Report a Problem

When I export a screen as a PNG or JPG, there will be random faded grid lines on some parts of the image. The filter icon in this example also doesn’t have a box around it in Figma.  I’ve tried exporting with different settings and always get the same result. There’s no grid on the screen in Figma - it looks completely normal there. When my coworker exports the same screen, it’s normal for her. Any idea why this is happening and what I can do to fix it?

Hi guys,If I try to copy an element from a frame, far away from that frame on the main canvas, that element is still gonna get copied inside that parent frame. What’s the point? If I drag the page miles away from the parent frame, my intention is probably copying that element somewhere else, not in the same frame, no? edit: I can’t tell you how annoying and illogical this is. Is it a bug? It didn’t work like that in the past, I know for sure. Or is it by design for some weird messed up reason?

A couple of bugs that have been annoying me lately:Unable to click “+” for strokes and fill and effects. I am able to apply variables, but whenever I click “+”, it would not respond. Unable to remove strokes, fill and effects. Once I apply them, I cannot click remove. If I do it on a browser though, it works Left click not working on elements sometimes. I have tried restarting the application over and over again but these bugs keep consistently appearing

Hi,I was previously on a paid plan however after switching to a free plan I now have lost access to the billing section within figma. I still need to access past invoices for this account. Is that something that you might be able to help me with?  Regards,Jay

Hello,I’m currently using the Figma for Education plan, and I would like to use the AI First Draft feature to assist in my academic projects. I’ve checked my settings, and the feature appears to be enabled, but for some reason, I still can’t access or use it.I’m not sure why this is happening, and I would appreciate any help in resolving this issue. Hi there, I’ve moved from Berlin to London. I cancelled my subs for awhile and today I wanted to renew the Professional Plan and it kept throwing me this error.I’ve tried to change the card to my German account, and change the currency everything. Pls help.

Around 2–3 months ago, Figma links to slides and frames used to be shorter and cleaner. When cropping an image, it’s not always possible to hold down the arrow keys to reposition the image within the crop boundary. Sometimes it doesn’t move more than one step. It’s a little frustrating and inconsistent.It seems to have something to do with what’s in focus - when I click the image and it becomes focussed in the Properties panel (under Fill), then holding the arrow keys works. When it’s not focussed in the Properties panel (but still selected on the canvas) it doesn’t allow you to hold the arrow keys, yet you can still move one step at a time.I’ve only noticed this behaviour happening recently.Of course, you can drag to quickly move the image within the cropped area, but this doesn’t snap to the pixel grid (even when snap to pixel grid is turned on) - but this is besides the point.

On the canvas, the mouse arrow is always replaced by that tool, that is currently selected. But on hovering over e.g. the edge of a section, over elements with comment tool active etc., the mouse stays the same and onl shows a mouse arrow, instead or the resizing icon, or the comment icon etc. Mouse Arrow does not change on hovering over elements, so that its unclear wich tool is being used or is availablePlease make repair the mouse to change to the right tool on hovering on different contexts again. It really makes working harder, because you are not sure which tool is currently selected.Thank you!

When sharing a link to a page in Figma to a viewer, we have recently experienced that the viewer can not see the updates made by the designer when the reviewer is revisiting the page via the link the day after?It’s creating a lot of frustrations when you think the viewer is seeing the same thing as the designer is, but they can’t see the updates that have been made since last.We have not noticed this earlier. Is there a fix for it?We have also experienced that the updates made by one designer (in the most recent case a new page added in a file) was not visible to another designer until the other designer reopened the file. This causing great frustrations when designers working together online on the same project.

I have a brand font installed but it’s not rendering any punctuation correctly e.g. “ ? ! & all become generic and off-brand. They’re very distinctive and look obviously wrong but the font is fine in Adobe. How can I continue to use Figma for design and solve this issue, I don’t want to move into Adobe, it’s going to slow my process down SO much and I’ve invested so much time into building out my design system.Thanks!

Ciao a tutti!I have a question about the Education plan.I am part of three different “edu” teams under the same account, and I received a message stating that my Education access is expiring in 2 weeks. However, the message doesn’t specify which team.From what I understand, the plan applies per team, not per account.Has anyone run into the same situation? Not really sure how to log this because I don’t think it’s a question, and it’s not really worth having a conversation around, but I’m noticing this ‘dead space’ on the effects and stroke panel. I’ve restarted my Figma file + app multiple times but it doesn’t change anything. The only thing that fixes is it if I scroll up in the right panel… as if there’s an imaginary square blocking me from clicking the `+` button.  Video for reference You can see if I hover here, there’s no hover state (it’s not letting me click it):  But if I were to scroll or add a stroke, I can add an effect:  The video will show you a better idea of what I’m talking about lol, but I’d like to flag this. This isn’t working on my other computer, so it’s confusing but also annoying. 

The interaction tooltip is failing to show up in the prototype panel when clicking on an interaction. The issue is happening consistently for me when there have two or more interactions on a frame. When there is only one interaction on the frame, the properties panel does correctly show the interaction tooltip.  

In the past, I would create a component, and then could select the individual text layers to add text properties to them. As of yesterday, when I create a component, I can only apply text properties by creating them on the component, and then selecting the text layer and applying the property. This is a lot slower than my previous workflow. Is this a bug? Is this intended functionality as part of an update? Is the ability to create text properties directly on text layers still there and I’m just missing it? Thanks for your help!

When using auto layout some of the images/modules can be located at an odd X or Y orientation such as 102.03. When this is the case the image exports as an odd number, it appears to be 150px tall in Figma but on export becomes 150.5px. The position of an element should NOT affect the size of an image on export. This is causing major issues for our team and having to manually edit each image or drag each image out of layout to save out.

The title. When resetting size in component instances, I have to click the button 2 times. 1st time it resets ONLY height, 2nd time it resets width. Take a look please

Hi everyone, I’m having a problem and could really use some help.Background:I’m working in a large Figma file — it's overloaded with information, and Figma keeps suggesting that I should offload the file. I’m using Variables extensively (light/dark theme).Here’s the issue:When I export components to another file (as a Figma Library), all components, colors, etc., are transferred. BUT the most important part — Variables — are not.If I create Variables manually or transfer them using a plugin, the system doesn't recognize or link them. It treats them as completely separate, unlinked variables.The situation:I transferred a component via the Figma Library into another file. All the colors were exported, but not the Variables. Then I exported Variables via a plugin and tried to update a color inside the component — but the system doesn’t recognize the Variables at all. It's like they are totally disconnected.Please help — I really need to fix this.

My admin gave me full editor access on the company’s shared workspace but I’m still getting an error message saying “Limited Access: To create new files, switch to a plan where you’re a full member”. Is there any way to get full access? I’ve logged out and logged back in, restarted my figma on browser and application, and deleted my cache. 

No MCP Server option available hereThe option to enable MCP server is not available, I have a professional acount and I used desktop app. Also I have latest version of figma desktop app. Please help
