Hi, I am a college professor and a lot of my students have been locked out of Figma since the re-verification emails went out with recently. These are all students enrolled in an accredited university and in design classes that use Figma. And we use Figma in almost all our classes.I have watched these students be bounced back and forth between education@figma.com and SheerID -- a Catch-22 loop. They have given clear evidence that they are students. This also seems to just be happening randomly to some students and not others. Is there some ai-powered system that is making mistakes? Or is Figma about to go through a major change w/ its free access for Education?If so, there is a ton of stuff that we (and many others) would need to rethink.I am seeing a lot of messages about this, but is anything else having these issues?

While collaborating on a Figma file, we noticed an issue where text layers sometimes change unexpectedly. When my collaborator selects and edits a text object, it occasionally turns into a stroke-only text with no fill color. However, the properties panel still shows the text as having a fill, so the change isn’t reflected there.The only workaround I’ve found is to repeatedly click the affected text until it reverts back to displaying as a proper solid-filled text.Steps to Reproduce: Open a shared Figma file with at least two collaborators. Have one collaborator select a text layer and attempt to edit the text. Observe that the text sometimes switches to a stroke-only appearance, even though the properties panel shows a fill. I run some quick plugins on my local usually and at times when I see the figma links in gmail, it usually opens in my browser.  And I remember loading my plugins using the manifest.json and running it in browser. But for some reason recently that option seems to be missing. Is there any change on that? From app  From Browser 

Tried To Use Pattern fill in Figma Sites but during Publishment the issue is raised by "Pattern Fill Only Supported On Vector Object" Even though it is used on a Rectangle Shape which Is vector

This is what's happening:1. When I try to copy and paste from the browser to the Figma Windows app, the function does not work at all. 2. When I try to copy and paste inside a figma file using the Windows app, the function still does not work.The shortcut and right-click options do not work for copying and pasting.I've had this problem since yesterday. I am using the most recent figma update for the figma windows app, and I checked the browser clipboard option, which does not help me.Please help me resolve this issue as soon as possible. It's very annoying and makes it difficult to use the app.

When using the built-in Google Font version of Open Sans, there are discrepancies between the font style and font weight between full seat users and dev mode users. All full seat users in our account see the following listed in Dev Mode as 600 and Semibold. The dev mode only users see it as 400 and Condensed Regular.Full seat: Dev mode only: 

I made a website in Figma Site and everything was going well, but now when I preview the website, the font appears different than in the actual design. What is happening? 

A team member wanted to make changes to one of our Buzz files. She has edit rights for the file. She made the changes in the Text boxes via the ‘edit content’ icon. I could see the changes in the text fields as well, but they aren’t showing in the design. They only showd in the design after i clicked into the text field and made a change as well (e.g. added a space or a ‘.’

So I’ve built a site using variable sets as usual with intention to have both Light and Dark modes available only to find out there is no “Set variable mode” interaction in the menu for Figma Sites. Am I missing something? And if the feature is just gone, is there a workaround you can recommend to change the variable sets from the website UI? 

I’ve been wanting to change my email to my .edu email to verify for the education plan on Figma. I have been trying to change the email multiple times, and there’s always a popup saying that a verification email was sent, when it actually was not.I’ve even tried making a new account with my .edu email, but there’s no email with the verification link.Figma support does not even respond, I have tried contacting them. I’ll be happy if someone can help me resolve this issue.

Hello,I’m trying to get my Education account approved, but the system keeps saying that it has already been approved under another account.Because of this, I cannot proceed with approval on the account I actually want to use.Has anyone experienced a similar issue or know how to resolve it?Any advice would be greatly appreciated. This happens with large text boxes that stretch the entire height of my screen.

I have tried verifying 10+ times, I have contacted SheerID and they told me to contact education@figma.com. However, I have sent email about this issue (help.figma.com/hc/requests/1513901) at least 7 working days ago and no feedbacks and response at all. It’s been week and I’ve not been able to open my file on Figma Make.

I have multiple prototypes that include a trigger that allows them to advance to the next screen. [When video ends > Navigate to] Some screens get stuck and don’t advance. It’s happening on old prototypes that used to work seamlessly and new prototypes and it happens intermittently. I’ve tried restarting my computer, clearing the cache and other troubleshooting tips from Figma community forums; however, I can’t find anyone that is having the same issue and nothing has helped. Sometimes, I can restart the prototype and all screens will advance as expected. But this doesn’t always work. 

Issue with Color Picker in FigmaAfter the recent Figma update, the color picker (eyedropper tool) isn't working. Whether I use the shortcut key “I” or select it manually, the tool doesn't respond.Has anyone else faced this issue or found a solution?​​​​​​

Hi, if we click the unlink button the Figma Desgin disappears, but if we refresh the page, the Figma Desgin is still linked to the Issue.

I have this strange bug that just showed up as I was working on a design where all the elements in my frame disappeared. I thought i had deleted them, only to realize that they are all still there but not visible for some reason. I can still see the individual items on the layers panel, but they are totally invisible in frame. The one item that is visible is not within the frame itself. What could be the issue? How can I solve it?

We are facing several recurring issues in Figma that are seriously affecting our workflow: Auto layout resets — Layouts revert unexpectedly without any interaction. Library updates fail — Updates are either not pushed for a long time, or updating takes ages / doesn’t work at all. Text resets — Text styles and content reset without being touched. These problems create major complications for our design team and cause confusion during developer handoff. 👉 We would greatly appreciate guidance or solutions to fix these issues.

I have already tried quick fixes such as Reset Zoom Level, Restart Figma, and Close Unused Tabs.
