Urgent Request to Restore a Deleted File

Dear Figma Support Team,

I hope this message finds you well.

I’m writing to request your kind assistance in restoring one of my project files that was deleted after my Figma Education Plan expired. I was the owner of the file, and I wasn’t aware it would be removed once the plan ended.

Here’s the file link for your reference:

This file is very important for my ongoing work, and I would be truly grateful if you could help me recover it or provide any possible way to retrieve its content.

I understand you’ve lost access to one of your files, I know how important this must be.


It looks like the file you mentioned was located in the Drafts folder within the “Emdad” team, and it seems that the team was deleted by its owner.

Please note that when a team is deleted, all files and projects within it are also removed for all team members.

You can learn more about this process here: Delete a team.

 

At this time, it looks like it’s been less than 28 days since the team was deleted. This means the file can still be restored.

Your next step is to check the inbox (and spam folder) of the team owner for the team deletion confirmation email, which includes a link to restore the team. Please try restoring the team using that link.

If the team isn’t restored, the file (along with all other files belonging to the team) will be permanently deleted after 28 days.

If the owner can’t find the email, restoring the team doesn’t bring the file back, or you need any further help, we won’t be able to assist further here in the forum.

In that case, please contact our Support team directly via this secure form within the 28-day window.

  • The steps you’ve already tried
