Report a Problem

I’ve been experimenting with Figma sites and have encountered a strange problem where rectangles with a non-normal blend mode display properly in the preview while circles with a non-normal blend mode do not? I’m sure that the shape is not the root of the problem but it has been the constant in determining what works from what does not. Here’s the file:

I received an email from info@figmacareers.online saying that it is Jessica Bent who wrote the email for Director, Product Design role. I believe this email address is not legitimate. 

I was working on my website design when the file suddenly disappeared. When I try to access it through the “Recently Closed Files” section, I get the following message:“You can’t access this resource. Contact the owner, an admin, or support for assistance.”Please note that no one else was working on the file, and no one other than me has access to the account. Currently my Figma top bar showing “Not found”, and I can’t change the size of the windows.My laptop is Windows 11 and I also reinstalled it, but the problem still occurred, does anyone have the same problem? Would like to know how to solve it, thanks.

Why if I have the access to edit a file, today I still have the permission but the file is marked “locked”?

Make is in a loop trying to fix some alerts with no success, it’s stuck there and I can not continue, neither use any other function anymore  in this file

Hi everyone,I’ve been experiencing an issue recently where I’d copy-paste an auto-layout enabled frame into another, and have the pasted frame’s resizing options change from ‘fill-container’ to ‘fixed width’. This affects both the frame I copy-pasted, and all frames nested within it. This applies to both components and non-component frames.For context, I enable auto layout on 99% of my frames, and have set most of the nested frames to ‘fill-container’ to allow for responsiveness. The top frame, typically the size of the desktop/mobile screen determines what size the child frames should resize to.This hasn’t been an issue at all prior to the most recent release; it’s also been inconsistent and unpredictable, so I assume it to be a bug.It’s been a huge nuisance in my team’s workflow – Has anyone else experienced a similar issue or knows how to resolve this?

Can somebody explain why can I “go to component” from any file’s library panel expect the library file itself now?We have an old library that I’m trying to unpublish, but it just bugged what adds insult to injury the panel shows only first few characters of the full name, it wasn’t like that before. When I "ignore auto layout" I cannot select and drag the frame it is attached to.  I cannot click and drag the "table" title, which is the main frame in the screenshot, because only the top row, to which I have given the "absolute position" property, can be selected. (The frame with the "absolute position" feature is outside the borders of my main frame, but I can view it because I disabled the "clip content" feature.)

I recieved a mail from Figma that explains me that my education plan has expired. As I’m still a student until december, I suscribed again to the education plan and it works ! But I no longer have access to my student projects. Can someone help me with this ?

Hello everyoneI have a problem: my colleague was working on my Figma document and did something that unlinked one of the components, I have to fix the info in it by myself. I don’t know how components work, I only learned how to create them, how to linkback one of the unlinked components—I don’t know. Internet can’t help me. Maybe someonne here can?

When looking at my plan it says I am on “Starter” which is incorrect. My manager has the admin view and I am included as a full seat. I had access to Dev mode last week and am now getting an upgrade error?

An image inside a mask looks fine in Figma Design, but when used in Figma Sites, the mask appears rotated in the preview, breaking the crop. Steps to Reproduce: Create a component instance with an image inside a mask in Figma Design. Confirm it looks correct in both design and prototype views. Add the component to a Figma Sites project. Check the preview in Figma Sites.(Redacted images)  

I previously  accessed my Figma account using my university-provided student email address. However, now that I’ve graduated, my university has deactivated that email, and I’ve lost access to my Figma account and the files associated with it.I would really appreciate it if you could help me transfer access to my personal email address so I can continue working on my designs and maintain access to my files.Please let me know if there is anything that can be done!

Hello! I extended my education plan, but I still can’t edit in my education project, as if I don’t have the right to edit it.

I’ve been following the fantastic insutructions here to create highlighted text for my slides. I would create them in figma then copy them into my slide. While editing the highlights appear correctly, but when presenting the effect is completely gone.Anyone know why this is happening or how to fix it?

HiA lot has been said about the new UI.I share the same general thought. It’s not the best solution.Just starting to use it and two main aspects stand out:The toolbar at the bottom is bad. It collides with the working space and it collides with the operating system bottom bar - which makes you afraid to go to the figma toolbar. It makes you feel constrained. Bad. And it collides with all software out there. it’s just like an appendix in the way.Bottom buttons are good for mobile, not desktop.Why don't you put it on the top bar - which is very empty because no one works in so many projects at once, I suppose.You can even move these to the right and keep the toolbar in the left, without being another horizontal bar if that's what worries you.Or, since monitors have much more horizontal space and the design areas today are more and more vertical, maybe the toolbar could be vertical, at the left edge.Another problem I encounter is the lagginess of the Layers panel. I suppose it's because o

The “multiplayer” aspect of Slides is amazing.But we discovered it doesn’t work as it should, when using “Present + Notes”.When a presenter is spotlighted, their pointer movements and embedded prototype interactions only appear in the notes window, not in the present window.The current workaround for presentations over Zoom is to use the “share section of a screen” option to highlight the slide area within the notes window. This is not optimal! Feels like a simple bug to fix… or add the “spotlight” functionality to the present window.

This has been an ongoing issue within our design team for close to a year now.For some odd reason, passages of text have different kerning settings depending on who is typing within the text box EVEN THOUGH both of our text settings appear to be exactly the same. The kerning, leading, and paragraph spacing are all the same but for some reason Figma believes our text settings are slightly different.I posted it as a gif because its literally impossible to notice the difference unless you see it happening in real time, but man is it annoying when dealing with large passages of text and the rag!! Has anyone else come across this issue, and if so, did you manage to find a solution to it?

I’ve downloaded the font agent, installed it on my computer, restarted both Figma and my computer (Mac). And it’s still showing up in Figma as “Local fonts not enabled”. I’ve uninstalled the installer and did the process a few times with no success. Any thoughts as to how to fix this?
