ([A-Z]+) Successfully matches capital lettersReplace:\L$1I’ve tried variations on this, and instead of changing the case, it just inserts “\L$1” wherever capitals exist in the original.How can I achieve this?

Is anyone else experiencing this? no matter what is tried.Figma crashes only by accessing the plugin. Not even interacting with it.

Фигма стала потреблять много энергии. Даже открывая пустой файл, появляется уведомление о высоком потреблении энергии. Из-за чего быстро разряжается аккумулятор.К примеру, при работе в ФШ такого нет и аккумулятор сажается медленнее. За 8 часов работы в ФШ сажает 50-60%, а фигма разряжает полностью за 4-5 часов.Ноут — MacBook Pro M1 Pro  

I have been experiencing this issue where if I have viewers added to the project and the files within the project inherit the project view settings the viewers are still unable to open each file within the project. And when I look at the files I only have 2 share options: “Only those invited” (which means I need to grant access on an individual basis or “Anyone” (which would result in ANYONE even outside the organization to be able to access it with the link)This feels like a bug to me because I need to add everyone one by one to every single file. And when I need to revoke access later in time I cannot do it globally, I have to go into EVERY SINGLE FILE to remove them. You can understand how problematic this is. Is there any solution so that everyone who is part of the organization or project automatically has access to every file within each project folder?? Or is this the intended functionality?
